A. Are 72 virgins in the Quran and hadith.

72 virgins are not in the Quran.

72 virgins are in hadith stories.

Hadith stories about 72 virgins all contradict the teachings of Allaah delivered by Prophet Muhammad in the Quran about life on Earth and life in Paradise Jannah as explained below.

1. What is Houri? Who is Houri? What is Houris? Who is Houris?

Hadith stories about 72 virgins were invented after the death of Prophet Muhammad by people who did not understand that Houri meaning beautiful describes every woman and girl who will be granted Paradise Jannah on the Day of Resurrection.

2. Who is a virgin in Paradise Jannah?

Hadith stories about 72 virgins were invented by story tellers or people who were deceived to believe false stories because they did not understand that every male and female who will be granted Paradise Jannah will be resurrected as a new creation meaning everyone in Paradise Jannah will be a virgin and this is why Allaah will marry everyone again in Paradise Jannah.

3. Life in Paradise. Life in Jannah. Life in the Garden of Eden.

Hadith stories about 72 virgins invented after the death of Prophet Muhammad contradict the teachings in the Quran about how the resurrected will live in Paradise Jannah.

Quran 56:35 Koran 56:35 We (Allaah) have produced (resurrected) them (both male and female in the Hereafter in) a (new, second) creation.

Quran 44:54 Koran 44:54 That is how it shall be (in Paradise Jannah). And We (Allaah) shall marry them (the resurrected husbands and wives and those who were not married in Quran 56:35-Quran 56:38) to (resurrected) companions with beautiful eyes.

Note 1. Bihurin inin means “to companions with beautiful eyes” called Houris meaning fair ones.

Quran 37:48 Koran 37:48 And with them (resurrected men) shall be modest (meaning humble resurrected) companions with beautiful eyes (in Quran 56:35-Quran 56:38).

Quran 78:33 Koran 78:33 And (in Quran 56:35-Quran 56:38 are resurrected males and resurrected females who are) youthful companions, of equal age (whose youth and age shall never change. These are the humans and the jinn who were righteous and have been resurrected as new creations. Since they are new creations both the resurrected males and the resurrected females are virgins. Females resurrected in Paradise Jannah are called ““houris” meaning “beautiful ones” or “fair ones” because everything about them is beautiful meaning “fair” as a reward for what women earned from their good deeds meaning from their good behaviour in their first life on the earth).

Quran 44:55 Koran 44:55 There (in Paradise) they (the resurrected husbands and wives and children and their descendants and friends are new creations in Quran 56:35-Quran 56:38 and) shall enjoy every kind of fruit in peace and security.

Quran 44:56 Koran 44:56 There (in Paradise Jannah) they (the resurrected husbands and wives and children and descendants and friends) do not taste death, except the first death (in their first life in the world) and He (Allaah) shall have protected them (those who are in Paradise Jannah) from the punishment of Hell Jahannam.

4. Life on Earth and in Paradise Jannah is based on Allaah and family and friends.

The teaching in the Quran is that life on earth and in heaven will be based on Allaah and spouse and children and family and descendants and friends and not on 72 virgins.

Quran 17:32 Koran 17:32 And do not come near to (situations that would lead to) unlawful sexual intercourse; certainly it is an immoral and an evil way (of life).

Quran 52:21 Koran 52:21 And those who believe and their descendants who follow them in faith, We (Allaah) shall cause their descendants to join them (in Paradise Jannah) and We (Allaah) do not deprive them of (the consequences of) their deeds. Every person is responsible for what they earned (of the reward or the punishment from their deeds).

5. Women in Paradise. Women in Jannah. Women in the Garden of Eden.

Resurrected women in Paradise Jannah are called houris meaning “fair ones” in Quran 44:54, Quran 52:20, Quran 55:72, Quran 56:22 and Quran 78:33 and because they are a new creation and made to be virgins in Quran 55:56, Quran 55:74 and Quran 56:36 Allaah shall bring them together with a companion in marriage in Quran 44:54 and Quran 52:20 and they will then live with their spouses, family, children, descendants and friends together in Quran 52:21 forever in Quran 44:56.

6. Life on Earth and in Paradise Jannah is based on families living together.

Humans both male and female are resurrected in Quran 30:11, Quran 30:27 and Quran 40:8 so that their spouses, family, children, descendants and friends can live together in Quran 52:21 as a new creation in Quran 56:35 on the Day of Resurrection.

7. Children in Paradise. Children in Jannah. Children in the Garden of Eden.

Children are also resurrected and young boys are mentioned around the men in Quran 56:17 and Quran 76:19 and the girls are most likely in pavilions in Quran 55:72 around the women.

8. Resurrection in Paradise. Resurrection in Jannah. Resurrection in the Garden of Eden.

The resurrection of humans as a new creation in Paradise Jannah is explained in Quran 30:11, Quran 30:27, Quran 40:8, Quran 37:47-37:49, Quran 44:54-44:56, Quran 52:20-52:21, Quran 55:54-55:60, Quran 55:68-55:74, Quran 56:15-56:18, Quran 56:22-56:24, Quran 56:35-56:38, Quran 76:17-76:19 and Quran 78:31-78:33.

B. The resurrection of righteous humans and jinn.

The resurrection of humans and jinn as a new creation in Paradise Jannah means humans and jinn shall all be resurrected as virgins.

Quran 30:11 Koran 30:11 Allaah begins creation (of you in this world) and then He (Allaah) repeats it (with a new creation of you in the hereafter) and then to Him (Allaah) you shall be returned (resurrected from death to life on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement).

Quran 30:27 Koran 30:27 It is He (Allaah) who begins creation (of you in this world) and then He (Allaah) repeats it (with a new creation of you in the hereafter) and it is easy for Him (Allaah, to do). To Him (Allaah) belongs the best description (the best of attributes) in the heavens and the earth. He (Allaah) is the greatest (in importance to every creation) and the wisest.

Quran 40:8 Koran 40:8 (The angels say), “And Our Lord (Allaah) let them enter the Gardens of Eden Jannah which You (Allaah) have promised to them and whoever was righteous among their fathers and their spouses (husband and wives) and their offspring (children).

C. The life of children in Paradise Jannah.

Quran 56:15 Koran 56:15 (In Paradise Jannah the people sit) on thrones woven (with decoration).

Quran 56:16 Koran 56:16 Reclining on them (couches and), facing each other.

Quran 56:17 Koran 56:17 Circulating among them (in the hereafter where the age of humans never changes) are immortal young boys (resurrected in the hereafter with all humans in Quran 56:35-56:38).

Note 1. Humans and jinn who died as children are resurrected as immortal children.

Quran 56:18 Koran 56:18 With containers and jugs and a cup from a flowing spring (of wine).

Quran 56:24 Koran 56:24 (As) a reward for what (good deeds) they (both the resurrected males and females) used to do (of righteousness in their first life).

Quran 76:17 Koran 76:17 And there (in Paradise Jannah) they shall be given a drink in a cup that is mixed with ginger (Zanjabil).

Quran 76:18 Koran 76:18 From a spring there (in Paradise Jannah) that is called Salsabil.

Quran 76:19 Koran 76:19 And circulating among them are immortal young boys (in the hereafter where age never changes). If you see them you shall think them to be scattered pearls (eternally beautiful because they are resurrected in Quran 56:35-56:38 like the creation of new pearls in the same way as the beauty of resurrected women is described as well protected eggs in Quran 37:49. They are scattered meaning you will see many boys scattered around serving drinks)

Quran 55:72 Koran 55:72 Fair ones (women) restrained (meaning modest meaning humble in Quran 37:48 and Quran 55:5) in the pavilions

D. The life of adults in Paradise Jannah.

The life of adults in Paradise Jannah means adult humans and jinn are given the life of immortal young adults.

Humans both male and female are resurrected in Quran 30:11, Quran 30:27 and Quran 40:8 so that their spouses, family, children, descendants and friends can live together in Quran 52:21 as a new creation in Quran 56:35 on the Day of Resurrection.

Quran 40:8 Koran 40:8 (The angels say), “And Our Lord (Allaah) let them enter the Gardens of Eden Jannah which You (Allaah) have promised to them and whoever was righteous among their fathers and their spouses (husband and wives) and their offspring (children).

E. Family life in Paradise Jannah.

Family life in Paradise Jannah means the resurrection of adults and children and descendants and friends.

Quran 40:8 Koran 40:8 (The angels say), “And Our Lord (Allaah) let them enter the Gardens of Eden Jannah which You (Allaah) have promised to them and whoever was righteous among their fathers and their spouses (husband and wives) and their offspring (children).

Quran 52:20 Koran 52:20 Reclining on couches next to each other. We (Allaah) shall marry them to fair ones (the resurrected women in Quran 56:35-Quran 56:38) with (lovely) large eyes.

Note 1. Biḥūrin means “to fair ones” called Houris meaning “beautiful ones.”

F. Humans and jinn in Paradise Jannah are resurrected as sinless new creations.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a righteous man on earth, who continually does good and who never sins (meaning even the good person sometimes makes mistakes because only Allaah makes no mistakes).

Note 1. A righteous man sins many times but he is righteous because he corrects himself and returns to righteous behaviour.

Proverbs 24:16 For though the righteous person falls seven times, he will arise (and return to righteous behaviour), but the wicked stumble under adversity (and return to wicked behaviour).

Note 1. Righteous people make mistakes but they are righteous because they return to righteous behaviour.

Note 2. Righteous people learn from their mistakes to do good behaviour.

Wicked people learn from their mistakes to do wicked behaviour.

Ezekiel 18:21 But if the wicked turn from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all My commandments, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live (in Paradise), he shall not die (a never ending death in Hell fire).

Ezekiel 18:22 None of his transgressions (wrongdoing) that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for his righteousness that he has done he shall live (in Paradise).

Ezekiel 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die (a never ending death in Hell fire)? said the Lord Allaah; and not rather that he should return from his ways (of wicked behaviour), and live (in Paradise)?

Note 1. Allaah offers Paradise to everyone who abandons bad behaviour and replaces it with good behaviour because Allaah has no pleasure in sending anyone to Hell fire

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, said the LORD; though your sins be as scarlet (very great), they shall be as white as snow (completely forgiven); though they be red like crimson (very great), they shall be as wool (completely forgiven)

Note 1. Allaah forgave all the sins of Adam.

Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the man of wrongdoing (forsake) his (evil) thoughts; and let him return to the LORD (Allaah) that He (Allaah) may have mercy on them, and (to whoever turns) to our Allaah, for He (Allaah) will abundantly pardon (them who turn away from wickedness).

Hosea 14:3 (in Tanakh or Hosea 14:2 in Christian bible) Take with you words (of prayer to Allaah), and return to the LORD; say to Him (Allaah), “Forgive all (our) wrongdoing, and accept that which is good (from our good deeds in Ezekiel 18:20 – 18:23); so will we give for bullocks (sacrifice) the offering of our lips (meaning instead of offering the blood sacrifice of bullocks Allaah tells us the forgiveness of sin comes from the offering of the lips meaning ask Allaah for forgiveness and replace bad behaviour with good behaviour in Micah 6:6 – 6:8).

Note 1. Allaah does not want sacrifices but Allaah wants you to ask Him for forgiveness.

Micah 6:6 'With what shall I come before the LORD and bow myself before the most high Allaah? Shall I come before Him with burnt-offerings, with one year old calves?

Note 1. Allaah does not want sacrifices but Allaah wants you to ask Him for forgiveness.

Micah 6:7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams (as a sacrifice) and ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born (child as a sacrifice) for my wrongdoing, (my first-born who is) the fruit of my body for the sin (the wrongdoing) of my soul?'

Note 1. Allaah does not want animal or human sacrifices but Allaah wants you to ask Him for forgiveness.

Micah 6:8 It has been told to you O man, what is good and what the LORD does require of you: only to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your Allaah (in Ezekiel 18:20 – 18:23 and Hosea 6:6, Hosea 14:2 – 14:3 and 1 Kings 8:46 – 8:50 meaning the forgiveness of sin comes not from sacrifice but from asking Allaah for forgiveness and replacing bad behaviour with good behaviour)

G. Hadith stories about men striking their wife in this world and men having 72 virgins in the next world contradict the teachings in the Quran.

Quran 33:2 Koran 33:2 And follow what is revealed to you (Prophet Muhammad) from your Lord (Allaah). Allaah is aware of what you do.

..

Quran 33:28 Koran 33:28 O Prophet (Muhammad), say to your wives, “If you desire the life of the world and its adornment (instead of life with me) then come I shall provide for you and release you (from our marriage contract) in a good (honourable) manner (if you want a divorce. See Quran 4:34).

Quran 4:34 Koran 4:34 Men are the protectors of women because Allaah has bestowed some of them (the male) over others (the female) and because they (the men) support them (the women) from their wealth. Therefore righteous women are obedient (to Allaah and to their husband) and guard the unseen (their chastity) which Allaah orders them to guard. And those (wives from) whom you (men) fear their bad behaviour then (first) advise them (of what they have done), and (second, if they continue their bad behaviour then) leave them (wives to sleep alone) in the bed (so they might think about what they are doing and so that you might also think about the situation), and (if they continue their bad behaviour then thirdly Quran 33:2 "follow what is revealed to you from your Lord …” and) set forth to them (Quran 33:28 “… Say to your wives, “If you desire the life of the world and its adornment” instead of life with me “then come I shall provide for you and release you” from our marriage contract “in a good” honourable “manner” if you want a divorce). Then if they obey you do not seek against them a way (to hurt them but forgive them and show kindness to them. Fourthly see Quran 2:231, Quran 4:35 and Quran 4:128). Allaah is most high and most great (in importance to every creation. iḍ'rib means strike or set forth. In the Quran did Allaah reveal that men can strike their wives or did Allaah in the Quran set forth what men should say to their wives? Prophet Muhammad did not strike his wives after forsaking them in bed showing this is the wrong understanding of Quran 4:34. Prophet Muhammad separated himself from his wives so that they might think about what they wanted to do and so that he might also think about the situation showing this is the correct understanding of Quran 4:34 so that in Quran 4:34 iḍ'rib means “set forth” to them Quran 33:28. The Quran explains itself through verses scattered in 114 chapters which Quran 39:23 reveal you can find in verses which confirm each other and the Quran asks when you have the word of Allaah in the Quran what other report would you believe? Quran 77:50 “In what statement” words, news, reports, information, message, hadith, “after it” the verses of Allaah in the Quran, “shall they” the humans and the jinn “believe” and this is repeated and explained in Quran 7:185, Quran 25:29, Quran 25:30, Quran 31:6 Quran 39:23 and Quran 45:6. If hadith stories agree with the Quran then accept it and learn from it. If hadith stories do not agree with the Quran then reject it and also learn from it. On the Day of Judgement Allaah judges by the words in the protected Quran. On the Day of Judgement Allaah does not judge by the words in unprotected human hadith stories. The Quran is the protected word of Allaah including the words and actions of Prophet Muhammad which are described and protected by Allaah. In a similar way in the story of the vision dream of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran chapter 37 Allaah only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq and leaves no other blessings in the story of the sacrifice and this famous vision dream is remembered in the next chapter Quran chapter 38 where Allaah blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq with the vision dream in Quran 38:45 – 38:47 and shows in the next verse that Prophet Ishmael Ismail was not the son in the vision dream and Prophet Ishmael Ismail was not living with his father during the vision dream by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without his father and without the blessing of the vision dream in Quran 38:48. This is confirmed in Quran 12:6 and in Torah Genesis 22:2 “And Allaah said: Take now your son, your only son” who still lives with you, reminding him that Allaah had earlier taken Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar away from him into Allaah’s care in the desert, “whom you love” Allaah makes the test very hard by demanding his second son and reminding him that this is his only remaining son and reminding him that he already gave Allaah one son and reminding him of his love for these sons, “even” namely, that is “Isaac Ishaq and go into the land of Moriah” today in the Temple and Al-Aqsa mosque area in Jerusalem Al-Quds in Israel and Palestine; “and offer him there for a burnt-offering on one of the mountains which I Allaah will tell you of.” The proof Allaah is real is the Quran confirming the Torah Taurat is correct in Quran 2:41 “And believe in what I Allaah have revealed” in the Quran “that confirms what you already have” in the Torah Taurat and in Quran 3:93 “… Bring the Torah Taurat here and recite it as evidence if what you say is true" and in Quran 5:43 “How is it that they come to you for judgment when they have the Torah Taurat in which Allaah has already revealed to them judgment …” and Quran 5:68 “… You the Jewish people have nothing until you observe the Torah Taurat …” as explained in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ3o3ybc-KA so hold tightly to what Allaah is teaching in the Quran and beware of stories which contradict the Books of Allaah).

H. In the Quran when a martyr (like a man) is martyred (killed) in battle did Allaah say “go to his wife and tell her he will be with 72 virgins” or something else?

Allaah cares for souls in heaven not in the grave.

When the “soul” is given “a body” on the Day of Resurrection every person both the righteous and the wicked will wake up suddenly and swear in Quran 20:103, 20:104, 23:113, 30:55, 46:35 and 79:46 that the time between death and the Day of Resurrection feels like nothing but a I hour sleep or 10 hour sleep confirming what was said by the 7 sleepers in Quran 18:19 and Prophet Ezra Uzair in Quran 2:258.

Quran 2:154 Koran 2:154 And do not speak (when delivering news) of those who are killed in the cause of Allaah as being “dead”, No, they are alive (their soul is alive), but you cannot see them.

Quran 3:169 Koran 3:169 Do not think of those who are killed in the way of Allaah (meaning with faith in Allaah) as dead. No. They are alive (meaning their body died on the Earth but their soul is alive in heaven) near their Lord (Allaah) and they are given provision (because no soul can live unless Allaah has decreed it. Believers on the Earth do not be distressed. They are) -

Quran 3:170 Koran 3:170 Rejoicing in what Allaah bestowed on them of His bounty (meaning the promise of Allaah is true that although their body died on the Earth their soul is alive in heaven) and they receive good news about those who have not yet joined with them (in heaven) but are left behind (in this world meaning when every person suddenly wakes up on the Day of Resurrection swearing that death felt like nothing but a one or ten hour sleep in Quran 2:259, 18:19, 20:103, 20:104, 23:113, 30:55, 46:35 and 79:46 they will have the knowledge which Allaah said they will have) that (there will be) no fear on them and they will not grieve (in the hereafter because Allaah has decreed it so do not be distressed).

Quran 3:171 Koran 3:171 They (the souls in heaven) receive good news of favour (mercy) from Allaah and bounty (because no soul can live unless Allaah has decreed it) and that Allaah does not let go to waste the reward of the believers (meaning when every person suddenly wakes up on the Day of Resurrection swearing that death felt like nothing but a one or ten hour sleep in Quran 2:259, 18:19, 20:103, 20:104, 23:113, 30:55, 46:35 and 79:46 they will have the knowledge which Allaah said they will have so believers on the Earth do not be distressed).

Note 1. Allaah cares for souls in heaven not in the grave.

“Coming out of the grave” is another way of saying “giving the soul a body” on the Day of Resurrection when every person will wake up suddenly and swear in Quran 20:103, 20:104, 23:113, 30:55, 46:35 and 79:46 that the time between death and the Day of Resurrection feels like a I hour sleep or 10 hour sleep confirming what was said by the 7 sleepers in Quran 18:19 and Prophet Ezra Uzair in Quran 2:258.

Quran 3:172 Koran 3:172 Those who responded to Allaah and the messenger (Prophet Muhammad) after the hurt that happened to them (in the battle of Uhud) and for those who did good (behaviour) among them and feared Allaah, there is a great reward (for them in the hereafter).

Quran 40:8 Koran 40:8 (The angels say), “And Our Lord (Allaah) let them enter the Gardens of Eden Jannah which You (Allaah) have promised to them and whoever was righteous among their fathers and their spouses (husband and wives) and their offspring (children).

The revelation of Quran 3:169 - 3:171 is explained in Quran 3:172.

The news of deaths in the battle of Uhud brought great distress to the families of those who were killed.

To ease their pain Allaah revealed that there is no reason to feel distressed because Allaah cares for every soul meaning Allaah provides for its continuing existence so Allaah tells those families and friends to think of their loved ones as “rejoicing in what Allaah bestowed on them of His bounty” so that those families might be eased from their distress by knowing that “they receive good news about those who have not yet joined with them (in heaven) but are left behind (in this world meaning when every person suddenly wakes up on the Day of Resurrection swearing that death felt like nothing but a one or ten hour sleep in Quran 2:259, 18:19, 20:103, 20:104, 23:113, 30:55, 46:35 and 79:46 they will have the knowledge which Allaah said they will have) that (there will be) no fear on them and they will not grieve (in the hereafter because Allaah has decreed it so do not be distressed).

Allaah is teaching that the body of a human is dead in the grave on the Earth but their soul is raised to heaven and to the care of Allaah so believers on the Earth do not be distressed when someone dies because Allaah is caring for them.

i. Fabricated hadith 72 virgins.

The Book on Virtues of Jihad.

Regarding the Rewards for the Martyr in Paradise.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1663.

Narrated Al-Miqdam bin Ma'diykarib:

That the messenger of Allaah said: "There are six things with Allaah for the martyr.

(1) He is forgiven with the first flow of blood (he suffers),

(2) he is shown his place in Paradise (Jannah),

(3) he is protected from punishment in the grave (when he is dead),

(4) secured from the greatest terror (Hell Jahannam),

(5) the crown of dignity is placed on his head and its gems are better than the world and what is in it,

(6) he is married to seventy two wives along Al-Huril-'Ayn of Paradise,

(7) and he may intercede for seventy of his close relatives."

(Abu 'Eisa said this hadith is Hasan Sahih).

See in Sunnah.com here https://sunnah.com/tirmidhi/22/46

This hadith which has been judged by humans as Hassan (good) Sahih (authentic) is fabricated meaning it was invented after the death of Prophet Muhammad as shown below.

a. Firstly this hadith contradicts the Quran by promising 72 virgins instead of the promise of Allaah in the Quran that resurrected humans will join their spouses and family and descendants and friends.

b. Secondly this hadith mentions punishment in the grave which are fabricated hadith stories meaning they were invented after the death of Prophet Muhammad as explained below.

See. Hadith punishment in the grave. Hadith torture in the grave. Hadith torment of the grave.

https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/hadith-punishment-in-the-grave

c. Thirdly regarding intercession.

No one can enter Jannah without good deeds meaning good behaviour in the world.

Only Allaah is the judge of deeds and behaviour.

Quran 6:158 Koran 6:158 "... belief in it (Allaah and the Day of Resurrection and Judgement) shall not help any soul …. if in belief (he or she) did not earn good (by doing righteous deeds in their life). ....”

.

Quran 41:8 Koran 41:8 “For those who believe and do good deeds, for them is an everlasting reward (in Paradise Jannah).”

d. Fourthly regarding death 1.

The Quran teaches that death will not change what Allaah has decided.

Quran 22:15 Koran 22:15 Whoever thinks that Allaah shall not give him (Prophet Muhammad) help in the world and in the Hereafter (and is enraged at the thought that Allaah would support Prophet Muhammad), let them stretch a rope up to the roof and let them hang them self. Let them then see if that strategy chases away what they rage against? (No, it shall not change anything if you killed yourself because it is Allaah who decides what shall happen and whatever humans do cannot change what Allaah has decided).

Quran 4:29 Koran 4:29 All you who believe, .... do not destroy yourselves (do not kill yourself, do not commit suicide, do not kill each other). Allaah is Merciful to you.

e. Fifthly regarding death 2.

The Quran teaches that the killing of innocent people together with wicked people even unknowingly is not acceptable in the sight of Allaah.

Quran 48:25 Koran 48:25 They (the stone idol worshippers of Mecca Arabia today Makkah Saudi Arabia) are the ones who disbelieved (in Allaah) and turned you (Prophet Muhammad) away from the Sacred Mosque (“the Sacred Mosque” is l-masjidi l-harami, Al-Masjid Al-Haraam in Makkah) and your offerings (of 70 camels to Allaah for the feeding of the poor which) were prevented from reaching their place of sacrifice. (You would have been allowed to enter Makkah and fight for the sake of Allaah to worship Allaah at Allaah’s Sacred Mosque in Makkah) if it were not that there were believing men and believing women who you did not know that you may have trampled (with your offerings of 70 camels that would have killed both the believers who you did not know and the non believers because of a stampede by those animals caused by fighting that Allaah knew would occur) and so unknowingly you would have an evil deed against you, (However Allaah stopped you from entering Makkah) so that Allaah might bring to His(Allaah’s) mercy whom He (Allaah) willed (by preventing you from making sin through your actions which would have killed innocent people). If they (the believers who you did not know and the wrongdoers who had sinned against Allaah) had been apart (so that only the wrongdoers who had sinned against Allaah were present) then We (Allaah) would have punished those of them who disbelieved with a painful punishment (by allowing you into Makkah and allowing the animal stampede to occur to punish the stone idol worshippers who forbid your worship of Allaah at the Sacred Mosque Al-Masjid Al-Haraam in Makkah).

f. Sixthly regarding death 3.

The Quran teaches that the rewarded for saving one human life is so great that it is like the reward for saving all humankind.

Quran 5:32 Koran 5:32.From that time (humans were warned not to murder and) We (Allaah) decreed on the children of Israel (through the inspiration of the teachers of the Jewish Talmud and confirmed for the Muslim in Quran 6:151) that whoever kills a soul (kills a life, kills a person) it is as if he has killed all of humankind (so that humans understand the great value and preciousness of one human life and to warn humans against the great evil of killing one human soul) unless it is in retaliation for murder or for misbehaviour in the land. And whoever saves it (saves a life, saves a soul, saves a person) it is as if he has saved all of humankind (so that humans understand the great value and preciousness of one human life and to teach humans the great goodness in the saving of one human soul). Our (Allaah’s) messengers came to them (the children of Israel) with clear arguments but still after that many of them continued to commit great crimes (by killing humans unlawfully) in the land (so this is a message from Allaah to the human not to commit the great crime of killing human life but instead to work to save human life).

Note 1. In the Judgment of Allaah the saving of one human life is a great deed because in the Judgment of Allaah it is like saving every human life on the earth.

Note 2. On the Day of Judgment whoever saved a life will be rewarded with a reward fitting for a person who had saved all humankind if Allaah wills.

Note 3. On the Day of Judgment whoever destroyed a life will be punished with a punishment fitting for a person who had destroyed all humankind if Allaah wills.

Note 4. Human life is equal in the sight of Allaah. Those who save all human life are among the righteous if Allaah wills.

Note 5. Human deeds are not equal in the sight of Allaah. Those who do good deeds to all people are among the righteous if Allaah wills.

Note 6. The saving of one life in this world no matter if that person is Muslim or non Muslim or the saving of one life by guiding a person to goodness so that they are successful in the hereafter is a great deed of goodness in the sight of Allaah.

Note 7. Whoever kills a person it is a crime equal to killing all of mankind.

Note 8. Whoever saves a life has done a deed that is equal to saving all of mankind.

Note 9. Whoever kills an innocent life has committed a terrible crime in the sight of Allaah.

Quran 4:29 Koran 4:29 All you who believe, .... do not destroy yourselves (do not kill yourself, do not commit suicide, do not kill each other). Allaah is Merciful to you.

Quran 5:13 Koran 5:13 "... You shall not cease to discover treachery from them (dishonesty from their words) except for a few of them (who are honest in their word). Even though they (many among the Jews of Arabia) do that (treachery against you), (you should) pardon (forgive) their bad deeds and forgive them (like you would like Allaah to pardon your bad deeds and forgive you in the hereafter). Allaah loves those who do good (deeds to other people).

Quran 45:14 Koran 45:14 Say (Prophet Muhammad) to those who believe (in Allaah that) they (should) forgive those who do not expect the Days of Allaah (in the hereafter, meaning forgive the disbelievers, forgive the non believers, forgive the stone idol worshippers in Makkah, forgive the people who do not believe in Allaah) so that He (Allaah) may reward (the righteous) people for what they earn (in reward for the hereafter by obeying Allaah’s command that the people who believe in Allaah should forgive the people who do not believe in Allaah so that you forgive the disbelievers in your life in the same way that you wish Allaah to forgive you in the next life in the hereafter).

Note 1. “Love your neighbour” means “forgive the people who live around you” like you would like Allaah to forgive you in the hereafter.

“Love your enemy” means “forgive your enemy” like you would like Allaah to forgive you in the hereafter.

No one can forgive without love in their heart.

Love in the heart removes hate from the heart and the result is forgiveness.

Note 2. What is the benefit of forgiving an enemy? What is the benefit of forgiving a neighbour?

Allaah rewards good deeds.

Every good deed to any person is rewarded by Allaah on the Day of Judgement.

g. All hadith stories which contradict the Quran or seek to add to the Quran what is not in the Quran like “the reward of 72 virgins in Jannah” were invented after the death of Prophet Muhammad in the same way as all stories that claim “Jesus Isa is Allaah” which contradict the Gospel Injil or seek to add to the Gospel Injil.what is not in the Gospel Injil like “Trinity” were invented after the death of Prophet Jesus Isa.

Quran 77:50 Koran 77:50 In what statement (words, news, reports, information, message, hadith), after it (the verses of Allaah in the Quran), shall they (the humans and the jinn) believe?

Note 1. Quran 7:185, Quran 25:29, Quran 25:30, Quran 31:6, Quran 39:23, Quran 45:6 and Quran 77:50 asks when you have the word of Allaah in the Quran what other report would you believe?

Quran 25:30 Koran 25:30 And (on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement) the messenger (Prophet Muhammad) said, “My Lord (Allaah) my people have abandoned (deserted) this Quran (to follow false messages, false words, false news, false reports, false information, false statements, false hadith).”

Note 1. On the Day of Resurrection and Judgement Prophet Muhammad will say “My Lord my people have abandoned this Quran (to follow false messages, false words, false news, false reports, false information, false statements, false hadith).”

J. Abu Bakr explained where false hadith stories come from.

Abu Bakr who lived in the time of Prophet Muhammad shows that some hadith stories regarded as trustworthy and recited after the death of Prophet Muhammad were in fact untrustworthy hadith stories.

Hadith story 0.

It has been narrated that Aishah (the wife of Prophet Muhammad) said, my father (Abu Bakr) collected the hadīth (stories of the Messenger of Allaah), which was five hundred texts.

He spent that night so sleeplessly and restlessly that I was sad for him.

I therefore asked, ‘Are you moving restlessly due to an ailment or information that you received?’

In the morning, he asked me to fetch him the collection of hadīth that he had put with me.

When I fetched them, he set fire to them.

As I asked for the reason, he replied, ‘I anticipated that I would die while I still have this collection among which there might be reports of a man that I deemed trustworthy while he was the opposite; therefore, I would be the narrator of such false reports.’

(Recorded in 1. Al-Dhahbiy: Tadhkirat al-Huffādh 1:5,

Recorded in 2. Al-Qāsim ibn Muhammad (died in 1029 AH): al-I`tisām bi-Habl-illāh al-Matīn 1:30,

Recorded in 3. `Abd al-Ghaniy `Abd al-Khāliq: Hijjiyyat al-Sunnah 394).

If hadith you believed was true you later understood cannot be true you would not be able to sleep.

Who is the man Abu Bakr deemed trustworthy while he was the opposite meaning untrustworthy?

Abu Bakr does not name him.

The trusted man was not related to the prophet.

The trusted man is someone Prophet Muhammad trusted and therefore all Muslims trusted during the life of Prophet Muhammad.

The trusted man was invited to eat in the house of Prophet Muhammad and therefore it was thought that this trusted man had direct knowledge about the sayings of the prophet.

The trusted man did not recite hadith stories during the life of Prophet Muhammad.

The trusted man made a living reciting hundreds of hadith stories after the death of Prophet Muhammad.

The trusted man is someone who recited more than the five hundred hadith stories that Abu Bakr had collected after the death of Prophet Muhammad.

Abu Bakr could not sleep because like Muslims today he understood that many hadith stories are opposite to what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad teach in the Quran.

Any hadith story that is opposite to what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad teach in the Quran is a false hadith story.

The hadith stories collected by Abu Bakr were from a man Abu Bakr considered trustworthy.

When Abu Bakr understood that this trustworthy man was in fact untrustworthy Abu Bakr destroyed his 500 hadith story collection.

The destruction of these 500 hadith stories show that these stories where not stories that Abu Bakr heard directly from the prophet.

Abu Bakr says these stories came from a trusted man.

These stories were collected after the death of Prophet Muhammad by Abu Bakr from a man who was trusted to have direct knowledge of the sayings of the prophet because that trusted man was invited to eat with the prophet.

In the later part of the life of Abu Bakr he began to understand that these stories were untrustworthy because they were opposite of what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad teach in the Quran.

After the death of Prophet Muhammad the trustworthy man showed he was untrustworthy by inventing false hadith stories as a way to make a living.

These are hadith stories which cannot be true because they teach something that is opposite to what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad teach in the Quran.

These hadith stories are false hadith stories because they contradict the stories of Allaah and Prophet Muhammad which are protected in the Quran.

K. Umar ibn Al-Khattab explained where false hadith stories come from.

Why did Umar ibn Al-Khattab who lived in the time of Prophet Muhammad collect all hadith story books in his time and burn them?

The following hadith shows that Umar thought that hadith books were not the fairest and the straightest of Allaah’s most beloved books meaning some hadith was not fair and some hadith was not straight meaning hadith was interfering with the correct understanding of what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad say in the Quran as Muslims today also understand when they find false hadith stories which teach the opposite to what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad teach in the Quran.

Hadith story 1.

It has been narrated on the authority of al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr that Umar, after he had received news confirming that people started to hold (or write) books, denied and disliked the matter saying, ‘O people: I have been informed that you have started to hold books. Allaah’s most beloved books must be the fairest and the straightest.

Now, I order you all to bring me all the books that you hold so that I will decide about them.’

Thinking that `Umar wanted to correct and submit the books to a certain criterion, all people brought their books to him. Instead, he set them all to fire and said, ‘This is a false wish just like that of the Christians and the Jews.’

(Recorded in Abd al-Ghaniy `Abd al-Khāliq: Hijjiyyat al-Sunnah 395).

Note 1. ‘This is a false wish just like that of the Christians and the Jews’ means ‘This (human writing) is a false wish (desire) just like that of the (human writing of the) Christians and the Jews.’

The following hadith (with my comments added in the brackets) explains why Umar thought that hadith books that existed in his time were not the fairest and the straightest of Allaah’s most beloved books meaning hadith was interfering with the correct understanding of what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad say in the Quran.

Hadith story 2.

According to Ibn Sa’d, in his al-Tabaqat al-Kubra, Umar said, ‘This (hadith) is a Mishna (meaning human writings) just like that of the Christians (for example the priests who invented the idea that Jesus Isa is Allaah and Jesus Isa will return to this earth in Christian writings that are not in the Gospel Injil) and the Jews (for example the rabbis who invented the idea of the anti messiah Armilus in Jewish writings known as the false messiah the Dajjal Dijjal which is not in the Torah Taurat).’

(Recorded in Ibn Sa`d: al-Tabaqāt al-Kubrā 1:140).

See 1. When a prophet dies Satan Shaitan whispers stories that contradict the Books of Allaah.

The description of the Dajjal Dijjal is Armilus.

“… In Rome there is a splendid marble statue of a beautiful girl which god himself made in the beginning of the world. Through sexual intercourse of evil men, or even of Satan himself, with this statue, a terrible creature in human form was produced, whose dimensions as well as shape were equally monstrous.” … “Armilus is bald-headed, with one large and one small eye, deaf in the right ear and maimed in the right arm, while the left arm is two and one-half ells long.”

Reference https://jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/1789-armilus

See 2. Anti Messiah (anti Christ) is not in the Quran.

Anti Messiah (anti Christ) is not in Tanakh Jewish scripture.

Anti Messiah (anti Christ) is in Christianity.

Armilus in Judaism is not an Anti Messiah (anti Christ) but represents Romulus the founder of Rome In the Roman story of Amulius.

In Judaism Armilus represents the defeat of Rome in the end of days and was misunderstood by Christians as an anti Messiah (anti Christ) however there is no anti Messiah (anti Christ) in Tanakh Jewish scripture or in the Quran.

Hadith stories about the Dajjal in Islam are not confirmed in the Quran meaning such hadith stories were written after the death of the prophet.

See 3. A better way to understand hadith stories.

https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/a-better-way-to-understand-hadith-stories

Hadith test.

Are these hadith useful in religion?

Yes. These hadith explain where false hadith came from.

Hadith stories are false if they teach something that is opposte to the teachings of the stories of Allaah and Prophet Muhammad which are protected in the Quran.

When a prophet leaves the earth Satan Shaitan whispers false hadith stories that hide, distort and corrupt the correct understanding in the human mind of the words of Allaah and his prophet which are recorded in the Books of Allaah.

When Prophet Jesus Isa left the earth Satan Shaitan whispered “Jesus Isa is Allaah” which cannot be found in the Gospel Injil as proof that Allaah has protected the Injil of Isa the Gospel of Jesus by Mark, Matthew. Luke and John which is with the Christians today in the same way as Allaah protects the Quran which is with the Muslims today.

Hadith information.

Hadith 0. Aishah (Aishah bint Abu Bakr, born 8 BH 614 CE, died 57 AH 678 CE) wife of Prophet Muhammad.

Hadith 1. Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr.

Aishah (Aishah bint Abu Bakr, born 8 BH 614 CE, died 57 AH 678 CE) taught her nephew Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr (born 38 AH 662 CE, died 108 AH 730 CE).

Many Hadith are quoted through Qasim.

Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr was one of the seven most famous jurists in Madinah and was considered as the most knowledgeable among them.

He was highly influential in disseminating early traditions of hadith, fiqh (jurisprudence) and tafsir (exegesis) of the Qur'an.

Hadith explaining why hadith books were destroyed by Umar ibn Al-Khattab were narrated by Aishah to her nephew Al-Qāsim ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr.

Hadith 2. Ibn Sa`d (Abu Abd Allaah Muḥammad ibn Sa‘d ibn Mani‘ al-Baṣri al-Hashimi katib al-Waqidi, born 168 AH 784 CE, died 230 AH 845 CE) was trained by teachers such as Al-Waqidi who was a biographer writing about Prophet Muhammad and an early historian who wrote some of the earliest and most detailed history books on Islam.

Ibn Sa’d wrote the Book of the Major Classes (Kitab Tabaqat Al-Kubra) about the life of Prophet Muhammad, his Companions and Helpers, and those who fought at the Battle of Badr and about the following generation called the Followers who received their traditions from the Companions.

L. Conclusion.

72 virgins is not the reward in Paradise Jannah.

The reward in Paradise Jannah is that Allaah shall marry resurrected men and resurrected women again to their spouses and marry those who were unmarried and give their spouses the most beautiful appearance and purify the soul so that both you and your spouses and your children and your descendants are sinless youthful immortal virgin creations.

Allaah tells us that life on earth and in heaven will be based on Allaah and spouses and children and family and friends and descendants and good behaviour meaning for all eternity no one in Paradise Jannah will desire 72 virgins because what Allaah has promised in the Quran which is life with your immortal spouses and immortal children and immortal descendants and immortal friends will be sufficient and no one will desire anything for eternity except what Allaah promised in the Quran which Allaah shall give to them.

Quran 40:8 Koran 40:8 (The angels say), “And Our Lord (Allaah) let them enter the Gardens of Eden Jannah which You (Allaah) have promised to them and whoever was righteous among their fathers and their spouses (husband and wives) and their offspring (children).

When a dishonest story teller makes a living by telling stories for his meals he will need to invent stories because no one is interested to hear the same story twice.

a. When Abu Bakr in J above who lived in the time of Prophet Muhammad wrote down hadith stories that were recited to him after the death of Prophet Muhammad by a man who visited him during meal time he began to understand that some of these stories contradicted what Allaah teaches in the Quran and one night he could not sleep because he understood that it was impossible for him to trust stories which came from a man who recited stories contradicting the Quran and therefore he destroyed his collection of 500 hadith stories so that Allaah in the hereafter will not blame him for passing on false hadith stories.

b. When Umar ibn Al-Khattab in K above who lived in the time of Prophet Muhammad heard that after the death of Prophet Muhammad people were writing hadith stories he ordered everyone who had written books or had a book of hadith to give it to him and he destroyed all those books in a fire because like Muslims today he found that many of these stories contradicted what Allaah teaches in the Quran meaning they were false hadith stories and he did that so that Allaah in the hereafter will not blame him for allowing the passing on of false hadith stories during his period of leadership of the Muslim community.

Quran 17:88 Koran 17:88 Say (Prophet Muhammad), "If humans and jinn (such as Satan Shaitan) came together to help each other to produce something like the Quran, they could not do it."

Note 1. In the hereafter Satan Shaitan might boast he obeyed Quran 17:88 by whispering hundreds of false hadith stories which teach the opposite to what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad teach in the Quran.

Note 2. Men and women will be resurrected as new creations meaning as virgins.

Prophet Muhammad did not tell people that when a man dies tell his wife that he is with 72 virgins in Jannah.

The hadith 72 virgins in Paradise Jannah contradicts the description of the family life of men and women and children resurrected in Paradise Jannah described in Quran 30:11, Quran 30:27, Quran 40:8, Quran 37:47-37:49, Quran 44:54-44:56, Quran 52:20-52:21, Quran 55:54-55:60, Quran 55:68-55:74, Quran 56:15-56:18, Quran 56:22-56:24, Quran 56:35-56:38, Quran 76:17-76:19 and Quran 78:31-78:33 meaning this hadith story was invented by story tellers after the death of Prophet Muhammad and repeated by people who were deceived to believe false hadith stories.

c. What does the Quran say about information that contradicts Allaah in the Quran?

Quran 77:50 Koran 77:50 In what statement (words, news, reports, information, message, hadith), after it (the verses of Allaah in the Quran), shall they (the humans and the jinn) believe?

Note 1. Quran 7:185, Quran 25:29, Quran 25:30, Quran 31:6, Quran 39:23, Quran 45:6 and Quran 77:50 asks when you have the word of Allaah in the Quran what other report would you believe?

Do not twist inside your mind the meaning of the words of Allaah in the Quran to agree with hadith stories.

The Quran is the protected word of Allaah including the words and actions of Prophet Muhammad which are described and protected by Allaah.

d. When Allaah tells Prophet Muhammad what happened after his death what will Prophet Muhammad say to Allaah on the Day of Judgement?

Quran 25:30 Koran 25:30 And (on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement) the messenger (Prophet Muhammad) said, “My Lord (Allaah) my people have abandoned (deserted) this Quran (to follow false messages, false words, false news, false reports, false information, false statements, false hadith).”

Note 1. On the Day of Resurrection and Judgement Prophet Muhammad will say “My Lord my people have abandoned this Quran (to follow false messages, false words, false news, false reports, false information, false statements, false hadith).”

e. Misguidance.

When people are taught how to twist the words of Allaah to agree with hadith stories which teach the opposite to what Allaah teaches in the Quran instead of teaching people to ask the question "does this hadith story agree with the teachings of Allaah in the Quran" the result can be people who follow the mistakes of other people instead of people who are led by the teachings of Allaah in the Quran.

In Christianity some people follow the story that Jesus is Allaah which is not in the four Gospels however because they believe something from outside the Gospel they twist every verse in the Gospel to show that Jesus is Allaah even when Jesus prays to Allaah in all the four Gospel Injil and even when Allaah says in the Gospel that both Jesus and the angels do not know "the hour" because only Allaah knows

In Islam some people follow hadith stories which teach the opposite to what Allaah and Prophet Muhammad teach in the Quran as shown in the reference below and like some Christians they also twist every verse of Allaah in the Quran to agree with some thing that came from outside the Quran.

In this way some Christians and some Muslims have beliefs which contradict the teachings of Allaah in the Gospel and in the Quran.

f. The danger of believing false stories.

People who believe false stories invented by other humans after the death of a prophet can be made to believe other false stories invented by humans as seen in some Christian cults and some Muslim cults who followed stories supporting their killing of people and their killing of themselves.

g. Education.

Teaching people to ask "is this story contradicting the teachings in the books of Allaah" will help protect people from other people who are following false stories instead of following the stories in the books of Allaah.
