 Comment 1. Fighting came after Muslims had been persecuted and expelled from their homes in Makkah only because Muslims had abandoned stone idol worship and adopted the worship of Allaah.

Quran 60:9 Verse 60:9 Allaah forbids you from those (people) who fight against you because of your religion and drive you out from your homes and who support others in driving you out. Whoever turns to them (by showing support for their unjust actions) are wrongdoers.

Comment 2. Allaah does not forbid you from people like Jews, Christians, stone idol worshippers and any person who do not fight against you because of your religion and did not drive you out from your homes.

Quran 60:8 Verse 60:8 Allaah does not forbid you from those (people like Jews, Christians, stone idol worshippers and any person) who do not fight against you because of your religion and did not drive you out from your homes. You should show them kindness and deal justly with them. Allaah loves those who act justly.

Comment 3. Allaah can make your enemy become your friend.

Quran 60:7 Verse 60:7 It may be that Allaah shall create love between you and those with whom you have been enemies (through a peace treaty or with people from the enemy coming to Allaah or with people from the enemy not opposing Allaah). Allaah is mighty, forgiving and merciful.

Comment 4. Allaah does not forbid friendship because only through friendship can the word of Allaah reach every human in the world.

Comment 5. Those who do not understand that the Quran has verses of history that include history about fighting translate the Quran as if those commands are for me and you to fight today. 

No those are not commands for me and you to fight today.

They are commands given by Allaah to Prophet Muhammad addressed to those people who lived in the time of the prophet 1400 years ago.

We need to know that the verses about fighting are connected to issues that occurred in history.

Quran 61:6 Koran 61:6 Verse 61:6 Ayah 61:6 Ayat 61:6 Aya 61:6 And (mention) when Prophet Jesus Isa son of Mary Mariam said, “Children of Israel, I am the messenger of Allaah to you, confirming what was (revealed) before me in the Torah Taurat, and bringing good news of a messenger (the comforter, Prophet Muhammad) who shall come after me (Jesus Isa), whose name shall be highly praised (by those who recognise that he is the prophet of Allaah who Prophet Jesus Isa said shall come after him in the Injil Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26 – 15:27, 16:7 – 16:15). But when he (the comforter, Prophet Muhammad) showed them clear proofs (from Allaah), they (who do not recognise him) said, “This is only a deception” (a fraud, while those who recognise him called him Ahmed “the one who is highly praised” because he confirmed the Good News from Allaah of the life after death which is “a comfort” to the world). 

Comment 1. Ahmed in the Quran.

In Quran 61:6 Ahmed means “the one who is highly praised.” 

Quran 7:157 says the prophet is mentioned in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil meaning he is mentioned by fulfilling the requirements of a prophet as described in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil.

Comment 2. The Quran confirms the Torah Taurat and explains the story of Jesus in the Gospel Injil.

Quran 61:7 Koran 61:7 Verse 61:7 Ayah 61:7 Ayat 61:7 Aya 61:7 And who is more wrong than the person who invents a lie about Allaah (by claiming the Quran is not from Allaah) while he (the person who is abusing the prophet) is invited (by Prophet Muhammad) to submission (to Adonai Allaah Elohim God G-d HaShem Jehovah Yahweh YHWH)? (Islam has two meanings, the general meaning is submission in Quran 61:7. The specific meaning of Islam is revealed 3 months before the death of Prophet Muhammad in the farewell speech of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 5:3) Allaah does not (correctly) guide the people who do what is wrong. 

Quran 61:8 Koran 61:8 Verse 61:8 Ayah 61:8 Ayat 61:8 Aya 61:8 They (the people who do wrong, the stone idol worshippers) wish to extinguish the light (the Quran of guidance) of (the religion of) Allaah with their mouths (by telling lies against Allaah) but Allaah shall perfect His (Allaah’s) light no matter how much the disbelievers dislike it.

Quran 61:9 Koran 61:9 Verse 61:9 Ayah 61:9 Ayat 61:9 Aya 61:9 It is He (Allaah) who has sent His (Allaah’s) messenger (Prophet Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth so that He (Allaah) may make it (the truth about Allaah) prevail over the religion of all of them (who do not believe in Allaah meaning in one creator so that people are guided to goodness and not guided to the evil of stone idol worship) however much the polytheists (those who pray to creations which they claim have the same power to hear prayer as Allaah) may dislike it (and this mission given 1400 years ago by Allaah to Prophet Muhammad was achieved in Makkah and Arabia today Saudi Arabia when the stone idol worshipping authority over the people which had persecuted Muslims was replaced by an authority over the people worshipping Allaah without the persecution of Muslims or Non Muslims. This is similar to the commands in the Torah Taurat where Allaah guided the children of Israel to replace the authority of stone idol worship in Canaan today in Israel and Palestine with an authority over the people worshipping Allaah). 

Comment 1. Allaah sent the Quran so that Allaah may make the truth about Allaah prevail in every religion.

The Quran is guidance for stone idol worshippers and Jews and Christians in the following way. 

1. The Torah in Hebrew is revealed to the Hebrew speaking people.

2. The Quran in Arabic is revealed to the Arabic speakers in Arabia.

3. The Quran introduced Allaah to the stone idol worshippers in Arabia and advised them to turn away from stone worship.

4. The Quran tells the Jews to follow the Torah and tells the Christians to follow the Gospel.

5. The Quran reminds the Jews that they will be judged according to their observance of the Sabbath and their behaviour in other words obey the Torah as the Torah commands it must be obeyed by every generation without adding or subtracting from its commandments.

6. The Quran tells the Christians to judge by the Gospel and in the Gospel Jesus said the Torah will never change and must be followed forever meaning people who came after Jesus such as Paul who said Jesus told him in dreams that the Torah is outdated and will soon fade away could not have been Jesus because it contradicts what Jesus said in the Gospel,

7. The Quran says Jews who follow the Torah Taurat and Christians who follow the Gospel Injil and also believe the Quran will receive a double reward in the hereafter,

8. The Quran is saying if the Jews correctly obey the Torah Taurat and if the Christians correctly obey the Gospel Injil then they will be successful in the hereafter.

9. The Quran tells Muslims to observe the Quran which confirms the Tanakh Jewish scripture and explains the story of Jesus in the Gospel as the proof that the Quran is truthful and as the proof Allaah is real.

10. The Quran says that Allaah could have made humans to be one community of Allaah but instead created more than one community of Allaah and gave laws to each community of Allaah and told them to strive for all that is good so that Allaah can show who were the best in behaviour within and between each community of Allaah.

Comment 2. Invitation to an agreement between Muslims, Christians and Jews. 

Quran 3:64 Verse 3:64 Say, “O People of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians) let us come to an agreement between you and us (Muslims), that we shall worship no one but Allaah, and that we shall ascribe no partner to Him (meaning, there is only one Allaah, we pray only to our creator the one Allaah and no one else, not to sons, not to saints, not to any idol), and that none of us shall take others for Lords instead of Allaah.” And if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted to Him (Allaah).”

Quran 61:10 Koran 61:10 Verse 61:10 Ayah 61:10 Ayat 61:10 Aya 61:10 All you who believe, Shall I show you a (way of) living that shall save you from a painful punishment (in the Hereafter)?

Quran 61:11 Koran 61:11 Verse 61:11 Ayah 61:11 Ayat 61:11 Aya 61:11 You should believe in Allaah and His (Allaah’s) messenger and you should strive for the cause of Allaah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you if you only knew (the reward and success it brings to you in the Hereafter).

Comment 1. Those who do not understand that the Quran has verses of history that include history about fighting translate the Quran as if those commands are for me and you to fight today. 

No those are not commands for me and you to fight today.

They are commands given by Allaah to Prophet Muhammad addressed to those people who lived in the time of the prophet 1400 years ago.

We need to know that the verses about fighting are connected to issues that occurred in history.

Comment 1. Allaah shall forgive your sins if you did righteous deeds.

Without righteous deeds there is no forgiveness.

Quran 6:158 Verse 6:158 "... belief in it (Allaah and the Day of Resurrection and Judgement) shall not help any soul …. if in belief (he or she) did not earn good (by doing righteous deeds in their life). ....” 

Quran 41:8 Verse 41:8 “For those who believe and do good deeds, for them is an everlasting reward (in Paradise Jannah).”

Quran 61:13 Koran 61:13 Verse 61:13 Ayah 61:13 Ayat 61:13 Aya 61:13 And (Allaah shall give you) another (thing) that you love which is help from Allaah (in this world) and an imminent victory. Give the good news (Prophet Muhammad) to the believers.
