Understanding the Gospels.

Throughout the Gospel Jesus is teaching the Torah in the same way as every prophet in the Jewish Scripture is teaching the Torah.

The word of Allaah in the Gospel is everything that does not contradict the Tanakh Jewish Scripture.

Whatever contradicts the Tanakh Jewish Scripture did not come from Jesus but from the unknown writers of the Gospels.

The Gospels are a test to show who understands Allaah in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture as described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

Introduction and what is the Gospel Injil?

Allaah gave the good news of Isaac Ishaq twice to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.

Nowhere in the Quran did Allaah say anyone changed the written word of Allaah because the proof Allaah is real is that no one can change His written word in Quran 3:3, Quran 4:136, Quran 6:34, Quran 6:115, Quran 10:64, Quran 18:27 and Quran 30:30 except with their spoken words meaning in conversation for example in the story of the sacrifice of the son of Abraham Ibrahim no one could change the word of Allaah except in conversations when some Muslims said the son to be sacrificed was Ishaq and other Muslims said the son to be sacrificed was Ismail.

Notice that no Muslim changed the word of Allaah in the Quran except with their mouth in conversation and in the same way no Jew can change the word of Allaah in the Tanakh Jewish scripture except with their mouth in conversation.

Allaah gave the good news of Isaac Ishaq twice to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.

In the story of Isaac Ishaq, Allaah gave Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim twice.

The first time Allaah gave Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim is in Quran 37:101 which is the good news of the birth of Isaac Ishaq.

The second time Allaah gave Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim is in Quran 37:112 which is the good news that Allaah stopped the sacrifice of Isaac Ishaq and for a second time gave Isaac Ishaq to Abraham Ibrahim.

Why does Allaah say sacrifice your only son Isaac Ishaq in the Torah Taurat?

When Allaah says sacrifice your only son Isaac Ishaq in the Torah Taurat Allaah is reminding Prophet Abraham Ibrahim that he already gave one son to Allaah when he long ago sent Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar into the desert.

Allaah tests Prophet Abraham Ibrahim a second time by saying sacrifice your only son Isaac Ishaq who still lives with you.

Will Prophet Abraham Ibrahim refuse Allaah and say but I already gave you Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar?

Will Prophet Abraham Ibrahim refuse Allaah and say but you promised future generations for me from Isaac Ishaq?

Will Prophet Abraham Ibrahim sacrifice Isaac Ishaq who is the only son still living with him after he had already given Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar to Allaah in the desert?

Will Prophet Abraham Ibrahim give Allaah both his sons?

When Prophet Abraham Ibrahim shows he will obey Allaah then Allaah stops the test and fulfils His promise because Allaah always fulfils His promise.

In the story of sacrifice in Quran chapter 37 Allaah only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq. Allaah has left no other blessing.

Prophet Isaac Ishaq is called the good news son in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in Quran chapter 11, 15, 19, 29, 37 and 51.

When the Good News son is not named four times in Quran 15:53, 15:54, 15:55 and in Quran 51:28 it is Prophet Isaac Ishaq and this is the same in the story of the sacrifice in Quran 37:101 where the good news son is also not named because it is always the name Allaah gives to Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

When the Good News son is named five times in Quran 11:69, 11:71, 11:74 and Quran 29:27, 29:31 it is Prophet Isaac Ishaq and this is the same in the story of the sacrifice in Quran 37:112 where the good news son is also named Prophet Isaac Ishaq because Good News is always the name Allaah gives to Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran.

Allaah names Prophet Isaac Ishaq as the good news son 9 times in Quran chapter 11, 15, 19, 29 and 51.

Allaah names Prophet Isaac Ishaq four times in Quran chapter 37 twice as the good news son and twice by name.

In the story of the sacrifice in the Quran Allaah only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq. Allaah has left no other blessing.

In the story of the vision dream of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran chapter 37 Allaah only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq and leaves no other blessings in the story of the sacrifice and this famous vision dream is remembered in the next chapter Quran chapter 38 where Allaah blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq with the vision dream in Quran 38:45 – 38:47 and shows in the next verse that Prophet Ishmael Ismail was not the son in the vision dream and Prophet Ishmael Ismail was not living with his father during the vision dream by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without his father and without the blessing of the vision dream in Quran 38:48.

This is confirmed in Quran 12:6 and in Torah Genesis 22:2.

In two famous vision dreams in the Quran Allaah blesses both the father and the son with the vision dream of the sacrifice of the son in Quran chapter 38 after the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37 and Allaah blesses both the father and the son with the vision dream of the bowing of the Sun and the Moon and the eleven stars towards one star in Quran chapter 12 as proof the Quran confirms the Torah Taurat meaning as proof humans do not have the power to change the word of Allaah in the Quran and in the Torah Taurat because if humans could change the word of Allaah it would be proof that Allaah did not exist.

Before Ishmael Ismail was born Allaah promised his mother Hagar Hajar that Ishmael Ismail would have many descendants in Torah Genesis 16:8 - 16:11 meaning before the story of the sacrifice Allaah promised that both Ishmael Ismail and Isaac Ishaq would have children.

Allaah told Abraham Ibrahim in a vision dream to sacrifice Isaac Ishaq (in Quran 38:45 – 38:47 and Quran 12:6) who was the only son living with him (in Torah Genesis 22:2) meaning Ishmael Ismail was not living in Canaan today Palestine and Israel during.the vision dream (in Quran 38:48 where Ishmael Ismail is not blessed with the vision dream and Ishmael Ismail is not blessed with his father meaning the only son living with Abraham Ibrahim during the vision dream is Isaac Ishaq in the blessing of the vision dream in Quran 38:45 – 38:47 and Quran 12:6).

Abraham Ibrahim passed the test because he did not reject Allaah by saying “I will not sacrifice Isaac Ishaq because you promised future generations for me from Isaac Ishaq” or “I will not sacrifice Isaac Ishaq because I already gave you Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar in the desert” instead Abraham Ibrahim showed that he would give both his sons to Allaah and this is when Allaah stopped the sacrifice and gave Isaac Ishaq a second time to Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:112.

The choice of a first born animal or a first born son in a sacrifice does not apply to Allaah because it is Allaah who has commanded this test of faith and it is Allaah who can choose anyone to be the sacrifice.

Abraham Ibrahim did not have a choice about who to sacrifice but he could only obey or disobey what Allaah commanded him to do in this test.

Allaah stopped the test when Abraham Ibrahim showed that after he had given his first son Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar to Allaah in the desert he was willing to sacrifice Isaac Ishaq who was his only son who was still living with Abraham Ibrahim in Canaan today in Israel and Palestine during the vision dream.

By stopping the sacrifice Allaah saved Isaac Ishaq and fulfilled the promise that Isaac Ishaq would have children as proof that Allaah always fulfils His promises and to teach humans that Allaah forbids human sacrifice in Quran 17:31, Quran 16:57 - 16:59, Quran 81:8 - 81:9, Leviticus 18:21, Leviticus 20:3, Deuteronomy 12:31, Deuteronomy 18:10, Deuteronomy 24:16, Hosea 6:6, Jeremiah 7:22 - 7:23, Psalm 40:7 in Tanakh Jewish Scripture or Psalm 40:6 in Christian Bibles and Micah 6:7 - 6:8.

The proof that Allaah is real is the Quran and the Torah Taurat confirming and explaining each other because "Whoever has no faith in His (Allaah’s) Books then he has strayed far away (from Allaah, Quran 4:136)."

Most early Muslims believed the son to be sacrificed is Isaac Ishaq.

Most later Muslims believed the son to be sacrificed is Ishmael Ismail.

This means most early Muslims believed no one changed the Torah Taurat which confirms Quran 2:40 (telling the Jewish people to observe their covenant with Allaah which is the Torah Taurat forever) and Quran 2:41 (telling the Jewish people that the Quran confirms what is with the Jewish people in the Torah Taurat) and most later Muslims believed the Torah Taurat was changed which contradicts Quran 2:40 (telling the Jewish people to observe their covenant with Allaah which is the Torah Taurat forever) and Quran 2:41 (telling the Jewish people that the Quran confirms what is with the Jewish people in the Torah Taurat).

What is the Gospel? What is the Injil?

Jesus did not write anything because everything Jesus taught by his mouth was already written in the Tanakh Jewish scripture meaning Jesus did not add or subtract from what is in Tanakh Jewish scripture.

The four Gospels are four reports about Jesus meaning Jesus never wrote anything and what he said was passed by mouth until it was written many years later.

Quran 5:68 says observe the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and Quran 5:47 tells Christians to judge by the Gospel Injil (not by the other books in the New Testament because what Paul teaches contradicts what Jesus is teaching in the Gospel) meaning whatever in the Gospel Injil is confirmed in the Torah Taurat came from Jesus and whatever contradicts the Torah Taurat came from the unknown writers who are traditionally called Mark, Matthew, Luke and John in a test from Allaah described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone (for example Mark, Matthew, Luke and John) who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

Jesus in the Gospel says the Tanakh will exist forever and will never change (and this is the reason that Jesus did not add or subtract from what is in the Tanakh Jewish scripture) meaning anything in the Gospel which contradict the Tanakh did not come from God or from Jesus.

For example when Paul in his letter says the Torah is old and will soon disappear this is opposite to what Jesus is teaching in the Gospel where the Torah is forever and will not change and must be followed forever by the Jewish people in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3.

Every prophet after Moses including Prophet Jesus and Prophet Muhammad reminded the Jewish people to observe the Torah forever as the Torah has commanded them and as the Gospel and Quran reminds them..

Sometimes the Gospel contradicts the Tanakh however some publishers of the Gospels have added foot notes explaining problem verses in the past therefore Christians in the present or in future can add foot notes to show verses that cannot be true such as the claim that Jesus descended from David because it contradicts the Tanakh (where a person can only inherit a tribe like David biologically through the father and not by adoption and not through the mother and not by choice) which Jesus said will never change and must be followed forever in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3.

In the Quran Prophet Jesus did not claim he inherited the House of David because it is impossible for anyone without a biological father to inherit a tribe in Judaism.

There are no names on the original earliest four Gospel Injil manuscripts meaning the names Mark, Matthew, Luke and John were all added later meaning no one knows who wrote them.

Quran 5:68 says observe the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and Quran 5:47 tells Christians to judge by the Gospel Injil meaning whatever in the Gospel Injil is confirmed in the Torah Taurat came from Jesus and whatever contradicts the Torah Taurat came from the unknown writers who are traditionally called Mark, Matthew, Luke and John in a test from Allaah described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone (for example Mark, Matthew, Luke and John) who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

1. In Quran 4:157 Jesus was not killed on the cross confirms the words of Jesus 3 days after the crucifixion in Gospel of John 20:17 “I have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah, meaning I have not yet died)” ...

2. In Quran 4:158 Jesus was saved on the cross with sleep when his soul ascended to heaven in Quran 39:42 and the way Allaah would save Jesus on the cross is foreshadowed before the time of the crucifixion in the Gospel Injil as follows.

Gospel of Mark 5:39 "... The child is not dead but sleeping",

Gospel of Matthew 9:24 "... For the maiden meaning the girl has not died but sleeps ..."

Gospel of Luke 8:52 "... She is not dead but sleeping."

Gospel of Luke 8:54 – 8:55 “…"Damsel meaning girl, wake up!" And her spirit returned, and she stood up at once, and he ordered that she be given something to eat. (This was proof that she was alive and not dead and that she was a physical body who could eat food and not a resurrected spiritual body that does not need food meaning she was a physical body who woke up after sleep and not a spiritual body which was resurrected after death as described by Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:35 and 1 Corinthians 15:44).

3. In Quran 5:75 and Quran 3:144 is the natural death of Jesus 2000 years ago which is mentioned three days after the crucifixion in Gospel of John 20:17 Jesus says to her (Mary Magdalene), "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah, meaning I have not yet died); but go to my brothers (my disciples), and tell them: 'I am ascending to my Father (Allaah, meaning Jesus will die like every human dies as proof to his people that he is human meaning do not let a miracle make you believe I am not a human like you) …”

4. In Quran 19:36 Jesus said “Allaah is my Lord and your Lord” meaning Jesus is teaching his people that he is not Allaah and this is said 3 days after the crucifixion in Gospel of John 20:17 Jesus says to her (Mary Magdalene), "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah, meaning I have not yet died); but go to my brothers (my disciples), and tell them: 'I am ascending to my Father (to my creator Allaah, meaning Jesus will die like every human dies as proof to his people that he is human meaning do not let a miracle make you believe I am more than a human like you) and your Father (to your creator Allaah); to my Allaah (to my Lord) and your Allaah (to your Lord).”

5. Allaah chose the Israelites and gave them the Torah Taurat and told them to observe the Sabbath Day in all their generations forever meaning Allaah decreed Judaism and the Torah Taurat forever so that the following might be fulfilled.

a. The Torah Taurat shows which verses in the Gospel Injil confirm the Torah Taurat meaning they came from Jesus and which verses in the Gospel Injil contradict the Torah Taurat meaning they came from Mark, Matthew, Luke or John in a test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

b. In the same way Allaah is testing Muslims in every generation in the story of the sacrifice in a test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

Non-canonical books like the Book of Enoch quoted in the Christian Bible are rejected in Judaism because in Tanakh angels always obey Allaah meaning there are no fallen angels in Tanakh Jewish scripture.

Jesus did not write anything because everything Jesus taught by his mouth was already written in the Tanakh Jewish scripture meaning Jesus did not add or subtract from what is in Tanakh Jewish scripture as Allaah commanded for the Jewish people in Torah Deuteronomy 4:2.

Torah Deuteronomy 4:2 You (the children of Israel) shall not add to the word which I (Allaah) command you, neither shall you diminish (take away) from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your Allaah which I (Allaah) command you.

The four Gospels are four reports about Jesus meaning Jesus never wrote anything and what he said was passed by mouth until it was written many years later by four unknown people called Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.

The Quran tells the Christian to observe the Gospel and judge by the Gospel (not by the other books in the Christian New Testament Bible because what Paul teaches contradicts what Jesus is teaching in the Gospel) meaning anything from non-canonical books did not come from Jesus but came from Mark, Matthew, Luke or John in a test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

Palestine and Israel in the time of Jesus after the death of Herod the Great 2000 years ago from 644 BH - 636 BH (4 BCE- 6 CE 4 BC- 6 AD).

After the death of Herod the Great who was the King of Judea, four of his relations administered territory with the approval of the Roman Empire.

llllllllllllllll  Ludaea Province of the Roman Empire administered by Herod Archelaus from 644 BH – 636 BH (4 BCE – 6 CE 4 BC – 6 AD).

llllllllllllllll Territory administered by Herod Antipas.

llllllllllllllll Territory administered by Herod Philip ll (Herod Philip the second).

llllllllllllllll. The cities of Jabneh, Azotas, Phaesalis were administered by Salome I (Salome the first was the sister of Herod the Great).

lllllllllllllll  Autonomous rule in Decapolis (The ten cities).

llllllllllllllll The Roman Empire Province of Syria.

Thanks to Wikipedia.

Herod the Great died in 644 BH (4 BCE 4 BC).

The 3 sons and sister of Herod the Great ruled after him.

In 636 BH (6 CE 6 AD 6) Rome (the Roman Empire Capital today in Italy) abolished the rule of Herod Archelaus and formed the Province of Judea today southern Israel and Palestine by joining together Judea (the biblical Kingdom of Judah), Samaria, and Idumea (the biblical territory of Edom).

The other sons of Herod the Great continued their rule.

Philip the Tetrarch (Herod Philip II, Herod II, Herod Philip I, Philip ben Herod, Herod Philip), ruled Batanea (southern Syria), with Trachonitis (Argob, Al-Lajat, Lajat, Lejat and Lajah, El-Leja in southern Syria), as well as Auranitis (Hauran, Hawran, Houran, the northern cities of the Decapolis in southwest Syria) until 606 BH (34 CE 34 AD 34). They were later included in the Roman Province of Syria.

Herod Antipas (Herod Antipater) ruled Galilee (north of Judea. Galilee is today in northern Israel) and Perea (east of the Jordan river today in Jordan) from 644 BH to 601 BH (4 BCE to 39 CE, 4 BC to 39 AD).

Introduction.

1. The first sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

How could Jesus not be dead on the cross as revealed by the prophet after Jesus?

How could Jesus be alive on the cross as revealed by the prophet after Jesus?

The prophet after Jesus revealed that Jesus was not crucified to death and Jesus was not killed but Jesus fainted to sleep and his soul was raised to heaven.

After 3 days the soul of Jesus was returned to the sleeping body of Jesus and he awoke just as every human awakes when their soul is returned from heaven after sleep.

The soul of Jesus is in heaven now which means that Jesus later died a natural death when his soul was raised by the angel of death to heaven and to Allaah as every human soul is decreed to be raised.

Only the soul of a human is raised to heaven.

The human body is not needed in heaven.

The human body is only needed on the Earth.

The child is not dead but sleeping.

See Gospel of Mark 5:39, 12:36 (comments 14, 15 and 16) and 15:37 – 15:38 comments, 16:12 comments.

Three days after the crucifixion Jesus told Mary Magdalene to tell all the disciples that Jesus did not die on the cross in Gospel of John 20:17 “I have not yet ascended to the Father” meaning Allaah saved the life of Jesus on the cross with a miracle which made people think Jesus was dead on the cross in the same way Allaah made people believe a sleeping person was dead in Gospel of Mark 5:39, Gospel of Matthew 9:24 and Gospel of Luke 8:52.

The soul of every human ascends to Allaah during sleep and when they die (Quran 39:42).

When Jesus says I (Jesus) have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah) Jesus is not talking about sleep because every human ascends to Allaah every night during sleep therefore the meaning is Jesus has not yet died meaning Allaah saved the life of Jesus on the cross with sleep (Gospel of Mark 5:39, Gospel of Matthew 9:24, Gospel of Luke 8:52, Quran 4:158 and Quran 39:42) meaning Jesus did not die on the cross with death but was saved on the cross with sleep which looked like Jesus was dead and in this way Allaah saved the life of Jesus meaning no one killed Jesus (Gospel of Luke 8:54 – 8:55 and Quran 39:42) meaning no one crucified Jesus to death (Quran 4:157) meaning Jesus was not sacrificed but was saved from death with sleep in Quran 4:158 and Quran 39:42 for the same reason Allaah saved the son of Abraham from death in a test of the faith in Allaah of Abraham and Jesus.

When Jesus says "I (Jesus) am ascending to my Father (Allaah) and your Father (Allaah)" it means Jesus will die like every human dies meaning Jesus died a natural death at the end of his life 2000 years ago (Quran 3:144 and Quran 5:75) as proof Jesus is human and as proof Jesus is not Allaah.

Gospel of John 20:17 Jesus says to her (Mary Magdalene), "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah); but go to my brothers (my disciples), and tell them: 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father; to my Allaah and your Allaah.'"

Note 1. After the crucifixion Jesus says do not hold on to me to see if I am really alive, I have not yet ascended to my Father meaning I am not yet dead meaning I am really alive meaning I am not a ghost.

2. The second sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

What did Jesus say that would identify the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus?

Jesus gives one exact sign of a prophet so that sign must also apply to the prophet that will follow after Jesus.

A prophet is not without honor, except in his home town and among his relatives, and in his house.

See Gospel of Mark 6:4 comments.

3. The third sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

How does the prophet after Jesus show that Jesus is not Allaah?

How do the Torah, Gospel and Quran confirm that Jesus cannot be Allaah?

The prophet after Jesus revealed that Jesus is not Allaah.

Allaah is not a human and Allaah does not resurrect in the form of a human.

Allaah is not in the form of a human because the belief that a human is Allaah is called idol worship which Allaah has forbidden for all time in the Torah.

See Gospel of Mark 6:14 comments.

4. The fourth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

Where is proof from Allaah that Muhammad is the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus?

Where is proof that Allaah has blessed Prophet Muhammad?

Where is proof that Allaah has blessed the Quran?

Where is proof that Allaah has blessed the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, Al-Quds?

The second house of Allaah that was destroyed 37 years AFTER Jesus to confirm the warnings given by Jesus was rebuilt and established as the Al-Aqsa mosque 73 years AFTER the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15, to show Allaah’s confirmation of the last prophet of Allaah.

The Second House of Allaah in Jerusalem, Al-Quds in Judea today Israel and Palestine was destroyed as predicted by Jesus in the Gospel.

The existence of the Al-Aqsa mosque built on the destroyed Second House and First House of Allaah on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Al-Quds in Palestine today in Israel and Palestine is proof from Allaah that the Quran is the word of Allaah and that Muhammad is the prophet of Allaah who came after Jesus.

Allaah confirmed the prophet after Jesus by permitting the building of the Al-Aqsa mosque on the Holy ground of the First and Second Temples of Allaah in Jerusalem (Al-Quds), Palestine, today Israel and Palestine.

See Gospel of Mark 12:9 comments.

5. The fifth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

What will the next prophet after Jesus reveal about the return of Jesus?

The Gospel and the Quran reveal that Jesus will return on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement as every human is decreed to return.

There is nothing about a second coming of Jesus to the Earth in the Gospel and the Quran because every human is given one life on the Earth and a second life in the Hereafter.

Jesus said do not believe anyone who says that Jesus is returning to the Earth.

See Gospel of Mark 13:6 (13:5 – 13:6, 13:21 – 13:23), 13:26 and 14:62 comments.

6. The sixth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

What will the next prophet after Jesus reveal about the time of the Day of Resurrection?

The Gospel and the Quran reveal that Jesus and Muhammad do not know the time of the Day of Resurrection because only Allaah knows.

Jesus said do not believe anyone who says they know the time of the Day of Resurrection.

See Gospel of Mark 13:32 comments.

7. The seventh sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

The next prophet after Jesus revealed that Allaah does not forsake humans when a human calls out to Allaah.

Why did Jesus say, “My Allaah, my Allaah, why have you forsaken me?”

The Good News that the next prophet after Jesus delivered was that the Most Merciful Allaah saved Jesus when Jesus asked Allaah, “My Allaah, my Allaah, why have you forsaken me?”

My Allaah, my Allaah, why have you forsaken me?

See Gospel of Mark 15:34 comments.

8. The eighth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

Where is the proof that the next prophet after Jesus has arrived?

Jesus said that those who believe in Allaah will be able to do many things in the name of Prophet Jesus but today no one can drink deadly poison and live as a sign of their faith in Allaah.

The Gospel of Mark 16:17 and 16:18 is the sign that the new prophet mentioned in Gospel of John 14:16 has arrived because today no human has the ability to drink deadly poison as a proof of their faith in Allaah because the days of the prophets has ended meaning the prophet after Jesus has come and left the final word of Allaah on the earth forever in the Quran revealing that Jews and Christians who follow their Book and also believe the Quran shall receive a double reward in the hereafter in Quran 28:54, Quran 34:37 and Quran 57:28.

Jews who follow the Tanakh Jewish scripture and believe the Quran are correctly observing the Torah Taurat.

Christians who follow the Gospels and believe the Quran are correctly observing the Gospel Injil.

Muslims who follow the Quran so that it agrees with the Tanakh Jewish scripture and the Gospel Injil are correctly observing the Quran.

Today no one can drink deadly poison and live as a sign of their faith in Allaah.

See Gospel of Mark 16:18 comments.

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:3.

Gospel of Mark 6:4 And Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his home town and among his relatives, and in his house."

Comments:

1. The second sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

What did Jesus say that would identify the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus?

What did Jesus say that would identify the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus?

A prophet is not without honor, except in his home town and among his relatives, and in his house.

In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15 Jesus helps to identify the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him by revealing that a prophet is not without honor, except in his home town and among his relatives, and in his house.

The Quran reveals that Prophet Muhammad was rejected by most of the people in his home town including his tribe and his relatives to such an extent that he fled to a nearby town where he was accepted.

Quran 8:30 Koran 8:30 Remember when those who disbelieved (in Allaah) plotted (at the meeting of the chiefs in the idol worshipper council in Mecca, Arabia today Saudi Arabia) against you (Prophet Muhammad, about whether) to restrain you or to kill you or to evict you (from Mecca), they made (their) plans but Allaah also planed (by commanding you Prophet Muhammad to leave Mecca) and Allaah is the best of planners.

2. The Quran confirms the Gospel where the prophet after Jesus is the last of the prophets of Allaah.

The Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15 reveal that the revelations of the prophet after Prophet Jesus shall stay in the world forever.

The Quran reveals that Prophet Muhammad is the seal (the last) of the prophets of Allaah therefore Allaah’s revelations in the Quran will remain in the world forever as confirmed by the Gospel.

Gospel of John 14:16 And I (Prophet Jesus) shall pray to the Father (Allaah) and he shall give you another Comforter (another messenger, another prophet) so that he may abide with you forever (this is the last Prophet with the last revelation of guidance from Allaah that shall come after Prophet Jesus has left the earth and when it comes it shall be left to stay with humans forever);

Quran 33:40 Koran 33:40 Prophet Muhammad is not the father of any man among you (meaning after the death of Prophet Muhammad no person can claim to inherit religious leadership of the Muslims based on their relationship with Prophet Muhammad as a way to mislead humans away from what Prophet Muhammad has revealed), but he (Prophet Muhammad) is the messenger of Allaah and the Seal (the closure) of the Prophets (of Allaah on this Earth meaning Prophet Muhammad is the end of the Prophets of Allaah on this Earth meaning after the death of Prophet Muhammad no prophet will be sent to this earth so that no person can claim to be a prophet as a way to mislead humans away from what Prophet Muhammad has revealed. When something is sealed it is ended and finished and closed. The time of the prophets on this earth ended and finished and closed with the death of Prophet Muhammad. Quran 33:40 confirms the warning from Allaah 2000 years ago that was delivered by Prophet Jesus Isa "not to believe anyone who says Prophet Jesus Isa has returned to this earth" in the Injil of Isa by Mark Gospel of Mark 13:5 -13:6 and 13:21 – 13:23 where Allaah warns that Satan Shaitan "will deceive many to believe that Prophet Jesus Isa has returned to this earth." In Quran 33:40 prophets are prohibited from coming to this earth after the death of Prophet Muhammad. There is nothing in the Quran about the Mahdi Mehdi or Dajjal Dijjal or the return of Prophet Jesus Isa to this earth because it contradicts the word of Allaah in the Gospel Injil and in the Quran. Satan Shaitan cannot change the protected Books of Allaah. Satan Shaitan can only hide and distort and corrupt the word of Allaah in the human mind by whispering false hadith stories that contradict the Books of Allaah. The deception of Satan Shaitan is so good that many people cannot see any contradiction between such false hadith stories and the words of Allaah in the Quran) and Allaah is aware of all things. (Allaah saved the life of Prophet Jesus Isa with sleep in Quran 4:157 and Quran 4:158 making everyone believe Jesus Isa was dead on the cross because his body did not move and Allaah returned the soul of Jesus Isa to this earth to wake up the sleeping body of Jesus Isa three days after the crucifixion in Quran 39:42 so that Prophet Jesus Isa could deliver the message in the Gospel of John 20:17, Quran 5:72, Quran 5:117 and Quran 19:36 that Jesus Isa is not Allaah by saying "Allaah is my Allaah and your Allaah" meaning "Allaah is my Father and your Father" meaning Allaah is my Creator and your Creator meaning Allaah is my Master and your Master meaning Allaah is my Lord and your Lord as proof that no one had killed Jesus Isa on the cross or crucified Jesus Isa to death on the cross until the natural death of “Jesus Isa and Mary Maryam who both use to eat food” meaning they both died 2000 years ago in Quran 5:75 and in Quran 3:144 where “the messengers before Prophet Muhammad have died” meaning Jesus Isa is dead because Jesus Isa is the messenger before Prophet Muhammad. In Quran 7:6 Allaah shall question the messengers of Allaah and in Quran 5:117 Prophet Jesus Isa will testify to Allaah on the Day of Judgement that Prophet Jesus Isa died only one time when he lived with the children of Israel 2000 years ago in Judea today in Israel and Palestine where he was raised only one time by the angel of death as confirmation of the truthfulness of both the Quran and the Gospel Injil which both confirm that Allaah saved the life of Jesus Isa on the cross and that Jesus Isa after the crucifixion told the people that Jesus Isa is not Allaah and continued to tell them Jesus Isa is not Allaah until his natural death 2000 years ago in Judea today in Israel and Palestine. All the fabricated hadith stories about Prophet Jesus Isa returning to this earth in the time of the Mahdi Mehdi and the Dajjal Dijjal all contradict both the Quran and the Gospel Injil. These fabricated hadith stories are proof of the truth of the warnings from Allaah in the Gospel Injil not to believe anyone who says Jesus Isa has returned to this earth in the Injil of Isa by Mark Gospel of Mark 13:5 -13:6 and 13:21 – 13:23 and the truth of Quran 33:40 where Allaah has told humans that the time of the prophets of Allaah on this earth is sealed meaning closed meaning no prophet will be allowed to come to this earth after the death of Prophet Muhammad. The Quran confirms the Gospel Injil meaning Quran 33:40 confirms the Injil of Isa by Mark Gospel of Mark 13:5 -13:6 and 13:21 – 13:23 as proof that no one can change the written word of Allaah. Fabricated hadith stories about Jesus Isa returning to this earth contradict the Quran and the Gospel Injil and show how Satan Shaitan only has power to distort hide and corrupt the meaning of the written words of Allaah inside the human mind. Satan Shaitan gave the same deception to Christians in the false hadith story that Jesus Isa is Allaah which contradicts everything that is in the four Injil of Isa Gospel of Jesus by Mark, Matthew, Luke and John that is with the Christians today as proof that Allaah has protected the Gospel Injil which is with the Christians today because no one can change the written word of Allaah. Humans who live for 100 years think they have more wisdom than Satan Shaitan who has deceived for millions of years. The deception of Satan Shaitan is so good that some people cannot see any contradiction between what Satan Shaitan has whispered in unprotected false hadith stories and what is said in the protected Books of Allaah the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran which are with all humans today. Some people believe false hadith stories about Jesus Isa returning to this earth and other people believe false hadith stories that Jesus is Allaah and some people do not believe all the Books of Allaah the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran which are with all humans today. Satan Shaitan whispers to people in every religion “do not believe any book except your book” because Satan Shaitan knows that people who have no faith in all the Books of Allaah that are with all humans today are the easiest people for Satan Shaitan to deceive and this is confirmed in Quran 4:136 where Allaah has warned that whoever has no faith in Allaah’s Books has strayed far away from Allaah. In this way Allaah shows who has faith that Allaah has protected all His Books that are with all humans today and who believe that the books of Allaah have been corrupted except their own book. The proof of Allaah is that the Torah Taurat with the Jews today and the Gospel Injil with the Christians today and the Quran with the Muslims today in Quran 3:3 are protected as confirmed in Quran 6:115 and Quran 10:64. Those in every religion who believe only their Book is protected and all other humans have corrupted Books unknowingly give the proof that Allaah does not exist because Allaah did not protect His word in all the Books of Allaah which are with humans today contradicting Quran 2:41, Quran 3:93, Quran 5:43, Quran 5:47, Quran 5:48 and Quran 5:68 as explained in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ3o3ybc-KA ).

Gospel of Mark 6:5 And he was never able to do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people; he did heal them.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:5.

Gospel of Mark 6:5 And he (Jesus) was never able to do any miracles there (because those people had no faith), except lay his hands on a few sick people (who had faith and); he (Jesus) did heal them.

Why was Jesus not able to do many miracles in his home town?

1. Prophet Jesus is not Allaah so Jesus could only do what Allaah allowed Jesus to do.

2. Allaah would not allow anyone to benefit from a miracle unless they believed in Allaah with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their strength.

3. In the home town of Jesus most people did not believe and therefore Allaah did not allow them the benefit of miracles except for a few who believed.

Gospel of Mark 6:6 And he was amazed at their unbelief. And he went around the villages in a circuit teaching.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:6.

Gospel of Mark 6:6 And he (Jesus) was amazed at their unbelief (disbelief). And he (Jesus) went around the villages in a circuit teaching (the people).

Jesus sends out the twelve.

Gospel of Mark 6:7 And calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two, and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits,

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:7.

Gospel of Mark 6:7 And calling the Twelve (disciples of Jesus) to him (Jesus), he (Jesus) began to send them (his 12 disciples) out two by two (in groups of two people), and he (Jesus the prophet and messenger and messiah sent by Allaah) gave them (the disciples of Jesus) authority over the unclean (evil) spirits (as Allaah through the Holy Spirit commanded Jesus to do),

What does “he gave them authority over the unclean spirits” mean?

The twelve were the twelve apostles (followers, disciples) of Jesus.

Jesus gave the twelve apostles authority over the unclean spirits as Allaah had commanded Jesus to do.

Allaah commanded Jesus through the Holy Sprit.

The Holy Spirit from Heaven reveals Allaah’s word to Allaah’s messenger on the Earth.

Angels are a creation.

Angels are created by Allaah.

Angels do what Allaah has commanded them to do in the creation.

The Holy Spirit is the angel messenger of Allaah sent by Allaah to reveal the word of Allaah to the human messenger of Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 6:8 and gave orders to them: that they should take nothing for the trip except a staff only; no bread, no bag, nothing in the money belt,

Comment:

What is a staff?

A staff is a walking stick.

Gospel of Mark 6:9 but only the sandals already tied on; also not to put on two tunics.

Comment:

What is a tunic?

A tunic is a sleeveless garment that reached down to the knees.

Gospel of Mark 6:10 And he further said to them, "Wherever you enter into a house, there stay up until when you leave that place.

Gospel of Mark 6:11 And whatever place does not receive you nor will they listen to you, leaving there, shake off the dust under your feet, as a testimony to them."

Gospel of Mark 6:12 And going forth, they proclaimed that people should repent.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:12.

Gospel of Mark 6:12 And going forth, they (the disciples of Jesus) proclaimed that people should repent (to Allaah for their sins).

Prophet Jesus called on people to repent to Allaah for their sins by telling people to pray to Allaah for forgiveness and to forgive each other just as they would like Allaah to forgive them.

See Gospel of Mark 6:14 comments.

Gospel of Mark 6:13 And many demons they expelled, and many sick ones they anointed with oil and healed.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:13.

Gospel of Mark 6:13 And many (evil) demons they expelled (from human bodies), and many sick ones they (the disciples of Jesus) anointed with oil and healed.

John the baptizer beheaded.

Comment:

1. What is death?

Allaah has decreed that every human must die.

Death is the sign of a human.

Death is the sign of every creation.

2. What does “the soul is alive after death” mean?

What does “the soul is alive in heaven” mean?

In the Transfiguration the spirit of Elijah and Moses appeared briefly on the earth to talk with Jesus as Allaah willed.

The bodies of Elijah and Moses are buried in the earth but the souls of Elijah and Moses are alive in heaven under Allaah’s care. See Gospel of Mark 9:2 – 9:13.

Gospel of Mark 6:14 And Herod the king heard, for his name had become well known, that some were saying, "John the Baptizer has been raised from the dead; that is why miraculous powers are at work in him."

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:14.

Gospel of Mark 6:14 And Herod the king heard, for his name (Jesus) had become well known, that some were saying, "John the Baptizer has been raised from the dead; that is why miraculous powers are at work in him (Jesus)."

1. The third sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

How does the prophet after Jesus show that Jesus is not Allaah?

How do the Torah, Gospel and Quran confirm that Jesus cannot be Allaah?

How does the prophet after Jesus show that Jesus is not Allaah?

How do the Torah, Gospel and Quran confirm that Jesus cannot be Allaah?

Allaah is not a human and Allaah does not resurrect in the form of a human.

Allaah is not in the form of a human because the belief that a human is Allaah is called idol worship which Allaah has forbidden in the Torah.

Jesus said another prophet will come after him in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

Jesus helps to identify the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him by supporting the revelations of the next prophet who revealed that Jesus is not Allaah by showing in the Gospel of Mark 6:14 comments that if a prophet was resurrected it would be human and not Allaah resurrected in the form of a human.

2. Who is John the Baptizer?

John the Baptizer is also known as John the Baptist, Prophet John and John the Baptiser.

3. When people heard the stories of the miracles they did not know Jesus so some though the man who did those miracles was John the Baptist resurrected from the dead.

4. People said Prophet John has been resurrected from the dead so does that mean the children of Israel though Prophet John is Allaah in a human form?

No, it means that the children of Israel believed that Allaah had resurrected the human Prophet John from death back to life.

4-1. Allaah is not in the form of a human.

Allaah is not in the form of a human because the belief that a human is Allaah is called idol worship which Allaah has forbidden in the Torah.

Torah Deuteronomy 5:7 (The First commandment from Allaah) You shall have no other gods but Me (The one Allaah).

(Note 1. The First commandment of Allaah means that only Allaah has the power to hear prayer because this power belongs to Allaah and no one else has this power except Allaah the creator. The created that are either living or dead have no power to hear prayer).

Torah Deuteronomy 5:8 (The Second commandment from Allaah) You shall not make any graven (man-made image, image carved on any surface such as on wood and stone and metal and glass, engraved images such as those made by scratching or cutting to make an) image (for worship or in a place of worship), even any image that looks like anything that is above you in heaven or that is on the Earth, or that is in the water or under the Earth.

(Note 1. The Second commandment of Allaah means that only the invisible Allaah has the power to hear prayer and anything that can be seen has been created by Allaah and is a creation of Allaah. It is not Allaah).

Torah Deuteronomy 5:9 You shall not bow down to them (any man made image) nor serve them (meaning do not direct pray to such an image, do not direct worship to such an image) because I the Lord your Allaah am a jealous Allaah (meaning pray to one Allaah only) and I give punishment to the father (who disobeys this command) and also to his children (who disobeys this command) and also to the third generation and to the fourth generation of them (the children of Israel) that hate me (by disobeying this command). (Continued in Torah Deuteronomy 5:10)

(Note 1. The Third commandment of Allaah means that Allaah has forbidden the use of images during prayer or in the presence of prayer).

(Note 2. The Third commandment of Allaah says that those that hate Allaah shall not keep these commandments).

Torah Deuteronomy 5:10 - And showing mercy to the thousandth generation of them that love Me (Allaah) and keep My commandments.

(Note 1. The Third commandment of Allaah continues stating that those that love Allaah shall keep these commandments. If humans lived for 100 years then the thousandth generation of humans would be in 100,000 years.

Allaah made clear that no person can cancel the first three commandments given by Allaah to Prophet Moses and confirmed by both Prophet Jesus and Prophet Muhammad.

4-2. Allaah is not a human in the Torah.

Allaah in the Torah is one Allaah.

Prophet Moses revealed Allaah in the Torah.

Torah Deuteronomy 6:4 (Prophet Moses said) Hear (listen) O (all the children of) Israel: the LORD our Allaah, the LORD is one (Allaah).

Torah Deuteronomy 6:5 And you shall love the LORD your Allaah with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might (strength).

Torah Leviticus 19:18 (And Allaah spoke to Prophet Moses saying) You shall not take vengeance (revenge, retaliation, punishment), nor bear any grudge (complaint, resentment) against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as (you would love) yourself: I am the LORD (Allaah and this I have commanded).

Torah Numbers 23:19 (Allaah said, through the month of Balaam) “Allaah is not a man, that He should lie, neither (is He) the son of a man, that He should repent. When He has said (something) shall He not do it? Or when He has spoken, shall He not make it good...."

(Note 1. Allaah said “He is not the son of a man”, (so how can he have a son)?

Only what Allaah has created has children.

Allaah is not created.

Allaah is the creator.

The idea of Allaah having children came from the days when the statues of gods in the form of humans were worshipped in the Roman Empire.

4-3. Allaah is not a human in the Gospel.

Allaah in the Gospel is one Allaah.

Prophet Jesus confirmed that Allaah in the Torah is the same Allaah in the Gospel.

Gospel of Mark 12:29 Jesus answered, "Primary is this: 'Hear, O Israel, Yahweh is our Allaah, Yahweh alone."

(Note 1. This verse is also written “The first commandment is this: “Hear, O (all the children of) Israel, The LORD is our Allaah, The LORD is one (Allaah).”

Gospel of Mark 12:30 And you shall love Yahweh your Allaah with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.'

(Note 1. This verse is also written; And you shall love the LORD your Allaah with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.'

Gospel of Mark 12:31 Second most is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Gospel of Mark 12:32 And the Torah scholar said to him, "Well done, Teacher. It is on true basis you have said, that there is one, and there is no other but him;

4-4. Allaah is not a human in the Quran.

Allaah in the Quran is one Allaah.

Prophet Muhammad revealed that Allaah in the Quran is the same Allaah in the Gospel and in the Torah.

Quran 112:1 Koran 112:1 Say, “He (the Lord) Allaah is One (the only one who is single, unique and undividable).”

Quran 112:2 Koran 112:2 “(On) Allaah (the single, unique and undividable one) all (creations) depend.”

Quran 112:3 Koran 112:3 He (Allaah) never gave birth nor was He (Allaah) born (because Allaah is the One single, unique and undividable creator who always existed and shall always exist).

Quran 112:4 Koran 112:4 And there is nothing that is comparable to Him ((Allaah) because only Allaah is the single, unique and undividable One).

Quran 3:3 Koran 3:3 It is He (Allaah) who has sent down the Book (the Quran) to you (Prophet Muhammad) with truth, confirming what came before it (in the Gospel and in the Torah). And He (Allaah, is the one who) sent down the Torah and the Gospel -

Quran 3:4 Koran 3:4 – in the past, as guidance to humans. And He (Allaah) has sent down the judgements between right and wrong. ….”

Quran 29:46 Koran 29:46 And do not argue with the People of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians) except in the best way (by using good words and in a good manner), except with those of them that are wrongdoers. And say, “We (Muslims) believe in what has been revealed to us (Muslims in the Quran) and revealed to you (the Jews in your Torah and the Christians in your Gospel). Our (Muslim) Allaah and your (Jewish and Christian) Allaah is (the same) one (Allaah) and to Him (Allaah, the creator of every creation) we have submitted (ourselves as believers in Him the one and only Allaah).”

Quran 5:45 Koran 5:45 (And in the Torah) We (Allaah) gave all the laws, the life for the life, the eye for the eye, the nose for the nose, the ear for the ear, the tooth for the tooth, these are the laws of retaliation for giving wounds that are equal to what were unjustly inflicted. Whoever forgoes it (Whoever gives the mercy of not retaliating) shall be rewarded by (Allaah) cancelling some of the sins of the person (that had the right to retaliate but did not retaliate but instead they followed in the way of Allaah’s recommended mercy). Whoever does not judge by what Allaah has revealed are wrong doers.

Quran 45:14 Koran 45:14 Say (Prophet Muhammad) to those who believe (that) they (should) forgive those who do not expect the Days of Allaah (in the hereafter, meaning forgive the disbelievers, forgive the non believers, forgive the stone idol worshippers in Mecca, forgive the people who do not believe in Allaah) so that He (Allaah) may reward (the righteous) people for what they earn (in reward for the hereafter by obeying Allaah’s command that the believers among the humans forgive the disbelievers among the humans in this life in the same way that believing humans in this life wish Allaah to forgive the believers in the next life).

(Note 1. Later verses that Allaah revealed in the Quran during a time of war with stone idol worshippers in Mecca, Arabia today Saudi Arabia do not cancel the revelations Allaah revealed earlier in the Quran just as the verses that Allaah revealed in the Torah during a time of war with stone idol worshippers in Canaan today Israel and Palestine do not cancel the revelations Allaah revealed earlier in the Torah.

All of Allaah’s verses carry a message of wisdom for humankind.

Some verses give guidance in times of war and other verses give guidance in times of peace.

The correct interpretation of each verse in the Books of Allaah gives knowledge and wisdom and guidance to whoever Allaah wills.

Gospel of Mark 6:15 But others were saying, "He is Elijah." And still others were saying, "He is a prophet, as though one of The Prophets."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:15.

Gospel of Mark 6:15 But others were saying, "He is Elijah (the prophet who has returned to the earth)." And still others were saying, "He (Jesus) is a prophet, as though one of The Prophets."

1. What does “Prophet Elijah is the messiah” that many Jews were expecting mean?

1-1. What does “Prophet Elijah is the Messiah” mean?

Messiah means the anointed one.

1-2. What does “the anointed one” mean?

The anointed one means the one who has been separated from all others to a position such as the position of a king.

1-3. What does “Prophet Elijah is the messiah” that many Jews were expecting mean?

Prophet Elijah is the one who has been separated from all others to a position serving Allaah (as a prophet).

1-4. What task did Allaah give to Elijah in the service of Allaah?

Allaah anointed Elijah as a prophet of Allaah.

2. Who is John the baptizer?

Elijah is the prophet that the Jews believe will announce the coming of the Messiah.

In the Gospel, John the baptizer is a spiritual representation of Elijah and John anoints Jesus as the Messiah which is confirmed by the Holy Spirit Angel Gabriel and the created voice of Allaah in the Gospel of Mark 1:1 – 1:13.

In the Gospel of Mark 9:13, Jesus said that Elijah came (spiritually in the form of John the baptizer) and the Jews (meaning, King Herod who was the King of the Jews) did to him whatever they wished to do to him as described in the Gospel of Mark 6:14 – 6:29.

In the Gospel, the soul of Elijah and Moses in physical bodies and the created voice of Allaah appear to Jesus and his three companions in the Transfiguration as a confirmation from the Kingdom of Allaah to the humans on the Earth that Jesus is a truthful prophet, messenger and messiah as described in the Gospel of Mark 9:1 – 9:13.

Gospel of Mark 6:16 But when Herod heard this, he kept saying, "John, the man I beheaded, has been raised from the dead!"

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:16.

Gospel of Mark 6:16 But when (King) Herod heard this, he kept saying, "John (the Baptizer), the man I beheaded (killed), has been raised from the dead!"

1. Who was Herod?

Herod or Herod the Great was appointed King of Judea by the Roman Empire.

Judea is the mountainous southern part of Israel today Israel and Palestine.

King Herod considered himself Jewish but King Herod was not considered to be Jewish by the practicing Jews of Judea who wanted Jewish law instead of Roman law or by the nationalist Jews of Judea who wanted independence from Roman rule or by the Pharisees which were the dominant Jewish sect in Judea.

King Herod the Great lived from 715 BH – 644 BH (73 BCE – 4 BCE, 73 BC – 4 BC).

When Herod the Great died his descendents ruled with the authority of the Roman Empire.

2. How did people know which prophet was really from Allaah in the time of the Torah?

King Herod said “John, the man I beheaded, has been raised from the dead.”

If Prophet John had been killed by King Herod then that was proof to the Jews that John was not a prophet from Allaah because Allaah revealed in the Torah that a false prophet who speaks in the name of Allaah shall die.

Torah Deuteronomy 18:20 But the Prophet that shall speak a word presumptuously in My name (in the name of Allaah), which I (Allaah) have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.

3. King Herod believed that Prophet John was resurrected.

The person doing so many miracles was Jesus but his name was unknown to most people and so it was believed by some that he was John the Baptist resurrected.

To believe that a person is alive after death is proof that person did not die and therefore was not killed.

The Gospel of Mark 6:16 shows how just as Prophet Jesus would later be thought to have died on the cross so to it was thought that Prophet John had died by beheading.

When John the Baptizer was thought to be alive because of the reports of miracles (which were actually being done by Jesus, a man whose name was not known to many) it became proof that John the Baptizer had not been killed.

In the same way after the crucifixion of Jesus he was later seen alive three days later as proof that no one killed him.

This was proof at the time of the Torah for those who only had the Torah to judge the signs that show a real prophet from a false prophet.

4. How does the Quran confirm that John and Jesus were prophets of Allaah?

4-1. The Quran reveals how Allaah kills a false prophet.

The Quran reveals if a false prophet is killed by a human or by Allaah.

Quran 69:43 Koran 69:43 (The Quran is) a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds (of humans and jinn).

Quran 69:44 Koran 69:44 And if he (Prophet Muhammad) were to invent any sayings in Our (Allaah’s) name,

Quran 69:45 Koran 69:45 We (Allaah revealed to Prophet Muhammad by the Holy Spirit Angel Gabriel) would have seized him (Prophet Muhammad) by the right hand -

Quran 69:46 Koran 69:46 And We (Allaah revealed to Prophet Muhammad by the Holy Ghost Angel Gabriel) would have cut off his (Prophet Muhammad’s) Aorta (the artery of his heart and given him death).

Quran 69:47 Koran 69:47 And not one of you (humans) could have prevented Us (Allaah revealed to Prophet Muhammad by the Holy Spirit Angel Gabriel) from (punishing) him (Prophet Muhammad).

4-2. Cutting the Aorta results in immediate death so the death Allaah gives to a false prophet is sudden and immediate and unexpected.

4-3. The death that is given by humans is either slow or delayed or expected.

4-4. The death of a prophet from the hand of humans is not a sign of false prophets.

The deaths that were reported for John and Jesus were expected which reveals that those deaths were not unexpected deaths caused as a sign from Allaah but they were expected deaths caused by the hands of humans.

The Quran reveals that the death of a prophet from the hand of humans is not a sign that they were false prophets.

4-5. There was no Quran at the time of Prophet John and Prophet Jesus.

There was no Quran at the time of Prophet John and Prophet Jesus and so the sign from Allaah where people incorrectly though others had seen John the baptizer after his death and later people had seen Prophet Jesus after his death was believed to be a sign from Allaah that Prophet John was a truthful prophet from Allaah and that Prophet Jesus was a truthful prophet and a messenger from Allaah because some people believed that both Prophet John and Prophet Jesus did not die.

4-6. The Torah was the only guide to judge who was a true prophet in the time of Prophet John and Prophet Jesus.

The Quran was not necessary for people in earlier times that only had the Torah in the time of John the baptizer and Prophet Jesus to have correctly understood the signs of a real prophet because for them to see a person after death is proof that person did not die and therefore was not killed.

5. What is death?

Quran 3:169 Koran 3:169 Do not think of those who are killed in the cause of Allaah (with faith in Allaah) as dead. They (their souls) are alive with their Lord (Allaah) and they receive His (Allaah’s) provisions.

6. There is no problem in using the words dead and killed.

Quran 3:144 Koran 3:144 “… If he (Prophet Muhammad) dies or is killed shall you then turn back to disbelief (in Allaah and return to idol worship)? The person who turns back to disbelief does no harm to Allaah. Allaah shall reward those who are grateful (those who are thankful for the blessing of faith in Allaah).

7.  What does “Do not think of those who are killed in the cause of Allaah (with faith in Allaah) as dead?

Quran 3:144 means try not to feel extremely sad when a person dies but remember that their soul is alive under Allaah’s care.

8. What happened to Prophet John, Prophet Jesus and to every human at the end of their life?

Only the soul of a human is raised to heaven.

The human body is not needed in heaven.

The human body is only needed on the Earth.

Quran 4:158 Koran 4:158 Allaah raised him (the soul of Prophet Jesus) up to Himself (Allaah, and the soul of Prophet Jesus) is in heaven under the care of Allaah who is the creator of every soul and the carer of every soul). Allaah is all powerful (able to do all things) and He (Allaah) is all wise.

9. When is the soul of a human removed from their body?

9-1. The soul of a human is raised to heaven and Allaah during sleep.

Quran 6:60 Koran 6:60 He (Allaah) is the one who takes your souls at night (when you sleep) and He (Allaah) knows everything you did in the day. Then He (Allaah) wakes you again so that your life span may be fulfilled. Afterward (in the Hereafter) to Him (Allaah) you shall return. Then He (Allaah) shall inform you of what you used to do.

9-1. The soul of a human is raised to heaven and Allaah at the end of a human life on the earth.

10. The life of every prophet and messenger of Allaah has ended on the earth.

10-1. Every prophet and messenger before Prophet Muhammad has died.

The soul of every human before Prophet Muhammad was raised to heaven and to Allaah.

The messengers of Allaah before Prophet Muhammad have passed away.

The messengers of Allaah before Prophet Muhammad have died.

Do not say Prophet Muhammad is dead, his soul is alive and in Allaah’s care in heaven.

Do not say the messengers of Allaah are dead, their souls are alive and in Allaah’s care in heaven.

Do not say the prophets of Allaah are dead, their souls are alive and in Allaah’s care in heaven.

Quran 3:144 Koran 3:144 Prophet Muhammad is no more than a messenger and many (meaning all) messengers have passed away before him. If he (Prophet Muhammad) dies or is killed shall you then turn back to disbelief? The person who turns back to disbelief does no harm to Allaah. Allaah shall reward those who are grateful (those who are thankful for the blessing of faith in Allaah).

10-2. The end of the life of Prophet John on the earth.

The death of Prophet John on the earth.

Do not say Prophet John is dead, his soul is alive and in Allaah’s care in heaven.

Quran 19:15 Koran 19:15 So peace be on him the day he (Prophet John) was born and the day he dies and the day when he shall be raised alive (in the Hereafter).

10-3. The end of the life of Prophet Jesus on the earth.

The death of Prophet Jesus on the earth.

Do not say Prophet Jesus is dead, his soul is alive and in Allaah’s care in heaven.

Quran 19:33 Koran 19:33 “And so peace is on me the day I (Prophet Jesus) was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive (in the Hereafter).”

10-4. No human is immortal.

Quran 21:8 Koran 21:8 And We (Allaah) did not give them (the prophets of Allaah) bodies that did not eat food nor were they (the prophets of Allaah) immortals (who would live forever).

10-5. The last of the prophets of Allaah was on the earth 1400 years ago.

Quran 33:40, Koran 33:40 Prophet Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allaah and the Seal (the last) of the Prophets and Allaah is aware of all things.

Gospel of Mark 6:17 For Herod himself, sending orders, had seized John and bound him in prison, because of Herodias his brother Philip's wife, whom he had married.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:17.

Gospel of Mark 6:17 For Herod himself, sending orders, had seized John (the Baptizer) and bound him in prison, because of Herodias his brother Philip's wife, whom he had married.

Gospel of Mark 6:18 For John had been saying to Herod, "It is not permissible for you to have your brother's wife."

Comments:

1. John the Baptizer said to King Herod "It is not permissible for you to marry your brother's wife."

Torah Leviticus 18:16 You shall not uncover the nakedness of you brother's wife: it is your brother's nakedness.

Torah Leviticus 20:21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is impure (that): he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; (and) they shall be childless.

2. When can a brother marry his brother’s wife?

If the brother’s wife is a widow then they may marry according to Torah Genesis 38:8 and Torah Deuteronomy 25:5 – 25:10.

Gospel of Mark 6:19 And Herodias had been maintaining a grudge against him, and was wanting to kill him, and could not,

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:19.

Gospel of Mark 6:19 And Herodias had been maintaining a grudge against him (John the Baptizer), and was wanting to kill him (John the Baptizer), and could not,

Who was Herodias?

King Herod married his brother’s wife Herodias.

Gospel of Mark 6:20 for Herod feared John, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man, and he protected him. And when he listened to him, he had much difficulty, yet heard him gladly.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:20.

Gospel of Mark 6:20 for (King) Herod feared John (the Baptizer), knowing him to be a righteous and holy man, and he (King Herod) protected him (John the Baptizer). And when he (King Herod) listened to him (John the Baptizer), he (King Herod) had much difficulty (because he did not like everything that he said to him), yet heard him gladly.

Gospel of Mark 6:21 And a suitable day came, when Herod in his birthday celebration made a supper for his courtiers, and the chiliarchs, and the prominent of Galilee.

Gospel of Mark 6:22 And when the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and those reclining with him. So the king said to the girl, "Ask me anything you want, and I will give it to you."

Gospel of Mark 6:23 And he swore to her, "Whatever you ask for, I will give it to you, up to half my kingdom."

Gospel of Mark 6:24 And going out, she said to her mother, "What shall I ask for?" And she said, "The head of John the Baptizer."

Comment:

The name of the mother is Herodias.

King Herod married his brother’s wife Herodias.

Gospel of Mark 6:25 And she went in at once to the king with speed, saying this request: "I wish that you would give to me right now the head of John the Baptizer on a platter."

Comment:

What is a platter?

A platter is a plate (serving dish used to serve food, eating plate).

Gospel of Mark 6:26 And the king became greatly distressed. He did not want to refuse her, because of the words of oath and those reclining.

Gospel of Mark 6:29 And when his disciples heard, they came and took his corpse and laid it in a tomb.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:29.

Gospel of Mark 6:29 And when his disciples heard, they came and took his (John the Baptizer's) corpse and laid it in a tomb.

1. What would later happen to Prophet Jesus happened first to Prophet John.

The disciples of Prophet John took the body of Prophet John and laid it in a tomb.

Prophet John was the prophet before Jesus.

2. John the Baptist and Jesus of Nazareth in Judaism.

Today John the Baptist and Jesus of Nazareth are not prophets in the Jewish religion because the report of their deaths is believed but the report that they were seen after their deaths is not believed.

3. Prophet John in Islam and Christianity.

Prophet John is a prophet in the religions of Islam and Christianity.

4. Prophet Jesus in Islam and Christianity.

Prophet Jesus is a prophet in the religion of Islam and in some Christian sects.

5. Prophet Jesus in Christianity.

Jesus is a prophet in some Christian sects.

Jesus is Allaah in the Christian sects who believe in Trinity where Allaah the creator shares power with two of Allaah’s creations; the human messenger of Allaah who is Jesus (The Son of Allaah meaning the servant of Allaah) and the Angel messenger of Allaah who is Gabriel (The Holy Spirit, The Holy Ghost).

6. Trinity is not in the Gospel.

The problem with the human invention of Trinity can be understood by answering some questions; Did Jesus create Allaah or did Allaah create Jesus? Did Prophet Jesus create Allaah or did Allaah create Prophet Jesus? Who created the Holy Spirit was it Allaah or Prophet Jesus? Did the Holy Spirit (the Holy Ghost) create Allaah and Jesus? Did Allaah or Jesus create the Holy Ghost (the Holy Spirit)?

The answer is that Allaah is the creator of every creation.

Did the chicken create the egg or did the egg create the chicken?

The answer is that through a process of evolution Allaah created the egg and the chicken because Allaah is the creator of every creation.

The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is created by Allaah.

The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is a creation.

The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is identified as Angel Gabriel by the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

7. The Gospel and the Quran confirm that the Holy Spirit is the angel messenger from Allaah.

In the Gospel of Mark 9:1 Jesus said “there are some standing here who will certainly not taste death before they see the kingdom of Allaah having come with power" then the kingdom of Allaah is seen when in the Gospel of Mark 9:2 Peter and James and John go to a high mountain and in the Gospel of Mark 9:1 Jesus changes appearance and Peter and James witness the kingdom of Allaah having come with power in the verses that follow.

In the same way in the Gospel of Mark 1:8 John said I (John) have baptized you (the children of Israel) in water, but he (Jesus) will baptize you (the children of Israel) in the Holy Spirit (baptizing you with Allaah’s revelations through angel Gabriel who will reveal what Allaah wills to Jesus)" then the Holy Spirit is seen when in the Gospel of Mark 1:9 Jesus is baptized in water by John and in the Gospel of Mark 1:10 as Jesus was coming out of the water where he had been baptized by John, the heavens opened, and the Spirit (Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, Angel Gabriel) as a dove (like a bird, an angel) came down to him (Jesus).

John baptized the children of Israel in water.

Gospel of Mark 1:8 I (John) have baptized you (the children of Israel) in water, but he (Jesus) will baptize you (the children of Israel) in the Holy Spirit (baptizing you with Allaah’s revelations through angel Gabriel who will reveal what Allaah wills to Jesus)."

Jesus is baptized by John in the water.

Gospel of Mark 1:9 And it came about in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

The Holy Spirit comes down to Jesus.

Gospel of Mark 1:10 And going up out of the water he (Jesus) immediately saw the heavens opening, and the Spirit (Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, Angel Gabriel) as a dove (like a bird, an angel) coming down to him (Jesus).

The Holy Spirit reveals the word of Allaah to the heart.

Angel Gabriel revealed the Quran which confirmed what came before it in the Gospel and the Torah.

Quran 2:97 Koran 2:97 Say (Prophet Muhammad, to the people), who is against (Angel) Gabriel? because it is he (Angel Gabriel) who has revealed this (Scripture, the Quran) to your heart (Prophet Muhammad) by Allaah’s permission, confirming what was revealed before it (in the Gospel and in the Torah), and as a guidance and good news for those who believe.

(Note 1. There is one Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) that was created by Allaah. See Quran 70:4, 78:38 and 97:4.

(Note 2. There is one angel called the Holy Spirit among the Holy angels.

There is one angel who is called the Spirit (Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost) among the Holy angels.

The Holy Spirit and the other Holy angels were created by Allaah.

The Holy Spirit is one of the Holy angels of Allaah.

Quran 70:4 Koran 70:4 (The seven sleepers in Quran 18:19 and the death and resurrection of Prophet Ezra Uzair in Quran 2:259 teach that the time between death and resurrection feels like nothing but sleeping for less than one day and this is confirmed in Quran 20:103, 20:104, 23:113, 30:55, 46:35 and 79:46 which teach that both the righteous and the wrongdoer shall swear on the Day of Resurrection that death feels like nothing but a one hour sleep or ten hour sleep meaning sleeping in death for billions of years feels like closing and then opening your eyes. Everyone is returned to Allaah and) the angels and the Spirit (the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel Jibril) ascend (go up) to Him (Allaah) in a day the measure (duration) of which is (like) fifty thousand years (meaning after every human experienced billions of years in death as if it was only a very short one hour sleep or ten hour sleep humans will experience the Day of Resurrection and Judgement to feel like a very long day fifty thousand years long which in fact will be very short compared to eternity in the hereafter https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/hadith-punishment-in-the-grave ).

Quran 78:38 Koran 78:38 The Day (of Judgement) when the Spirit (the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel as revealed in Quran 2:97) and the (other) angels shall stand in rows and they shall not speak except for the one whom the Most Merciful (Allaah) allows (to speak) and they (the Spirit and the other angels) shall say what is correct.

Quran 97:4 Koran 97:4 On (one night in Ramadan called the Night of Power, Night of Decree, Night of Measures, Night of Excellence, Laylat al-Qadr, Shab-e-Qadr) the angels and the Spirit (the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel as revealed in Quran 2:97) come down (to the Earth) by Allaah's permission, on every errand (task, duty that is needed to be done for the following year).

Gospel of Mark 6:30 And the apostles are collecting around Jesus, and they reported to him all the things that they had done, and what they had taught.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:30.

Gospel of Mark 6:30 And the apostles (the disciples of Jesus) are collecting around Jesus, and they reported to him all the things that they had done, and what they had taught.

Gospel of Mark 6:31 And he says to them, "Come by yourselves to a remote place and rest a little."  For those coming and going were many, and they did not even have opportunity to eat.

Gospel of Mark 6:32 And they went away in a boat by themselves to a remote place.

Gospel of Mark 6:33 And many saw them leaving and knew, and ran together there on foot from all the towns and arrived ahead of them.

Gospel of Mark 6:34 And getting out he saw the large crowd, and felt compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.

Gospel of Mark 6:35 And now as an advanced hour comes, his disciples approached him and said, "The place is remote, and it's now an advanced hour.

Gospel of Mark 6:36 Dismiss them so that they may go into the surrounding farms and villages and buy for themselves something to eat."

Gospel of Mark 6:37 But he in answer said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they say to him, "Are we to go and buy two hundred denarii of loaves of bread and give it to them to eat?"

Gospel of Mark 6:38 And he says to them, "How many loaves do you have?  Go see." And finding out, they say, "Five, and two fish."

Gospel of Mark 6:39 And he instructed them to get all to recline in dining fellowships on the green grass.

Gospel of Mark 6:40 And they reclined, in groups of a hundred and in groups of fifty.

Gospel of Mark 6:41 And taking the five loaves of bread and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves of bread and gave to the disciples to set before the people.  The two fish also he divided for all.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:41.

Gospel of Mark 6:41 And taking the five loaves of bread and the two fish (as Allaah through the Holy Spirit had commanded Jesus to do), and looking up to heaven (Jesus thanked Allaah then), he (Jesus) blessed and broke the loaves of bread and gave to the disciples to set (the food) before the people. The two fish also he (Jesus) divided for all (the people).

Gospel of Mark 6:42 And they all ate and were satisfied,

Gospel of Mark 6:43 and they picked up twelve large baskets full of fragments from the loaves of bread, and from the fish.

Gospel of Mark 6:44 And there were five thousand men eating the loaves.

Comment:

How could Prophet Jesus make 5 loaves of bread and two fish feed 5,000 men?

Jesus is the servant of Allaah.

Jesus cannot do anything except follow the commands of Allaah because Jesus is the prophet and the messenger of Allaah.

In the Gospel of Mark 6:41 Jesus looked up to heaven and with faith asked Allaah to make 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish feed 5,000 men.

Gospel of Mark 11:23 Truly I tell you, whoever can say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it is not being questioned in his heart, but he is believing that what he is saying is happening, it will happen for him.

Gospel of Mark 11:24 "Therefore I tell you, all things, whatever you are asking for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will happen for you.

Gospel of Mark 11:25 Also, when you stand praying, forgive, if you are holding anything against anyone, so that your Father (Allaah) in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses (wrong doings)."

Gospel of Mark 6:45 And he immediately told his disciples to get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side to Bethsaida, while he would dismiss the crowd.

Comment:

Where is Bethsaida?

Bethsaida is in Galilee today northern Israel.

Gospel of Mark 6:46 And after saying farewell to them, he went away into the hills to pray.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:46.

Gospel of Mark 6:46 And after saying farewell to them, he (Jesus the prophet and messenger and messiah sent by Allaah) went away into the hills to pray (to Allaah).

When Jesus was alone who did Prophet Jesus pray to?

Prophet Jesus prayed to Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

Jesus walks on the water.

Gospel of Mark 6:47 And after evening had come, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on the land.

Gospel of Mark 6:48 And about the fourth watch of the night, when he saw them being sorely taxed in the process of rowing, because the wind was against them, he goes toward them, walking on the lake, and was intending to pass them.

Comment:

How could Prophet Jesus walk on water?

Jesus is the servant of Allaah.

Jesus cannot do anything except follow the commands of Allaah because Jesus is the prophet and the messenger of Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 6:49 But when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought it was a ghost, and cried out.

Gospel of Mark 6:50 For they all saw him, and were disturbed by it. But he immediately talked with them, and he is saying to them: "Take courage!  It is I.  Don't be afraid."

Gospel of Mark 6:51 And he went up into the boat with them, and the wind stopped.  And they were very much, extremely stunned within themselves.

Gospel of Mark 6:52 For they had not learned from the incident of the loaves of bread; their hearts were hardened.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:52.

Gospel of Mark 6:52 For they had not learned from the incident of the (miracle of the) loaves of bread; their hearts were hardened (meaning their mind was blind because after the miracle of the loaves of bread they were slow to understand that the ability to walk on water was also a miracle which Allaah had permitted to Jesus who is the prophet and messenger and messiah sent by Allaah).

After seeing one miracle people were still surprised when they saw a second miracle.

Gospel of Mark 6:53 And crossing over, they came ashore at Gennesaret and anchored.

Comment:

Where is Gennesaret?

Gennesaret (Genezareth, Genezar, Gennesaret) is on the shore of the Sea of Galilee in Galilee today in northern Israel.

Gospel of Mark 6:54 And as soon as they got out of the boat, people recognized him and

Gospel of Mark 6:55 ran around that whole region, and those who had invalids began to carry them around on pallets to where they heard that he was.

Gospel of Mark 6:56 And wherever he would go, into villages, or into towns, or into countryside, they would place the invalids in the plazas, and the invalids would implore him that they could just touch the tassel of his cloak. And they were being healed, as many as touched him.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 6:56.

Gospel of Mark 6:56 And wherever he would go, into villages, or into towns, or into countryside, they would place the invalids in the plazas, and the invalids would implore him that they could just touch the tassel of his cloak. And they were being healed, as many as touched him (because they all had faith that Jesus was a messenger sent by Allaah).

1. Why are there so many miracles in the time of Prophet Jesus?

Allaah through His messenger Jesus is teaching his disciples and the people that with faith in Allaah everything is possible.

2. What happens today if you have mental or other health problems?

2-1. Today thanks to Allaah, every day new medicines and treatments are developed that cure problems which in the past were not curable.

2-2. If you have mental and other health problems you visit a doctor or a hospital.

2-3. Some of the problems that needed miracles in the past can today be treated by doctors and hospitals.

3. Beware of people who offer miracles.

There are some people who use the stories in the Gospel in an evil way to falsely offer miracles.

Today there are no more prophets.

The miracles that are described in the Books of Allaah were a special sign from Allaah to confirm the truthfulness of the prophets and their disciples.

The sign of Allaah today is the Torah, Gospel and Quran which are the stories of the past and the future.

Today humans live in the present which is different to the miracles that happened in the past during the time of the prophets of Allaah and different to the miracles that shall happen in the future in the hereafter.

4. Jesus speaks about miracles in the time of the prophets and not today.

Do not confuse the past and the future with the present.

Gospel of Mark 16:17 And these signs will accompany the ones who believe: in my name (in the name of Jesus who is the prophet and messenger of Allaah) they will drive out demons, they will speak in new tongues,

Gospel of Mark 16:18 they will pick up serpents (snakes), and should they drink something deadly it would in no wise hurt them; they will lay their hands on sick ones, and they will have health again."

4-1. Today no one can drink poison and live.

Gospel of Mark 16:18 “… should they drink something deadly it would not hurt them. …”

This proves that the miracles Jesus is talking about are the miracles he and his disciples showed as proof from Allaah that they were truthfully delivering the word of Allaah.

4-2. Today people die by drinking poison.

Those who try to deceive people sometime use a medical antidote (cure) but it is dangerous because there is no antidote (cure) for many poisons.

Some people have died by drinking poison as a challenge and a test for Allaah to recognise their faith and the same has happened to some people who have handled snakes (serpents).

4-3. It is wrong to test Allaah by touching poisonous snakes and by drinking poison.

Allaah is the creator.

Humans are creations.

It is Allaah who tests humans.

It is not for humans to test Allaah by making such challenges.

4-4. The miracles of today are deceptions because only the miracles in the times of the prophets and the miracles promised in the future hereafter are genuine miracles.

Do not confuse the past and the future with the present.

The miracles of today are deceptions because only the miracles in the times of the prophets and the miracles promised in the future hereafter are genuine miracles as revealed in the Torah, Gospel and Quran and such miracles cannot be compared to anything today because of the special purpose for which Allaah made those miracles for the past and for the future possible.

When people today say they can drive out demons and speak in tongues and pick up deadly snakes and heal people by putting their hands on them they are showing that what Jesus and his disciples did was nothing special because they are doing the same thing except they cannot drink poison which proves that what they do is false and is not like what Jesus and his disciples did.

4-5. Some who say they did what Jesus did will not enter Paradise.

Gospel of Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone saying to me, 'Lord, Lord (Jesus, Jesus the human messenger of Allaah),' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one doing the will of my Father (Allaah who is the creator of every creation) who is in heaven (meaning the kingdom of heaven over which Allaah is the creator and the ruler of every creation).

(Note 1. Jesus said he is not Allaah.

Jesus who is talking on the earth said he is not Allaah because Allaah is the one who is in heaven (meaning the kingdom of heaven over which Allaah is the creator and the ruler of every creation).

Jesus said you must please Allaah not please Jesus.

Those who enter the kingdom of heaven in Paradise are not those who please Jesus but they are those who please Allaah.

(Note 2. It is Allaah and not Jesus who has all the power.

Jesus follows the commands of Allaah.

Not everyone who says they did what Jesus the human prophet of Allaah did will enter Paradise because it is only those who do the will of Allaah who is the creator of every creation who shall entre Paradise.

Gospel of Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord (Jesus, Jesus the human messenger of Allaah), did we not prophesy in your name (in the name of Prophet Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah), and in your name (in the name of Prophet Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah) drive out demons and in your name (in the name of Prophet Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah)  perform many miracles?'

Gospel of Matthew 7:23 And then I (Prophet Jesus) will declare to them on record (as a witness against them on the Day of Judgement that): 'I have never known you.  Away from me, you workers of lawlessness! (meaning they did what they wanted to do instead of what Allaah commanded them to do)'

(Note 1. In the Gospel Allaah revealed to Jesus (through the Holy Spirit) that in the hereafter some of the people who drive out demons and performed many miracles in the name of Jesus would be rejected by Allaah.

(In the name of Jesus means “I pray to Allaah in the name of Jesus who is the prophet and messenger of Allaah and I ask Allaah to allow this miracle”).

5. The Quran confirms the Gospel regarding Jesus and the Day of Judgement.

5-1. The purpose for miracles was to show the truthfulness of the Gospel (The Good News) and the truthfulness of the prophets and disciples of Allaah through the power of faith.

5-3. Today the power of faith is in the word of Allaah in the Torah, Gospel and Quran which is the promise of reward in the hereafter for the righteous.

Quran 3:171 Koran 3:171 They have good news of Allaah's blessing and grace and that Allaah always rewards those that have faith (in Him, Allaah).

5-3. Why in the Gospel does Allaah reveal to Jesus that in the hereafter some of the people who drive out demons and performed many miracles in the name of Jesus will be rejected by Allaah?

Quran 3:55 Koran 3:55 (Jesus Isa said on the cross “my Allaah my Allaah why have you forsaken me” as proof that Jesus Isa is human and that Jesus Isa is not Allaah in the Injil of Isa by Mark and Matthew the Gospel of Mark 15:34 and the Gospel of Matthew 27:46. This was proof that Jesus Isa had faith in Allaah because Jesus Isa called out for help from Allaah and it was then that Jesus Isa passed the test of faith like Abraham Ibrahim and his son had passed the test of faith in a time before him. The plan of Allaah was then explained to Jesus Isa to show that Allaah does not forsake humans who call Allaah for help) when Allaah said "O Jesus Isa I (Allaah) will take you (your soul in Quran 39:42 so that your body will sleep on the cross) and raise you (your soul) to Myself (Allaah in Quran 4:158 and Quran 39:42 making everyone believe you are dead on the cross in Quran 4:157 because your body will stop moving on the cross) and purify you (meaning separate your soul for three days) from those who disbelieve (you are a messenger of Allaah), and I (Allaah) will make those who follow you (by obeying the Gospel Injil that you taught them 2000 years ago) superior (in the hereafter) to those who disbelieve (you are a messenger of Allaah) on the Day of Resurrection (in the hereafter on a new earth, a new ground, a new land when all humans will see that the message you delivered in the Gospel Injil is the truth). (After 3 days Allaah returned the soul of Jesus Isa to wake up his sleeping body as proof that no one killed him on the cross and no one crucified him to death on the cross in the Gospel of John 20:17, Quran 5:72, Quran 5:117 and Quran 19:36 when Jesus Isa woke up in the place of the dead where his body was placed after the crucifixion which is the time when Jesus Isa delivered the message that “Allaah is my Allaah and your Allaah” meaning “Allaah is my Father and your Father” meaning Allaah is my Creator and your Creator meaning Allaah is my Master and your Master meaning Allaah is my Lord and your Lord so that no one can confuse a miracle of Allaah with a human messenger of Allaah. No one teaches people that they are not Allaah unless something amazing has happened which might result in confusion. Jesus Isa woke up three days after the crucifixion and continued living with his people in Judea and Galilee today in Palestine and Israel. This was something amazing and this is the reason Jesus Isa was teaching the people that Jesus Isa is not Allaah. Jesus Isa taught his people that Jesus Isa is not Allaah until his natural death in Quran 5:75 where Mary Maryam and Jesus Isa “use to eat food” meaning they both died 2000 years ago and Quran 3:144 where the “the messengers before Prophet Muhammad have died” meaning Jesus Isa is dead because Jesus Isa is the messenger before Prophet Muhammad). Then (on that Day of Resurrection and Judgement) to Me (Allaah) is your return (when In Quran 7:6 Allaah shall question the messengers of Allaah and in Quran 5:117 Prophet Jesus Isa will testify to Allaah on the Day of Judgement that Prophet Jesus Isa died only one time when he lived with the children of Israel 2000 years ago in Judea today in Israel and Palestine where he was raised only one time by the angel of death as confirmation of the truthfulness of both the Quran and the Gospel Injil) and I (Allaah) will judge between you (humans and explain to humans) about what (religious matters) you were differing (among each other when some of you claimed Jesus Isa was not sent by Allaah and others of you claimed Jesus Isa was Allaah instead of believing Jesus Isa who said Jesus Isa is a human messenger of Allaah in all the Injil of Isa the Gospel of Jesus by Mark, Matthew, Luke and John which are with humans today and proved it by his righteous deeds and righteous teachings as all the messengers of Allaah had also done before him).

(Note 1. Those who believe Jesus is a servant and a prophet of Allaah will be rewarded on the Day of Judgement).

Those who were distracted and forgot Allaah by making Prophet Jesus into Allaah shall be punished by Allaah in the hereafter.

(Note 2. Prayer in the name of Jesus means “I pray to Allaah in the name of Jesus who is the prophet and messenger of Allaah and I ask Allaah to allow this miracle”).

Quran 3:56 Koran 3:56 "As to those who reject faith (in Allaah), I (Allaah) shall punish them with a severe punishment in this world and in the Hereafter and they shall have no helpers (to intercede on their behalf when they face Allaah who is the one creator of every creation)."

(Note 1. There is only one Allaah and every creation is Allaah’s servant.

The people who were distracted with miracles by driving out demons and speaking in tongues and picking up deadly snakes and healing people by putting their hands on them and forgot Allaah by making Prophet Jesus into Allaah shall be punished by Allaah in the hereafter.

Quran 17:60 Koran 17:60 “.... We (Allaah) warn (people to do what is good and avoid what is evil) and make them afraid (of Allaah by describing the home for evil doers in Hell Fire in the Hereafter) but it only increases them (some of the humans) in nothing but greater disobedience against Allaah (and the commandment to do what is good and avoid what is evil).

6. Allaah does not like those who pray to anyone except Allaah.

Humans have made other humans into Allaahs by giving dead humans Allaah’s unique ability to hear prayer.

Quran 3:57 Koran 3:57 As to those who believe (that there is only one Allaah alone who creates every creation without help from partners or sons or daughters or wives, etc) and who do good deeds, Allaah shall pay them their reward in full (in the hereafter). Allaah does not love those who are unjust.

(Note 1. Those who were distracted and forgot Allaah by mistakenly praying to Prophet Jesus who is a creation instead of correctly praying to Allaah who is the creator of every creation shall be punished by Allaah.

(Note 2. The invention of Trinity is the making of a human into a Allaah.

The result is that instead of praying only to Allaah people incorrectly prayed to Jesus who is a creation and creations have no power to hear prayer because that power is only with the creator.

(Note 3. Praying to one human led to praying to dead people who are considered to be saints.

People decided who was Allaah and some prayed to Jesus instead of Allaah.

People decided who was a saint and some people prayed to dead people instead of Allaah.

(Note 4. Allaah is the creator so only Allaah has the special power to hear prayer.

Some humans gave Allaah’s unique power of hearing prayer to more and more humans until today there are thousands of saints to whom people pray.

The result is idol worship by humans of humans.

(Note 5. Humans have made other humans into gods by giving dead humans Allaah’s unique ability to hear prayer.

The Gospel of Mark Chapter 7.

Clean and unclean.

Gospel of Mark 7:1 And the Pharisees and some of the Torah scholars are coming from Jerusalem and gathering toward him,

Gospel of Mark 7:2 and they see that some of his disciples are eating bread with unclean— that is, unwashed— hands.

Gospel of Mark 7:3 For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands with the fist, holding to the tradition of the elders.

Gospel of Mark 7:4 And they do not eat from the marketplaces unless they wash. And there are many others which they have received instruction to keep, the baptizing of cups, pitchers, and kettles.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 7:4.

Gospel of Mark 7:4 And they (the Pharisees and all the Jews) do not eat from the marketplaces unless they wash. And there are many others which they have received instruction to keep, the baptizing (washing) of cups, pitchers, and kettles.

Gospel of Mark 7:5 And the Pharisees and Torah scholars are questioning him: "Why are your disciples not walking according to the tradition of the elders, but eating bread with unclean hands?"

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 7:5.

Gospel of Mark 7:5 And the Pharisees and Torah scholars are questioning him (Jesus): "Why are your disciples not walking according to the tradition of the elders, but eating bread with unclean (unwashed) hands?"

Gospel of Mark 7:6 And he said to them, "Isaiah prophesied rightly about you hypocrites, as it is written: " 'This people honor me with the lips, but their heart is far from me.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 7:6.

Gospel of Mark 7:6 And he (Jesus) said to them, "Isaiah prophesied rightly about you hypocrites, as it is written: " 'This people honor me with the lips (words), but their heart is far (away) from me.

Gospel of Mark 7:7 They worship me in vain, their instruction is the drilling of the rules of human beings.'

Gospel of Mark 7:8 "Dropping the commandment of Allaah, you are holding on to the tradition of human beings."

Gospel of Mark 7:9 And he said to them, "You have a fine way of setting aside the commandment of Allaah in order to set up your own traditions.

Gospel of Mark 7:10 For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'The person cursing father or mother must be put to death.'

Gospel of Mark 7:11 But you say that if someone says to father or mother, 'Whatever financial help you would receive from me is now korban' (that is, a gift vowed to Allaah),

Comment:

Korban.

Those that said Korban to their parents don’t intend to help their mother or father anymore with money because they make an oath to give such money to Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 7:12 you relieve him of doing anything more for father or mother,

Gospel of Mark 7:13 annulling the word of Allaah by your tradition which you have handed down. And many similar such things you do."

Gospel of Mark 7:14 And calling the crowd to him again, he said, "Listen to me everyone, and understand:

Gospel of Mark 7:15 There is nothing outside a human being which by entering him is able to make him unclean. Rather, the things coming out of a human being are the things making the human being unclean.

Comment:

What makes a person unclean?

What comes out of a person such as bad words are what make a person unclean not what goes into them such as some kinds of food.

Gospel of Mark 7:16 If anyone has ears to hear, hear."

Gospel of Mark 7:17 And when he had entered a house, away from the crowd, the disciples asked him the meaning of the parable.

Gospel of Mark 7:18 And he says to them, "Are you also this obtuse?  Do you not understand that everything entering a human being from the outside is unable to make him unclean,

Gospel of Mark 7:19 since it is not entering his heart but his stomach, and then goes out into the sewer?" (He is declaring all foods clean.)

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 7:19

Gospel of Mark 7:19 since it is not entering his heart but his stomach, and then goes out into the sewer?" (Jesus is declaring that if you are wicked then food can not make your heart clean from sin in other words following the Torah requires that a person not only obey the commandments regarding food but also the commandments regarding good behaviour. See Gospel of Matthew 5:17 – 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3).

Gospel of Matthew 15:11 “The thing entering into the mouth does not make a human being unclean, but rather the thing coming forth out of the mouth, that is what makes the human being unclean (Jesus is declaring that if you are wicked then food can not make your heart clean from sin in other words following the Torah requires that a person not only obey the commandments regarding food but also the commandments regarding good behaviour. See Gospel of Matthew 5:17 – 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3)."

Gospel of Matthew 5:18 For truly I say to you, until the sky and the earth pass away (meaning until the end of the earth), not one iota, not one serif (not a dot of one letter), will by any means pass away from the Law (in the Torah) until everything is carried out (on the Day of Judgement which is after the end of the earth).

Gospel of Matthew 5:19 Therefore, whoever looses one of the least of these commandments (in the Torah), and teaches people the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices them and teaches them, this one will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus confirmed that nothing can be added or taken away from the Torah meaning anyone who thinks Jesus has added or taken something away from the Torah has misunderstood what Jesus has said because Jesus said anyone who teaches people to disobey the Torah will be the lowest in the Kingdom of heaven.

This means whatever Jesus says in the four Gospels cannot be interpreted to mean disobeying anything in the Torah.

If anyone thinks Jesus is teaching people to disobey the Torah they are misunderstanding what Jesus said because Jesus is teaching people to follow the Torah not to disobey it.

For example in Gospel of Matthew 15:11.

Gospel of Matthew 15:11 “The thing entering into the mouth does not make a human being unclean, but rather the thing coming forth out of the mouth, that is what makes the human being unclean."

It is incorrect to interpret this as meaning Jesus is teaching people to abandon the laws in the Torah regarding which foods can be eaten because that would contradict Gospel of Matthew 5:18 – 5:19 which confirms the Torah.

The same applies to what Jesus teaches during the Sabbath.

What Allaah has told Jesus to do and say during the Sabbath is not teaching people to abandon the laws of the Sabbath in the Torah because that would contradict Gospel of Matthew 5:18 – 5:19 which confirms the Torah.

Jesus is saying those who show off pretending they are righteous by their outward behaviour of observing the Torah laws regarding food or the Sabbath or anything else people can see them doing is not righteous because of what people see of them but they can only be righteous because of what is inside their heart.

This is the same message delivered by every messenger in the many books contained in the Jewish Hebrew Bible and the four Gospels do nothing but confirm what was said by Allaah before.

Gospel of Mark 7:20 He went on: "What comes out of a human being, that is what makes the human being unclean.

Comment:

What comes out of the human heart is more important than human traditions.

Intentions are more important than traditions.

What comes out of a human’s heart such as arrogance and greed and evil behaviour is what makes a human unclean. Food that goes into the stomach of a human does not make a human unclean).

Gospel of Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of human beings, come evil reasoning, fornication, theft, murder,

Gospel of Mark 7:22 adultery, covetousness, malice, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, slander, haughtiness, and folly.

Comment:

What is evil?

1. Evil reasoning. Evil reasoning is the making of decisions for evil purposes.

2. Fornication. Fornication is illegal intimate sex between a man and a woman whereby the offender (the fornicator) is the one who is not married.

3. Theft. Stealing.

4. Murder. Killing.

5. Adultery. Adultery is illegal intimate sex between a man and a woman whereby the offender (the adulterer) is the one who is married.

6. Covetousness. Covetousness is envy to possess something.

7. Malice. Is the intention to do something that is evil.

8. Deceit. Deceit is a dishonest act or dishonest statement.

9. Lewdness. Lewdness is obscene behaviour.

10. An evil eye. An evil eye is a look that is believed to have the power to cause harm.

11. Slander. Slander is the making of false and damaging statements about someone.

12. Haughtiness. Haughtiness is the attitude of arrogance toward inferiors

13. Folly. Folly is foolishness which is the lack of good sense.

Gospel of Mark 7:23 All these evil things come forth from within and make the human being unclean."

The faith of the gentile dog.

Gospel of Mark 7:24 And getting up, he departed from there into the vicinity of Tyre. And entering a house, he wanted no one to know, yet he could not escape notice.

Comment:

Where is Tyre?

Tyre is in Phoenicia today in southern Lebanon.

Gospel of Mark 7:25 In fact immediately upon hearing about him, a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit came, and fell at his feet.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 7:25.

Gospel of Mark 7:25 In fact immediately upon hearing about him, a woman whose daughter had an unclean (evil) spirit came, and fell at his feet.

Gospel of Mark 7:26 And the woman was a Gentile, a Syro-Phoenician by race. And she kept begging him that he drive the demon out of her daughter.

Comment:

Prophet Jesus was Jewish because his mother Mary was Jewish.

The adopted father of Jesus was Joseph who was also Jewish.

Jesus and Mary and Joseph were from the children of Israel.

The Gentile are the people who are not from the children of Israel.

The Gentile are the people who are not Jewish.

Gospel of Mark 7:27 And he was saying to her, "Allow the children first to eat their fill, for it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs."

Comment:

The miracles of Allaah are not only for the children of Israel - 1.

Allow the children of Israel to finish being served by the miracles of Allaah because it is not proper for a gentile to be served by the miracles of Allaah until the children of Israel have finished being served by the miracles of Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 7:28 But in answer she says to him, "Lord, even the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs."

Comment:

1. The miracles of Allaah are not only for the children of Israel - 2.

Lord (Prophet Jesus) even those who are not from the children of Israel need whatever miracles of Allaah remain after the children of Israel have finished benefiting from them.

This is an expression of belief by a lady who was not Jewish.

Gospel of Mark 7:29 And he said to her, "Because of this reply, go your way; the demon has left your daughter."

1. This was an expression of belief by a lady who was not Jewish.

The belief by a lady who was not Jewish in Jesus the messenger of Allaah resulted in Allaah granting her a miracle.

Gospel of Mark 7:30 And going away to her house, she found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

Jesus does all things well.

Gospel of Mark 7:31 And going back out of the district of Tyre, he went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee, into the midst of the region of the Ten Cities.

Comment:

1. Where is Tyre?

Tyre is in Phoenicia today in southern Lebanon.

2. Where is Sidon?

Sidon is north of Tyre in Phoenicia today in southern Lebanon.

3. Where is the Sea of Galilee?

The Sea of Galilee in Galilee today is northern Israel and is part of the Jordan River system.

4. Where is Decapolis? Where are the ten cities?

Part of the region of the Ten Cities (Decapolis) is located from east of the Sea of Galilee through to south west of the Sea of Galilee today in northern Israel, Syria and Jordan.

Gospel of Mark 7:32 And they bring a man to him, deaf and speaking with difficulty, and they are begging him to place his hand on him.

Gospel of Mark 7:33 And taking him aside privately, away from the crowd, he put his fingers into his ears. And after spitting on his fingers, he touched the man's tongue.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 7:33.

Gospel of Mark 7:33 And taking him aside privately, away from the crowd, he put his fingers into his ears (as Allaah through the Holy Spirit commanded Jesus to do). And after spitting on his fingers, he touched the man's tongue (as Allaah through the Holy Spirit commanded Jesus to do).

Gospel of Mark 7:34 And looking up to heaven he sighed, and he says to him, "Eppatach!"  (which means, "Be opened!").

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 7:34.

Gospel of Mark 7:34 And looking up to heaven (to give thanks to Allaah) he (Jesus) sighed, and he (Jesus the prophet and messenger and messiah sent by Allaah) says to him, "Eppatach!"  (which means, "Be opened!").

Why does Jesus “look up to heaven?”

When Jesus looks up Jesus is thanking Allaah for what Allaah will do because Jesus has faith in Allaah and therefore Jesus knows in his heart that Allaah will give this blessed miracle.

Jesus looks up to heaven to show that the power of miracles that show Jesus is a truthful prophet comes from Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 7:35 And his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue was immediately released, and he began to speak normally.

Gospel of Mark 7:36 And he was ordering them that they tell no one. But as much as he ordered them, all the more they were talking about it.

Comment:

Why did Jesus order people not to tell anyone what Jesus had done?

The people did what Jesus told them not to do to show that while Jesus had power over miracles with Allaah’s permission, there where some things over which Allaah had given Jesus no power such as the ability to make people follow the orders of Jesus.

Only Allaah has the power to determine what people do.

Jesus could not make people obey his orders unless it was the will of Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 7:37 And they were being overwhelmed with admiration, saying, "He has done everything well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 7:37.

Gospel of Mark 7:37 And they were being overwhelmed with admiration, saying, "He (Jesus) has done everything well. He (Jesus the messenger sent by Allaah) makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."

What does “Jesus makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak” mean?

Prophet Jesus with Allaah’s permission makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak

The Gospel of Mark Chapter 8.

Jesus feeds the four thousand.

Gospel of Mark 8:1 During those days when there was again a great crowd and also having nothing to eat, he calls the disciples to him and says to them,

Gospel of Mark 8:2 "I feel compassion for this crowd, because they have stayed with me three days now, and have nothing to eat.

Gospel of Mark 8:3 And if I dismiss them to their homes, without eating they will collapse in the journey, and some of them are from a long distance."

Gospel of Mark 8:4 And his disciples answered him, "Where here in the desert will anyone be able to get enough loaves of bread to fill these people?"

Gospel of Mark 8:5 And he asked them, "How many loaves do you have?" And they said, "Seven."

Gospel of Mark 8:6 And he directs the crowd to recline on the ground.  And taking the seven loaves of bread, giving thanks he broke them, and gave to his disciples, for them to serve.  And they served the crowd.

Gospel of Mark 8:7 They also had a few fish, and blessing them, he ordered them to be served as well.

Gospel of Mark 8:8 And they ate and were filled, and they picked up the fragments left over, seven basketfuls.

Gospel of Mark 8:9 And they were about four thousand; and he dismissed them.

Comments:

How could Jesus feed 4,000 people with 7 loaves of bread and a few fish?

This was a miracle from Allaah to show that the human Jesus was a truthful messenger from Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 8:10 And immediately boarding the boat with his disciples, he went to the area of Dalmanutha.

Comments:

Where is Dalmanutha?

Dalmanutha is on the shores of the Sea of Galilee in Galilee today in northern Israel.

The yeast of the Pharisees and Herod.

Gospel of Mark 8:11 And the Pharisees came forward and began to debate with him, asking him for a sign from heaven, testing him.

Comment:

The Pharisees tested Jesus.

Those Pharisees who had no faith were shown no sign from Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 8:12 And sighing deeply in his spirit, he says, "Why does this generation ask for a sign?  Truly I say to you, a sign will certainly not be given this generation!"

Comment:

Why does this generation ask for a sign? Do they not believe what they have already heard and seen?

Those among the people who had faith were shown the signs from Allaah that Jesus was a truthful prophet so as to strengthen their faith even more.  That was Allaah’s blessing to those people who had faith meaning the great blessing of Allaah’s guidance.

Those among the people who had no faith were not shown the signs from Allaah that Jesus was a truthful prophet so as to strengthen their doubts even more. That was Allaah’s curse on those people who had no faith meaning the great misfortune of having lost Allaah’s guidance.

Gospel of Mark 8:13 And leaving them, he got back into the boat and went away to the other side.

Gospel of Mark 8:14 And they had forgotten to take bread; and except for one loaf, they had none with them in the boat.

Gospel of Mark 8:15 And he started warning them, saying, "Take heed, be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, and the yeast of Herod."

Comment:

What did the yeast of the Pharisees, and the yeast of Herod mean?

The yeast means the teaching and the ways of behaviour of some of the Pharisees (meaning those who are hypocrites in religion) and some among King Herod (meaning those who are hypocrites in authority).

Gospel of Mark 8:16 And they were discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread loaves.

Comment:

Why did the disciples start talking about bread?

When Jesus warned about yeast the disciples misunderstood Jesus because they thought Jesus was warning them no to forget to bring bread in future.

Gospel of Mark 8:17 And knowing, he says to them, "Why are you discussing with one another the fact that you have no bread loaves? Are you still not understanding, nor putting it together? Have you completely hardened hearts?

Gospel of Mark 8:18 You have eyes; can't you see? And you have ears; can't you hear? And don't you remember?

Comment:

Don't you remember?

The many miracles you have seen?

Gospel of Mark 8:19 When I broke the five loaves of bread to the five thousand, how many basketfuls of fragments did you pick up?" They say to him, "Twelve."

Gospel of Mark 8:20 "When I broke the seven to the four thousand, how many basketfuls of fragments did you pick up?" And they say, "Seven."

Gospel of Mark 8:21 And he said to them, "Do you still not understand?"

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:21.

Gospel of Mark 8:21 And he (Jesus) said to them (the disciples), "Do you still not understand (that everything comes from Allaah and that Jesus is the messenger sent by Allaah is able to do all things with the permission of Allaah)?"

Jesus said, “Do you still not understand?”

If you have faith in Allaah you never have to worry about how much bread you have because Jesus already showed that thousands of people can be fed with a few loaves of bread and faith in Allaah.

The healing of a blind man at Bethsaida.

Gospel of Mark 8:22 And they come to Bethsaida. And they bring a blind man to him, and they are begging Jesus to touch him.

Comment:

Where is Bethsaida?

Bethsaida is a fishing village in Galilee today in northern Israel.

Gospel of Mark 8:23 And taking hold of the blind man's hand, he led him outside the village. And after spitting in his eyes and placing his hands on him, he asked him, "Do you see anything?"

Gospel of Mark 8:24 And looking up he said, "I see people, that I am perceiving as trees walking around."

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:24.

Gospel of Mark 8:24 And looking up he said, "I see people, they look like trees walking around."

Gospel of Mark 8:25 Then he put his hands on the man's eyes again. And he looked for a while, and his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly again.

Comment:

1. Miracles like the miracles in the time of the prophets do not exist today. Why?

Gospel of Mark 8:26 And he sent him home, saying, "Do not go into the village."

Peter's confession of Messiah.

Gospel of Mark 8:27 And Jesus and his disciples went on to the villages of Caesarea of Philip, and on the way, he was inquiring of his disciples, saying to them, "Who do the people say I am?"

Comments:

1. Where is Caesarea (Caesarea Paneas, Caesarea Philippi, Caesarea of Philip)?

Caesarea of Philip is north of Galilee today in northern Israel.

2. Who is Philip?

Caesarea (Caesarea Paneas, Caesarea Philippi, Caesarea of Philip) was under the rule of Philip the Tetrarch.

Philip the Tetrarch (Herod Philip II, Herod II, Herod Philip I, Philip ben Herod, Herod Philip) also ruled Batanea (southern Syria) and Trachonitis (Argob, Al-Lajat, Lajat, Lejat and Lajah, El-Leja in southern Syria), and Auranitis (Hauran, Hawran, Houran, the northern cities of the Decapolis in southwest Syria) until 606 BH (34 CE 34 AD 34). These were later included in the Roman Province of Syria.

3. What is a Tetrarch?

A Tetrarch is a Governor appointed by the Roman Empire to one of four divisions of a territory.

Gospel of Mark 8:28 And they informed him, saying, "John the Baptizer; and others, Elijah; and still others, one of the Prophets."

Gospel of Mark 8:29 And he asked them, "And you, who do you say I am?" Peter in answer says to him, "You are the Messiah."

Comments:

1. What does "You are the Messiah" mean?

1-1. What does “are you the Messiah” mean?

Messiah means the anointed one.

Christ means the anointed one.

1-2. What does “the anointed one” mean?

The anointed one means the one who has been separated from all others to a position such as the position of a king or to undertake a specific purpose.

1-3. What does “the Son” mean?"

The Son means the servant.

1-4. What does “The Blessed One” mean?

The Blessed One means Allaah.

1-5. “Are you the Messiah, the Son of The Blessed One” means?

Are you the anointed one, the servant of Allaah?

Are you the one who has been separated from all others as, the servant of Allaah?

1-6. What task did Allaah give to Jesus as the servant of Allaah?

Allaah anointed Jesus as a prophet and a messenger of Allaah.

In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15 Jesus said that the next Comforter (prophet and messenger) after him will leave Allaah’s revelations on the earth forever meaning that the prophet and messenger that come after Jesus will be the last prophet.

Gospel of Mark 8:30 And Jesus warned them that they should tell no one about him.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:30.

Gospel of Mark 8:30 And Jesus warned them that they should tell no one about him (Jesus who is the prophet and messenger and messiah).

Peter opposes Jesus' death.

Comment:

Gospel of Mark 8:31 And he began to teach them that the Son of Man had to suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the Torah scholars, and must be killed, and after three days, rise again.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:31.

Gospel of Mark 8:31 And he (Jesus) began to teach them (the disciples of Jesus) that the Son of Man (the human named Jesus who is the messenger sent by Allaah) had to suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the Torah scholars, and (the elders and the chief priests and the Torah scholars will say that Jesus) must be killed, and after three days, (Jesus will) rise again (as proof that no one killed him on the cross or crucified him to death on the cross).

Gospel of Mark 9:31 because he (Jesus) was teaching his disciples. And he told them, "The Son of Man (the human named Jesus) is being transferred into the hands of human beings. And they (the elders and the chief priests and the Torah scholars will believe that they) will kill him. And three days after (what would look like he was) being killed (on the cross), he (Jesus) will rise again (as proof that no one killed him on the cross or crucified him to death on the cross)."

1. What does “Jesus must be killed” mean?

Jesus prophecies that in the future the Son of Man (the human Prophet, Messenger and Messiah Jesus, the anointed one, the servant of Allaah) will (willingly) suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the Torah scholars, and (they will say that Jesus) must be killed and after three days Jesus will be seen alive.

2. How does the Quran explain the Gospel of Mark 8:31 and 9:31?

Quran 39:42 Koran 39:42 Allaah takes the souls at the time of their death and (also takes the souls of) those who have not died (but are alive) during their sleep (when Allaah saved the life of Jesus Isa with sleep so that his body did not move making everyone believe that Jesus Isa was dead on the cross in Quran 4:157 by raising the soul of Jesus Isa to heaven and to Allaah in Quran 4:158). He (Allaah) keeps those (souls) for which He (Allaah) had decreed death and sends the rest (of the souls to awaken the sleeping body) for a predetermined period of time (such as when Allaah returned the soul of Jesus Isa three days after the crucifixion to wake up the sleeping body of Jesus Isa on the earth in the Gospel of John 20:17, Quran 5:72, Quran 5:117 and Quran 19:36 when Jesus Isa delivered the message that Jesus Isa is not Allaah by saying Allaah is my Allaah and your Allaah meaning Allaah is my Father and your Father meaning Allaah is my Creator and your Creator meaning Allaah is my Master and your Master meaning Allaah is my Lord and your Lord as proof that no one had killed him on the cross or crucified him to death on the cross, after which they return to sleep again or die as in Quran 5:75 where Mary Maryam and Jesus Isa “use to eat food” meaning they both died 2000 years ago and Quran 3:144 where the “the messengers before Prophet Muhammad have died” meaning Jesus Isa is dead because Jesus Isa is the messenger before Prophet Muhammad. In Quran 5:117 Jesus died when he lived with the children of Israel 2000 years ago when he was raised by the angel of death). In this are signs (of Allaah) for people who think.

Note 1. Allaah does not take the human body to heaven (Quran 39:42).

Note 2. Only the human soul is raised to heaven (Quran 39:42).

Note 3. The human body is only needed on the Earth (Quran 39:42). .

Note 4. The human body is not needed in heaven (Quran 39:42).

Note 5. The human soul is alive in heaven without a human body (Quran 39:42).

Note 6. What happened to Prophet Jesus Isa on the cross in Quran 4:157 and Quran 4:158 is explained in Quran 39:42.

Note 7. The Quran explains the story of Prophet Jesus in the Gospel Injil of Isa by Mark, Matthew, Luke and John that is with the Christians today as proof that no one can change the word of Allaah and as proof of the truthfulness of the Quran.

Gospel of Mark 8:32 And he was stating the matter plainly. And Peter, taking him aside, started correcting him.

Comment:

Why did Peter correct Jesus?

Peter loved Jesus and Peter did not want Jesus to leave the Earth.

Gospel of Mark 8:33 But he, turning around and seeing his disciples, corrected Peter. And he says, "Get behind me, Satan! For you are not thinking the things of Allaah, but the things of human beings."

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:33.

Gospel of Mark 8:33 But he (Jesus), turning around and seeing his disciples, corrected Peter. And he (Jesus) says, "Get behind me, Satan! For you are not thinking the things of Allaah, but the things of human beings." (The meaning is that Prophet Messenger Messiah Jesus is willingly following the will of Allaah but those who follow the will of humans want to avoid difficulties by following their human will which is guided by Satan when the human will is against what Allaah has willed as being the righteous thing for a human to do.).

Gospel of Mark 8:34 And calling the crowd to him, together with his disciples, he said to them, "If someone wants to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:34.

Gospel of Mark 8:34 And calling the crowd to him (Jesus), together with his disciples, he (Jesus) said to them, "If someone wants to come after me (meaning follow the example of Jesus), he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me (meaning if a person wants to believe in Allaah like Jesus has taught, they must put aside their human desires and follow the will of Allaah and with that burden they will be following the teaching of Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah).

Gospel of Mark 8:35 For whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, and of the good news, will save it.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:35.

Gospel of Mark 8:35 For whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, and of the good news, will save it (meaning whoever tries to save his soul will lose it because only Allaah can save your soul, but whoever will loses their life for the sake of the Good News of life after death that is promised by Allaah and that has been delivered by Jesus will find that Allaah shall save their soul because of their faith in Allaah and His messenger Jesus and His Book, the Gospel).

Gospel of Mark 8:36 For what good will it do a human being to gain the whole world, only to be penalized his soul?

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:36.

Gospel of Mark 8:36 For what good will it do a human being to gain the whole world, only to be penalized his soul? (Meaning what benefit is there for a human to own the whole world for a lifetime if it means that they have hurt their soul in the everlasting Hereafter?)

Gospel of Mark 8:37 And what could a human being tender in trade for his soul?

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:37.

Gospel of Mark 8:37 And what could a human being tender in trade for his soul? (Meaning Allaah is the creator of every creation therefore Allaah needs nothing so what can a human trade for a place in Paradise for their soul? A human can give Allaah nothing that will save their soul except to have obeyed the revealed words of Allaah.).

Gospel of Mark 8:38 For if anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful age, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 8:38.

Gospel of Mark 8:38 For if anyone is ashamed of me (Jesus) and my words in this adulterous and sinful age, the Son of Man (the human Jesus) will also be ashamed of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father (Allaah) with the holy angels." (Meaning those in the days of Jesus who did not follow the message from Allaah will find that Jesus will be a witness against them on the day that Allaah calls witnesses on the Day of Judgement)

Who are the Holy Angels?

Who is the Holy Spirit?

Who is the Holy Ghost?

1. In the Gospel the Holy Spirit is a Holy Angel.

The Holy Spirit is the messenger angel among the Holy angels of Allaah.

The Holy Spirit is the messenger angel among the Holy angels of Allaah.

The Gospel of Mark Chapter 9.

Gospel of Mark 9:1 Then he was saying to them, "Truly I say to you, there are some standing here who will certainly not taste death before they see the kingdom of Allaah having come with power."

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:1.

Gospel of Mark 9:1 Then he (Jesus) was saying to them, "Truly I say to you, there are some standing here who will certainly not taste death before they see the kingdom of Allaah having come with power." (Meaning six days later Jesus will take Peter and James and John to see the kingdom of Allaah having come to earth with power when on the earth on a high mountain they meet Prophet Moses and Prophet Elijah and they hear the created voice of Allaah in the Gospel of Mark 9:2 – 9:8).

What is “the kingdom of Allaah having come with power?”

1. What is the Kingdom of Allaah?

The Kingdom of Allaah is the entire creation.

2. What is with power?

The only one with power is Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

3. Jesus makes a prophecy that “there are some standing here who will certainly not die before they see the kingdom of Allaah having come with power.”

Six days later Jesus takes Peter and James and John to see the kingdom of Allaah having come to earth with power when on the earth on a high mountain they meet Prophet Moses and Prophet Elijah and they hear the created voice of Allaah in the Gospel of Mark 9:2 – 9:8.

The Transfiguration.

Gospel of Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus takes Peter and James and John, and he is leading them up into a high mountain, alone in private. And he was transfigured in front of them,

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:2.

Gospel of Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus takes Peter and James and John, and he (Jesus) is leading them up into a high mountain, alone in private. And he (Jesus) was transfigured (meaning his appearance changed) in front of them (his three disciples),

What is transfigured?

What is transfiguration?

What is transfigure?

Transfigured means a change in appearance.

Transfiguration means a change in appearance.

Transfigure means a change in appearance.

Gospel of Mark 9:3 and his clothes became an exceedingly brilliant white, such as no launderer on earth is able to whiten.

Gospel of Mark 9:4 And Elijah appeared to them, together with Moses, and they were conversing with Jesus.

Comment:

1. Allaah shows His great power over the Kingdom of Allaah.

Allaah shows His power over the creation.

The power of Allaah who is the King of creation and the Father of creation reveals His power over the Kingdom of Allaah when the souls of two prophets from the past briefly appear in physical bodies on the earth talking with Jesus.

Allaah shows that Allaah is the one King of all the creation and that Prophet Elijah, Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus are Allaah’s truthful servants (Allaah’s truthful slaves).

2. What did Allaah reveal about the messengers Allaah would send after Prophet Moses?

Allaah shall send Prophets like Moses.

The messiah is a prophet like Moses.

Torah Deuteronomy 18:15 A prophet (Prophet Joshua Yusha followed by prophet after prophet, messenger after messenger) will the LORD your Allaah raise up to you (the children of Israel), from the midst of you (as happened 3000 years ago with Prophet David Dawud who delivered the Psalms Zabur in your midst presence when you were in the United Kingdom of Israel and Judah today in Israel and Palestine and 2000 years ago with Prophet Jesus Isa who delivered the Gospel Injil in your midst presence when you were in Judea and Galilee today in Israel and Palestine and 1400 years ago with Prophet Muhammad who delivered the Koran Quran in your midst presence when you were in Yathrib Arabia today in Madinah Saudi Arabia), of your brethren (The children of Israel are brothers and brethren to each other. The children of Esau are brothers and brethren to the children of Israel through Jacob Yaqub Israel who is the brother of Esau. The children of Ishmael Ismail are brothers and brethren to the children of Israel through Isaac Ishaq who is the brother of Ishmael Ismail and the father of Jacob Yaqub Israel. Esau and Ishmael Ismail are not one of the children of Israel. The children of Ishmael Ismail are the brethren and brother of the children of Isaac Ishaq which include the children of Israel in the same way as Allaah says the children of Esau who are not the children of Israel are the brethren of the children of Israel in Torah Deuteronomy 2:4 – 2:8 and Prophet Moses Musa says the children of Esau who are not the children of Israel are the brother of the children of Israel in Torah Numbers 20:14. Those who descended from Prophet Abraham Ibrahim are brothers and brethren to each other and brothers and brethren in the religion of Allaah because this is the religion of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and), like (you did) to me (Prophet Moses Musa who delivered the Torah Taurat 3200 years ago in your midst presence when you were at Mount Sinai Horeb today in Egypt); to him (the prophet after prophet that is sent to you from Allaah, the messenger after messenger that is sent to you from Allaah) you shall (also) listen (Note that all the prophets and messengers of Allaah are mentioned in Torah Deuteronomy 18:15. In Torah Genesis 25:9 “Isaac Ishaq and Ishmael Ismail his sons buried Abraham Ibrahim” meaning the children of Isaac Ishaq and the children of Ishmael Ismail arebrothers and brethren to each other meaning the Hebrews and the Arabs are brothers and brethren to each other meaning the Jews and the Muslims are brothers and brethren to each other meaning everyone who follows the religion of Allaah are brothers and brethren to each other as confirmed in Torah Deuteronomy 18:15, 18:18 - 18:22 and Quran 5:68 and Quran 7:157);

Torah Deuteronomy 18:18 (Therefore) I (Allaah) shall raise up for them (the children of Israel) a prophet (Prophet Joshua Yusha followed by prophet after prophet, messenger after messenger) like you (Prophet Moses Musa who delivered the Torah Taurat 3200 years ago when you were at Mount Sinai Horeb today in Egypt) from among their brothers brethren (The children of Israel are brothers and brethren to each other. The children of Esau are brothers and brethren to the children of Israel through Jacob Yaqub Israel who is the brother of Esau. The children of Ishmael Ismail are brothers and brethren to the children of Israel through Isaac Ishaq who is the brother of Ishmael Ismail and the father of Jacob Yaqub Israel. Esau and Ishmael Ismail are not one of the children of Israel. The children of Ishmael Ismail are the brethren and brother of the children of Isaac Ishaq which include the children of Israel in the same way as Allaah says the children of Esau who are not the children of Israel are the brethren of the children of Israel in Torah Deuteronomy 2:4 – 2:8 and Prophet Moses Musa says the children of Esau who are not the children of Israel are the brother of the children of Israel in Torah Numbers 20:14. Those who descended from Prophet Abraham Ibrahim are brothers and brethren to each other and brothers and brethren in the religion of Allaah because this is the religion of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) and I (Allaah through the Holy Spirit Angel Gabriel Jibril) shall put my (Allaah’s) words in the mouth of the prophet (meaning prophet after prophet, messenger after messenger), who shall speak to them (the people) everything that I (Allaah) command him” (to speak to you. Note that all the prophets and messengers of Allaah are mentioned in Torah Deuteronomy 18:18. In Torah Genesis 25:9 “Isaac Ishaq and Ishmael Ismail his sons buried Abraham Ibrahim” meaning the children of Isaac Ishaq and the children of Ishmael Ismail are brothers and brethren to each other meaning the Hebrews and the Arabs are brothers and brethren to each other meaning the Jews and the Muslims are brothers and brethren to each other meaning everyone who follows the religion of Allaah are brothers and brethren to each other as confirmed in Torah Deuteronomy 18:15, 18:18 - 18:22 and Quran 5:68 and Quran 7:157);

Torah Deuteronomy 18:19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not listened to My (Allaah’s) words which he (the prophet after prophet, the messenger after messenger) shall speak in My (Allaah’s) name, I (Allaah) will require it of him (on the Day of Judgement. Note that all the prophets and messengers of Allaah are mentioned in Torah Deuteronomy 18:19. See Quran 5:68 and Quran 7:157 and Torah Deuteronomy 18:15, 18:18 – 18:22);

3. Allaah said “I (Allaah) shall raise up for them a prophet like you (Prophet Moses).”

Moses delivered the children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt.

Elijah was the senior Prophet at a time of many prophets in Israel.

Jesus was the messiah at a time when both Prophet John and Prophet Jesus existed at the same time.

4. Prophet Elijah is not John the Baptist.

The Transfiguration shows that John the Baptist was not Prophet Elijah.

The promised messiah in Tanakh Jewish scripture is named David.

1. The messiah David comes after the last war in Zechariah 12:1-14 not before the last war.

2. The last war is between Israel and Gog.

3. After this war all Israel will repent together to Allaah as a nation in Isaiah 59:20.

4. Then comes Prophet Elijah together with Judah and the lost tribes of Israel on the Day of Resurrection before the great and awesome Day of Judgement in Malachi 3:23 or Malachi 4:5 in a Christian Bible and everyone will repent on the Day of Resurrection in Malachi 3:24 or Malachi 4:6 in a Christian Bible.

5. Then comes the messiah king David on the Day of Judgement in Isaiah 2:4, Hosea 3:5 and Daniel 7:13 and everyone who followed his example by repenting for their sins and corrected their behaviour will be saved by Allaah in Psalm 32:5, Psalm 51:17-19 or Psalm 51:15-17 in a Christian Bible, Ezekiel 18:21-23, 1 Kings 3:14, 1 Kings 11:38 and 2 Kings 22:2 meaning Allaah will judge who was sincere in their repentance when they were living before the Day of Resurrection so that they might live forever and not be destroyed in Daniel 12:2.

5. What is life and death?

The bodies of dead people are on the earth but their souls are alive in heaven waiting for the Day of Judgement, a wait that on the Day of Judgement will seem like they were only waiting for a day or part of a day because at that time they will only remember having been on earth and they will have no memory of being a soul that waited in heaven.

6. What is death?

Allaah has decreed that every human must die.

Death is the sign of a human.

Death is the sign of every creation.

Gospel of Mark 9:5 And Peter is responding and saying to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here, and we should make three shelters, one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah."

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:7.

Gospel of Mark 9:7 And there came a cloud overshadowing them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my beloved Son (meaning servant, Jesus the servant of Allaah, Son of Allaah means servant of Allaah). Listen to him (Jesus who is the prophet and messenger and messiah sent by Allaah as the servant of Allaah)."

1. What does “this is my beloved Son” mean?

My beloved son means “this is my obedient servant.”

The created voice of Allaah said, “This is my obedient servant. Listen to him."

2. Jesus made a prophecy that “there are some standing here who will certainly not die before they see the kingdom of Allaah having come with power.”

Three of the disciples of Jesus namely Peter and James and John did indeed see the Kingdom of Allaah (including the souls of past creations) come with the created voice of Allaah on the earth for a brief time.

Gospel of Mark 9:9 And as they were coming down out of the mountain, he (Jesus told them what Allaah through the Holy Spirit had commanded Jesus to say when Allaah puts the words of Allaah in the mouth of the prophets and messengers and messiahs of Allaah in Torah Deuteronomy 18:18 and) admonished them (his disciples) so that they would not report the things they had seen to anyone, except until such time the Son of Man (the human named Jesus) should rise from the dead (meaning Jesus and his disciples were made to believe that Jesus would die in the same way as Abraham and his son were made to believe that the son of Abraham would die. In the same way as people thought a sleeping child was dead in the Gospel of Mark 5:39 so too would they think that Jesus was dead on the cross because sleep was the way Allaah saved the life of people in the time of Jesus. The faith of Jesus would be tested on the cross because the Holy Spirit did not reveal to Jesus until Jesus passed the test of faith on the cross that Allaah would save the life of Jesus from death on the cross with sleep on the cross from which Jesus would wake up after three days as proof that no one had killed him on the cross or crucified him to death on the cross in the same way as Abraham and his son were not told until they passed the test of faith that the life of the son would be saved from death by Allaah cancelling the sacrifice).

Gospel of Mark 5:39 And when he (Jesus) had come in (to the house of the ruler of the synagogue) he (Jesus) says to them, "Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but sleeping."

1. How does the Quran explain the Gospel of Mark 9:9?

2. What does “rise from the dead” mean?

Just as people thought a sleeping child was dead in the Gospel of Mark 5:39 so too would they think that Jesus was dead.

3. The first sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

The child is not dead but sleeping.

The prophet after Jesus would reveal that Jesus was not dead on the cross.

The body of Jesus was sleeping but the soul of Jesus was with Allaah.

How is it possible for a body to be sleeping and the soul to be with Allaah?

Only the soul of a human is raised to heaven.

The human body is not needed in heaven.

The human body is only needed on the Earth.

See Gospel of Mark 5:39, 12:36 (comments 14, 15 and 16) and 15:37 – 15:38 comments, 16:12 comments.

The Gospel of Mark 5:39 confirms a later revelation that Jesus was not dead on the cross which was revealed by the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him and whose revelations Jesus said would stay on the earth forever in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

Gospel of Mark 9:11 And they queried him, saying, "Why do the Torah scholars say that Elijah has to come first?"

Gospel of Mark 9:12 And he said to them, "Elijah indeed having come first will restore all things. And why is it written about the Son of Man, that he would 'suffer much and be rejected?'

Gospel of Mark 9:13 But I tell you that Elijah has indeed come, and they did to him whatever they wished, just as it is written about him."

Comment:

1. What does “Elijah has indeed come” mean?

Elijah is the prophet that the Jews believe will announce the coming of the Messiah.

In the Gospel, John the baptizer is a spiritual representation of Elijah and John anoints Jesus as the Messiah which is confirmed by the Holy Spirit Angel Gabriel and the created voice of Allaah in the Gospel of Mark 1:1 – 1:13.

In the Gospel of Mark 9:13, Jesus said that Elijah came (spiritually in the form of John the baptizer) and the Jews (meaning, King Herod who was the King of the Jews) did to Prophet John whatever he wished to do to Prophet John as described in the Gospel of Mark 6:14 – 6:29.

Gospel of Mark 9:18 And wherever it seizes him, it convulses him. And he foams at the mouth, and gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive it out, and they did not have the power."

Comment:

What does “they did not have the power” mean?

Miracles are not granted by Allaah when there is disbelief.

Gospel of Mark 9:19 And in answer to them, he says, "O unbelieving generation, how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him to me."

Comment:

Jesus confirmed there was disbelief.

Jesus confirms that there was no miracle because there was disbelief by those who requested the miracle.

Gospel of Mark 9:20 And they brought him to him. And seeing Jesus, the spirit immediately convulsed him violently, and falling onto the ground, he was rolling over, foaming at the mouth.

Gospel of Mark 9:22 And it has often thrown him into both fire or water, trying to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."

Gospel of Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, "'If I can'? All things are possible to one who believes."

Gospel of Mark 9:25 Then Jesus, seeing that a crowd is running together, rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him. And you may no longer go into him."

Gospel of Mark 9:26 And it came out, with shrieking and much convulsing. And he appeared as dead, so as to cause many to say, "He's dead."

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:26.

Gospel of Mark 9:26 And it (the evil spirit) came out (of the body of the man in where it had lived since the man was a child), with shrieking and much convulsing. And he (that man) appeared as (if he was) dead, so as to cause many to say, "He's dead."

1. In the time of Jesus when Allaah saved humans they appeared to be dead.

Quran 4:157 Koran 4:157 And they (some of the Jews of Yathrib in Arabia later Medina Arabia today Madinah Saudi Arabia) said (showing their pride and their disbelief by threatening and mocking the messenger Prophet Muhammad and his followers by boasting), "We killed messiah Jesus Isa, the son of Mary Maryam, the messenger of Allaah," but (in fact) they did not kill him (on the cross) nor crucify him (to death on the cross), but it was made to appear so to them (so they believed he was dead on the cross because his body was not moving but in fact he was still alive and sleeping on the cross as explained in Quran 4:158 and 39:42) and those (Jews of Yathrib Arabia) who differ in this (in what happened to Prophet Jesus Isa on the cross) are full of doubts with no (certain) knowledge so they (the Jews of Yathrib) follow only conjecture (assumptions, speculation, guess). It is certain that they (the Jews) did not kill him (because Allaah protected Prophet Jesus Isa from the death of crucifixion in 607 BH 33 CE 33 AD on Friday 3 April 33 in Jerusalem Al-Quds Yerussalem Yerushalayim in Judea today in Israel and Palestine and this is confirmed in the Gospel Injil where Jesus Isa is seen alive three days after the crucifixion teaching that he is not Allaah in the Gospel of John 20:17, Quran 5:72, Quran 5:117 and Quran 19:36 by saying Allaah is my Allaah and your Allaah meaning Allaah is my Father and your Father meaning Allaah is my Creator and your Creator meaning Allaah is my Master and your Master meaning Allaah is my Lord and your Lord as proof that no one had killed him on the cross or crucified him to death on the cross. 2000 years ago Allaah saved the life of humans with sleep so that their body did not move making everyone think they were dead in the Injil Gospel of Mark 5:39 "... The child is not dead but sleeping", Gospel of Matthew 9:24 "... For the maiden meaning the girl has not died but sleeps ..." and the Gospel of Luke 8:52 "... She is not dead but sleeping". To prepare to test the faith of Prophet Jesus Isa by the threat of death by crucifixion Allaah through the Holy Spirit removed from the mind of Prophet Jesus Isa the earlier events where Allaah had saved people with sleep that looked like death by revealing the story of Lazarus in the Injil Gospel of John 11:11 – 11:14 where the Holy Spirit reveals to Jesus that sleep for Lazarus means Lazarus is dead. This was done so that Prophet Jesus Isa will believe he will die in the same way as Prophet Abraham Ibrahim believed his son would die. Prophet Jesus Isa passed the test of faith in Allaah and Allaah saved Prophet Jesus Isa like Allaah saved the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim so that Prophet Jesus Isa could continue his life on the earth when Allaah returned the soul from heaven to wake up the sleeping body on the earth as Allaah had done before in the Gospel of Luke 8:54 – 8:55 “…"Damsel meaning girl, wake up!" And her spirit returned, and she stood up at once, and he ordered that she be given something to eat. This was proof that she was alive and not dead. After the crucifixion Prophet Jesus Isa was alive on the earth as proof that no one killed him on the cross or crucified him to death. After the crucifixion Prophet Jesus Isa taught the people that he is not Allaah until his natural death 2000 years ago in Quran 5:75, Quran 3:144, Quran 5:117 and in all the four Gospels Injil. It is in the life of Prophet Jesus Isa after the crucifixion that Jesus told the people that he is not Allaah so that no one will be able to claim in the hereafter that Prophet Jesus Isa did not tell them he is not Allaah in the Gospel of John 20:17, Quran 5:72, Quran 5:117 and Quran 19:36).

In Quran 5:117 Jesus died when he lived with the children of Israel 2000 years ago when he was raised by the angel of death). In this are signs (of Allaah) for people who think.

Gospel of Mark 9:27 But Jesus, taking him by the hand, lifted him, and he stood up.

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:27.

Gospel of Mark 9:27 But Jesus, taking him (the man whose body was free of the evil spirit) by the hand, lifted him, and he (that man) stood up (as proof that he was not dead but alive).

Gospel of Mark 9:28 And after he went into a house, his disciples asked him in private: "Why weren't we able to drive it out?"

Gospel of Mark 9:29 And he told them, "This kind cannot be made to go out by anything except prayer."

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:29.

Gospel of Mark 9:29 And he (Jesus) told them (his disciples), "This kind (of evil spirit) cannot be made to go out by anything (when some people are disbelieving) except prayer (to Allaah which is what Jesus did when with the permission of Allaah, Jesus as the messenger of Allaah commanded the evil spirit to come out)."

What does, “this kind cannot be made to go out by anything except prayer" mean?

1. The people had little faith in the disciples saying, “I asked your disciples to drive it out, and they did not have the power" in the Gospel of Mark 9:18.

2. They also doubted Jesus and Jesus showed them their doubt when he said “If I can?” in the Gospel of Mark 9:23.

3. Jesus said “All things are possible to the person who believes” in the Gospel of Mark 9:23.

4. But the people had doubt so when the disciples asked Jesus "Why weren't we able to drive the evil spirit out?" in the Gospel of Mark 9:28, Jesus said "This kind cannot be made to go out by anything except prayer."

5. When the people have doubt Allaah will not grant a miracle so the only thing humans can do is to pray and ask Allaah to forgive our doubt and grant that miracle.

6. Jesus prayed in his heart for Allaah to grant that miracle after the boy’s father cried out saying, "I do believe!  Help my unbelief"

Galilee is north of Judea. Galilee today is in northern Israel.

Gospel of Mark 9:31 because he was teaching his disciples. And he told them, "The Son of Man is being transferred into the hands of human beings. And they will kill him. And three days after being killed, he will rise again."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:31.

1. What does “they will kill Jesus” mean?

Jesus prophecies that in the future they (the elders and the chief priests and the Torah scholars will believe that they) will kill him. And three days after (what would look like he was) being killed (on the cross), he (Jesus) will rise again (as proof that no one killed him on the cross or crucified him to death on the cross)."

2. How does the Quran explain the Gospel of Mark 9:31 and 8:31?

3. What does “The Son of Man is being transferred into the hands of human beings” mean?

Allaah is the creator.

Humans are creations.

It is Allaah who tests humans.

Every human is tested in their life and on the Day of Judgement every human will be shown if they chose to do good or evil.

Allaah protected Jesus by sending angels to care for Jesus but Allaah will briefly allow those who live in the time of Jesus to choose to do good or evil to Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah so that what they decide can be shown to them on the Day of Judgement as proof that Allaah’s judgement of them is correct.

Jesus will be put in the hands of those who say they want to kill Jesus so that they can show to Allaah what they would really do to Allaah’s messenger if Allaah allowed them to do it.

4. What does “And they will kill him” mean?

And they (will believe that they) will kill him.

5. What does “three days after being killed he will rise again” mean?

The first sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

Three days after people thought that Jesus had been killed Jesus woke up.

Just as people thought a sleeping child was dead in the Gospel of Mark 5:39 so too would they think that Jesus was dead.

The child is not dead but sleeping.

The prophet after Jesus would reveal that Jesus was not dead on the cross.

The body of Jesus was sleeping but the soul of Jesus was with Allaah.

How is it possible for a body to be sleeping and the soul to be with Allaah?

See Gospel of Mark 5:39, 12:36 (comments 14, 15 and 16) and 15:37 – 15:38 comments, 16:12 comments.

The Gospel of Mark 5:39 confirms the later revelation that Jesus was not dead on the cross which was revealed by the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus and whose revelations Jesus said would stay on the earth forever in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

Gospel of Mark 9:32 But they did not understand the statement, and they were afraid to query him.

Who is the greatest?

Gospel of Mark 9:33 And they came to Capernaum. And when he was in the house, he asked them, "What were you arguing about on the way?"

Comment:

Where is Capernaum?

Capernaum was a fishing village on the Sea of Galilee in Galilee today in northern Israel.

Gospel of Mark 9:34 But they were keeping quiet, because on the way they had argued over who was greater.

Comment:

Who is greater?

Who is the greatest among humans?

Gospel of Mark 9:35 And sitting down, he called the Twelve and says to them, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all, and servant of all."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:35.

Gospel of Mark 9:35 And sitting down, he (Jesus) called the Twelve (disciples) and says to them, "If anyone wants to be first (the greatest), he must be last of all (by putting their self  interest last), and (being a) servant of all (the people)."

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:31. But many first ones (who want to be the greatest among people by putting their self interest first) will be last (meaning unsuccessful in the hereafter), and the last ones (meaning those who serve the people by putting their self interest last will be) first (meaning successful in the hereafter)."

What does “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all, and servant of all" mean?

The greatest among humans is the person who puts them self and their interests last by being the servant to all people.

Gospel of Mark 9:36 And taking a child he set him in the midst of them. And wrapping him in his arms, he said to them,

Gospel of Mark 9:37 "Whoever welcomes one child like this on the basis of my name, is welcoming me; and whoever welcomes me is welcoming not me but the one who sent me."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:37.

Gospel of Mark 9:37 "Whoever welcomes one child like this on the basis of my name (Jesus who is the prophet and messenger sent by Allaah), is welcoming me; and whoever welcomes me is welcoming not me (Jesus who is the prophet and messenger sent by Allaah) but the one (Allaah) who sent me (meaning if you accept the message delivered by Jesus in the Gospel then you have accepted the message that Allaah has sent to you in the same way as if you accepted the message delivered by Moses in the Torah then you have accepted the message that Allaah has sent to you)."

What does “whoever welcomes me is welcoming not me but the one who sent me” mean?

Jesus said “whoever welcomes me is welcoming not me but the one who sent me” in the Gospel of Mark 9:37 which means whoever says something in the name of Jesus are acknowledging that all power comes from Allaah who is the creator of every creation and that Jesus is the created obedient human servant who is the messenger of Allaah.

Whoever accepts the message from Jesus also accepts Allaah because Jesus is a prophet of Allaah.

Whoever accepts the message from Jesus also accepts Allaah because Jesus is a messenger of Allaah.

Whoever accepts the message from Jesus also accepts Allaah because Jesus is the messiah meaning the one anointed as the servant of Allaah.

Jesus obeys the commands of Allaah so whoever accepts the message from Jesus is obeying the commands Allaah has passed on to humans through Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah.

Do not hinder other camps of Allaah's little ones,

Gospel of Mark 9:38 John said to him, "Teacher, we saw someone who is not following with us driving out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he was not following with us."

Gospel of Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him, for there is no one who shall do a miracle on the basis of my name, who can then be quick to speak evil of me;

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:39.

Gospel of Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him, for there is no one who shall do a miracle on the basis of my name (by saying I pray to Allaah in the name of Jesus who is the prophet and messenger of Allaah and I ask Allaah to allow this miracle), who can then be quick to speak evil of me (Jesus who is the prophet and messenger sent by Allaah);

What does “do a miracle on the basis of my name” mean?

2. Miracles in the time of Jesus were done in his name and the Gospel of Mark 9:37 explains that in his name means that Jesus is the messenger of Allaah but it is for Allaah that all things are done and it is for Allaah that all thanks is given and it is to Allaah that all prayer must go.

3. No one deserves thanks more than Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

4. All things are done for Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

5. No one has the power to hear prayer except Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

6. In the name of Jesus means “I pray to Allaah in the name of Jesus who is the prophet and messenger of Allaah and I ask Allaah to allow this miracle.”

7. Allaah is the creator who created every creation.

8. Jesus is a creation called the Son of Man which means the Jesus is created as a human like Adam who was the first human.

9. Jesus is a creation called the Son of Allaah which means the obedient human servant of Allaah.

Allaah does not literally (in reality) have children or wives because only creations need such things.

The creator has no need for children and wives.

Son is used as a metaphor (symbolically, not in reality) as a title of honour

Gospel of Mark 9:41 For whoever gives you a cup of water (meaning assistance) because you are of Christ (meaning because you are obeying what Jesus delivered in the Gospel), truly I tell you: he (the person who assists you) will by no means lose his reward (in the hereafter).

What does Christ mean?

1. Christ or Messiah is a title meaning the anointed one, the one who is blessed by Allaah.

John baptized Jesus and the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel descended from heaven and the created voice of Allaah confirmed pleasure in the anointment of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark 1:9.

2. For whoever gives you a cup of water (meaning assistance) because you are a follower of Jesus who is a messenger from Allaah, truly I tell you: they will by no means lose their reward (in the hereafter).

Gospel of Mark 9:42 And whoever causes one of these believing little ones to fall, it would be better for him to wear a millstone around his neck and be thrown into the depths of the sea.

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:42.

Gospel of Mark 9:42 And whoever causes one of these believing little ones to fall (by not assisting them), it would be better for him to wear a millstone (meaning a heavey weight) around his neck and be thrown into the depths of the sea (because their punishment will be even more severe in the hereafter).

Gospel of Mark 9:43 "And if your hand causes you to fall, cut it off. It is better for you to go into life maimed, than with both hands to go away into Gehenna, into the fire unquenchable,

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:43.

Gospel of Mark 9:43 "And if your hand causes you to fall (by committing sin with your hands, then), cut it off. It is better for you to go into life maimed, than with both hands to go away into Gehenna (Hell), into the fire unquenchable (the never ending punishment of fire in the hereafter. This verse is teaching people to do what is good and avoid what is evil by describing why it is better to cut off your hand than to do what is evil. This is not a command to cut off your hand),

What is Gehenna?

Gehenna is Hell where an everlasting punishment exists in the Hereafter for those who did evil in their first life and failed to repent and failed to pray to Allaah for forgiveness.

Gospel of Mark 9:44 where” ‘their worm never dies, and the fire is never quenched.'

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:44.

Gospel of Mark 9:44 where” ‘their worm never dies (meaning where punishment for evil behaviour never ends), and the fire is never quenched (meaning and the punishment of fire is everlasting).'

The Quran confirm the Gospel regarding Gehenna.

In Hell punishment for evil behaviour never ends and the punishment of fire is everlasting.

Gospel of Mark 9:49 For everyone will be salted with fire.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:49.

Gospel of Mark 9:49 For (the salt meaning the faith of) everyone will be (tested by being) salted with fire (meaning some evil in their life, to show to them in the hereafter if they choose what was good or what was evil).

1. What is salt? Faith.

2. What is fire? A test.

3. Everyone’s faith shall be tested in the world.

Gospel of Mark 9:50 "Salt is good, but if the salt becomes bland, what will you spice it with? Have salt in yourselves, and cultivate peace among each other."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 9:50.

Gospel of Mark 9:50 "Salt (meaning faith) is good, but if the salt becomes bland (meaning if you lose your faith), what will you spice it with (meaning how will you get your faith back)? Have salt (faith) in yourselves, and cultivate peace among each other."

1. What does "salt is good, but if the salt becomes bland, what will you spice it with” mean?

Faith is good, but if faith is lost how will you get it back?

2. What does “have salt in yourselves, and cultivate peace among each other" mean?

Have faith in yourselves and spread faith among each other.

Gospel of Mark 10:1 And getting up to leave from there, he goes into the territory of Judea and beyond the Jordan. And once again, crowds are going along with him, and as was his custom he again was teaching them.

Comment:

Where is Judea?

Judea is south of Galilee.

The Roman province of Judea included Jerusalem, Jericho and Samaria today in Southern Israel and Palestine.

Where is beyond the Jordan?

Beyond the Jordan is east of the Jordan River today in Jordan.

Gospel of Mark 10:2 And some Pharisees came and, testing him, asked him, "Is it permissible for a husband to release a wife?"

Comment:

Who are the Pharisees?

In the time of Prophet Jesus a Jewish sect called the Pharisees believed in the written Torah, the oral law (Jewish stories, Jewish hadith) and the resurrection of the dead.

The Pharisees were in Judea today Southern Israel and Palestine in the period of the second Jewish Temple in Jerusalem from the second century BCE until the destruction of the second Jewish Temple in 569 BH (70 CE) after which much of today’s traditional Judaism was the result.

Jewish Rabbis of today developed from the religious Pharisee tradition.

Today Pharisee means Orthodox Jew.

The teachings by some in Christianity about Jesus did not come from Judaism but from the Greek Roman world of idol worship as seen when humans pray to Jesus and Mary and dead human saints instead of praying direct to Allaah as taught by every prophet in the Jewish Scriptures.

Jesus prayed to Allaah in all the four Gospels in the same way as all the Jews in his time all prayed directly to Allaah.

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:4.

Gospel of Mark 10:4 They said, "Moses permitted one to write a release of interest form and to release (two people from the marriage)."

Gospel of Mark 10:5 And Jesus said to them, "It was in view of the hardness of your hearts he wrote you this instruction.

Jesus explains a law from the time of Moses.

Jesus explains that a law from Moses was made because of the insistence of the people (the hardness of their hearts).

Gospel of Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of creation he 'made them male and female.'

Comment:

Who is He?

He is Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

For example Jesus is a creation who is created by Allaah.

Humans are creations who are created by Allaah.

Jinn are creations who are created by Allaah.

Angels including the Holy Spirit are creations who are created by Allaah.

The unclean spirits are demons (jinn who follow Satan) and they are creations who are created by Allaah.

The clean spirits are the jinn who follow Allaah are creations who are created by Allaah

The clean spirits are the Angels including the Holy Spirit and they are creations who are created by Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 10:7 For this reason, a human being shall leave his father and mother,

Gospel of Mark 10:8 and the two shall become one flesh. As a result, they are no longer two, but one flesh.

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:8.

Gospel of Mark 10:8 and the two (a husband and a wife) shall become one flesh. As a result, they are no longer two (people), but one flesh (by marriage).

Gospel of Mark 10:9 What therefore Allaah has joined together, a human being must not separate."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:9.

Gospel of Mark 10:9 What (two people) therefore Allaah has joined together (in marriage), a human being must not separate."

Jesus explains the law of Allaah in the matter of marriage.

Jesus explained that a law made by Moses was because of the insistence of the people in the Gospel of Mark 10:5.

Jesus teaches people to honour their marriage for life.

Gospel of Mark 10:10 And when back in the house, the disciples were questioning him about this.

Gospel of Mark 10:11 And he says to them, "Whoever releases his wife and marries another commits adultery against her,

Comment:

1. Jesus explains the meaning of marriage.

Jesus explains that while a wife or husband are alive, if you divorce (separate) and marry another then you have committed adultery because what Allaah has joined together in marriage a human must not separate. See Gospel of Mark 10:9.

2. How does the Quran explain the differences between the law of adultery and divorce in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Quran?

See 1. Quran 2:106 comments in Quran chapter 2.

See 2. Quran 13:39 comments in Quran chapter 13.

Gospel of Mark 10:12 and if she after releasing her husband marries another, she commits adultery."

Comment:

Jesus explains that if you divorce or separate then you cannot remarry until your former partner has died otherwise you have committed adultery.

Jesus showed those who tested him that he knew not only the law but the reason behind the law and Jesus returned to the original law for which Allaah had created marriage.

That original law that made two people into one was changed in the time of Moses because of the insistence of the people (the hardness of their hearts).

Today the Gospel of Mark 10:9 “what Allaah has joined together, let no one separate” is part of the Christian marriage ceremony.

Little children come to Jesus.

Gospel of Mark 10:13 And people were bringing little children to him to have him touch them, but the disciples scolded them.

Comment:

The disciples of Jesus scolded the people who were bringing little children to Jesus.

Gospel of Mark 10:14 Seeing this, Jesus was indignant, and said to them, "Let the little children come to me. Do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Allaah is made of such as these.

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:17.

Gospel of Mark 10:17 And as he (Jesus) was going forth onto the road, someone ran up to him and fell on his knees before him (Jesus), asking him (Jesus), "Good teacher, what should I do so that I will inherit eternal life?"

Gospel of Mark 10:18 And Jesus said to him, "Why are you calling me good? No one is good except one, Allaah.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:18.

Gospel of Mark 10:18 And (making it clear that he is not Allaah) Jesus said to him, "Why are you calling me good? No one is good except one, Allaah.

1. The Quran and the Gospel both confirm that Jesus is not Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 10:17 And as he (Jesus Isa) was going forth onto the road, someone ran up to him and fell on his knees before him (Jesus Isa), asking him (Jesus Isa), "Good teacher, what should I do so that I will inherit eternal life?"

Gospel of Mark 10:18 And (making it clear that he is not Allaah) Jesus said to him, "Why are you calling me good?  No one is good except one, Allaah.

Quran 19:93 Koran 19:93 There is no one in the heavens and the earth who does not come to the Most Merciful (Allaah) except as a servant.

Jesus said "Why are you calling me good?  No one is good except one, Allaah.

Jesus said no one is good except one, Allaah.

Every human prophet and messenger from Allaah revealed that goodness is with Allaah.

Jesus is a human prophet and messenger from Allaah.

The wealthy man called Jesus good but when Jesus later told the man what to do the man did not do it.

The wealthy man rejected the message of Jesus who he called his good teacher.

The wealthy man rejected the advice of Jesus who is the prophet and messenger from Allaah and so the wealthy man rejected Allaah by rejecting the message from Allaah’s messenger.

The wealthy man called Jesus good because the wealthy man lived for wealth on the earth.

Jesus said what is good is not what is on the earth but good is what is with Allaah.

Jesus said that when you think of good think of Allaah so that you remember to follow Allaah.

In the same way Jesus also said when you think of Father think of Allaah so that you always remember to obey Allaah.

In the same way Jesus said who ever is obedient to the will of Allaah is my brother, my sister and my mother which again means that the words brother, sister and mother is a way to remember Allaah and a way to remember to follow the will of Allaah.

A well known expression which shows this meaning is when people greeting each other as brothers in religion or sisters in religion as a way to remember Allaah.

This shows how some words are used to help humans to remember Allaah.

In the Torah the Son of Allaah is the title of honour for the children of Israel so that Jews always remember to obey Allaah.

In the Gospel the Son of Allaah is the title of honour for Jesus because the Gospel is the story of one of the children of Israel Prophet Jesus who is the obedient servant of Allaah.

The Quran reminds the Jews in Yathrib, Arabia that Allaah has no wife and no children so that they understand that words such as Son of Allaah which is in the Torah are words to be used correctly to remember to obey Allaah and they are not words to be used wrongfully to make themselves to be above other humans.

When one human imagines they are above another human by misusing the words Son of Allaah to incorrectly mean that Jews shall receive special treatment on the Day of Judgement because they are the sons of Allaah is a sign of arrogance and pride that puts love for yourself above your love of Allaah.

Instead of using this title of honour to remember Allaah by raising Allaah they use it incorrectly to raise themselves.

The Quran reminds the Christians that Allaah has no wife and no children so that they understand that words such as Son of Allaah which is in the Gospel are words to be used correctly to remember to obey Allaah and they are not words to are be used wrongfully by imagining that the human Jesus is Allaah because every creation in heaven and on earth can only be a servant of Allaah.

The only people that believe that a human can be a god are idol worshippers who are confused and mistaken because they imagine that a creation is the creator.

The title the Son of Allaah meaning the servant of Allaah is not a way for humans to make themselves above other humans or a way to claim that a human is anything more than a servant of Allaah (a slave of Allaah).

The title the Son of Allaah is not a partnership of sharing power with Allaah because everything in the heavens and in the earth is a creation under the authority of the one creator.

The creator does not share His power with creations because sharing the power of Allaah with a creation would turn that creation into another Allaah which would mean there would be two Allaahs.

Allaah is one Allaah in the Torah, Gospel and Quran.

Quran 19:93 Koran 19:93 There is no one in the heavens and the earth who does not come to the Most Merciful (Allaah) except as a servant.

2. The Quran confirms that Allaah is incomparable and far above any creation.

Allaah is good.

Allaah is unique.

Allaah is incomparable.

Allaah is without equal.

Allaah is unrivaled.

Allaah is unparalleled.

Allaah is unsurpassed.

Allaah is unmatched.

Humans think highly of themselves especially when humans compare themselves to other creations.

Allaah the Father who is the creator of every creation including the creator of the Universe and the creator of the creatures that Allaah has scattered throughout the Universe is far higher and far greater than any of His creations. To think otherwise is human arrogance and human pride.

Quran 16:8 Koran 16:8 And (Allaah created) horses and mules and donkeys (asses, so) that you may ride and use (them) for show (to enjoy). And He (Allaah) creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge.

Quran 36:36 Koran 36:36 Exalted is He (Allaah) who created all the sexual pairs (of creatures) on the earth including themselves (the humans) and others (meaning, other life forms) which they (the humans) do not know about.

Quran 42:29 Koran 42:29 And among His (Allaah’s) signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and of the creatures that He (Allaah) has scattered in them (the heavens and the earth). And He (Allaah) is able to gather them (creatures) when He (Allaah) will (on the Day of Judgement).

Gospel of Mark 10:19 The commandments you know: Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.'"

Gospel of Mark 10:20 And he said to him, "Teacher, all these I have kept since my youth."

Gospel of Mark 10:21 And as Jesus is looking at him, he loved him and said to him, "One thing you are lacking. Go sell what things you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come follow me."

Gospel of Mark 10:22 But he with face aghast because of this word, went away regretting, for he was owner of much property.

Comment:

Jesus is a human prophet and messenger from Allaah.

The wealthy man rejected the idea of following Jesus who was the prophet and messenger of Allaah.

The wealthy man rejected Allaah by rejecting the prophet and messenger of Allaah.

The wealthy man wanted to keep his wealth more than he wanted Allaah.

The wealthy man believed that what is good is on the earth and not in heaven.

Gospel of Mark 10:23 And looking around, Jesus says to his disciples, "How hard it will be for the ones who have wealth to enter the kingdom of Allaah."

Gospel of Mark 10:24 The disciples were astonished at his words. But in response Jesus says to them again, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter into the kingdom of Allaah."

Comment:

The camel passing through the eye of a needle in the Gospel and in the Quran.

Gospel of Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter into the kingdom of Allaah."

Gospel of Matthew 19:24 Again I (Prophet Jesus Isa) say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Allaah.

Gospel of Luke 18:25 Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for the rich to enter into the kingdom of Allaah."

Quran 7:40 Koran 7:40 Those who reject Our (Allaah’s) revelations and ridicule them shall find that the gates of heaven shall not be opened to them nor shall they enter the Garden (of Paradise) until the camel passes through the eye of a needle (meaning, they can never enter Paradise because a camel cannot pass through the small hole in a needle). This is how We (Allaah) reward the guilty (for their sins).

Gospel of Mark 10:26 And they became even more astonished, saying to each other, "Who, then, can be saved?"

Gospel of Mark 10:27 Jesus looking at them says, "With human beings it is impossible, but not with Allaah. For all things are possible with Allaah."

Gospel of Mark 10:28 Peter began to tell him, "Behold how we have left everything and followed you."

Gospel of Mark 10:29 Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mothers or children or fields for my sake and for the cause of the good news,

Comment:

1. What does “for my sake” mean?

For my sake means for the sake of assisting Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah.

A person who assists a messenger of Allaah shows their belief in Allaah.

2. What does “for the cause of the good news” mean?

For the cause of the good news means working to help Jesus pass the message of Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 10:30 who will not receive a hundred times as much in this present time, of houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, along with persecutions, and, in the coming age, eternal life.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:30.

Gospel of Mark 10:30 who will not receive a hundred times as much in this present time, of houses (in which they shall shelter) and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields (to whom they shall preach), along with persecutions, and, in the coming age (meaning in the hereafter, they shall have), eternal life.

What is “in the coming age” mean?

The coming age is in the Hereafter on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement and it is the second life of humans in eternal reward in Paradise or in eternal punishment in Hell.

The Quran confirms the Gospel.

Quran 17:60 Koran 17:60 “....We (Allaah) warn (people) and make them afraid (of the punishment in Hellfire) but it only increases them in nothing but greater disobedience against Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 10:31 But many first ones will be last, and the last ones first."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:31.

Gospel of Mark 10:31 But many first ones (who want to be the greatest among people by putting their self interest first) will be last (meaning unsuccessful in the hereafter), and the last ones (meaning those who serve the people by putting their self interest last will be) first (meaning successful in the hereafter)."

Gospel of Mark 9:35 And sitting down, he (Jesus) called the Twelve (disciples) and says to them, "If anyone wants to be first (the greatest), he must be last of all (by putting their self  interest last), and (being a) servant of all (the people)."

What does “many first ones will be last, and the last ones first” mean?

First ones will be last means?

People who put their own interest above Allaah and above the interest of other humans will be in a position in Hell that is below other humans in Paradise.

Last ones will be first means?

People who put their own interests aside to serve Allaah and to serve other humans will be in a position in Paradise that is above other humans in Hell in the Hereafter.

People who put their own interests last to serve Allaah and to serve other humans will be in a position in Paradise that is above other humans in Hell in the Hereafter.

Jesus again predicts his death.

Comment:

Gospel of Mark 10:32 And they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on ahead of them; they were stunned, while those following were fearing. And taking the Twelve aside again, he began to tell them the things about to happen to him.

Comment:

Where is Jerusalem?

Jerusalem (Al-Quds, Yerussalem, Yerushalayim) in the time of Jesus in the first century was in the Roman province of Judea today in southern Israel and Palestine.

Jerusalem (Al-Quds, Yerussalem, Yerushalayim) was the location of the second Jewish Temple of Allaah and therefore the centre of Jewish traditional religious life.

Gospel of Mark 10:33 "See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the Torah scholars. And they will condemn him to death, and hand him over to the Gentiles.

Comments:

1. Who are the Gentiles?

The Gentiles are those who are not from the children of Israel.

The Gentiles are those who are not Jewish.

In the time of Jesus, Judea was ruled by the laws of the Roman Empire so the Gentiles were the Roman authorities.

2. What did the Gentiles believe?

In the time of Jesus, Romans believed in the idol worship of many gods.

3. What did the Jews believe?

In the time of Jesus, the Jews in Judea believed in only one Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

4. What did Jesus believe?

Jesus is a Jew from the children of Israel who believes what all Jews from the children of Israel believed which is that there is only one Allaah who is the creator of every creation and that only Allaah has the power to hear prayer. See the Gospel of Mark 12:28 – 12:34

Gospel of Mark 10:34 And they will mock him, and spit on him, and flog him, and execute him. And after three days he will rise again."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:34.

Gospel of Mark 10:34 (Jesus continued telling his disciples what Allaah through the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel had revealed to Jesus by saying) And they will mock him (Jesus), and spit on him, and flog him, and (they will believe that they) execute him (Jesus). And after three days he (Jesus) will rise again (as proof that no one killed him on the cross)."

1. Allaah revealed the future to Jesus who then passed the revelation of what people will see with their eyes.

2. The Quran explains the Gospel by showing that Allaah tested the faith of Jesus with the threat of death on the cross like Allaah tested the faith of Abraham with the threat of the death of his son.

Gospel of Mark 10:34 (Jesus told his disciples what Allaah through the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel had revealed to Jesus by saying) And they will mock him (Jesus), and spit on him, and flog him, and (they will believe that they) execute him (Jesus). And after three days he (Jesus) will rise again (as proof that no one killed him on the cross)."

Quran 4:158 Koran 4:158 Allaah raised him (the soul of Prophet Jesus Isa) up to Himself (Allaah, to protect the life of Jesus Isa as explained in Quran 39:42 where Allaah raises the soul up to Himself causing the human body on the earth to sleep and make everyone think Jesus Isa was dead because his body was not moving in Quran 4:157. Allaah returned the soul of Jesus Isa causing his human body on the earth to wake up three days later as proof that no one killed Jesus Isa on the cross and no one crucified him to death on the cross. This is confirmed because Jesus Isa is seen alive three days after the crucifixion delivering the message that he is not Allaah in the Gospel of John 20:17, Quran 5:72, Quran 5:117 and Quran 19:36 by saying Allaah is my Allaah and your Allaah meaning Allaah is my Father and your Father meaning Allaah is my Creator and your Creator meaning Allaah is my Master and your Master meaning Allaah is my Lord and your Lord). Allaah is all powerful (able to do all things) and He (Allaah) is all wise.

3. The next prophet after Jesus will reveal the difference between what people saw with their eyes and what Allaah had decreed to help Allaah’s faithful servant Jesus and as proof to the Jews that according to the Torah, Jesus is a truthful prophet because Allaah protected Jesus who is Allaah’s obedient messenger.

In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15 Jesus like every prophet before him said that another prophet will come after him.

The first sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel.

How could Jesus be alive on the cross as revealed by the prophet after Jesus?

How could Jesus not be dead on the cross as revealed by the prophet after Jesus?

Gospel of Mark 10:38 And Jesus said to them, "You don't know what you are asking. Are you able, to drink the cup I am drinking, or to be baptized the baptism I am being baptized?"

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:38.

Gospel of Mark 10:38 And Jesus said to them (the two disciples of Jesus), "You don't know what you are asking. Are you able, to drink the cup (by doing the task) I am drinking (meaning that Allaah has told me to do), or to be baptized the baptism (of faith when the faith of Jesus will be tested with the threat of death on the cross) I am being baptized (which they do not understand would mean their death on the cross because the man on the cross at the right side of Jesus and the man on the cross on the left side of Jesus Isa would both die by crucifixion)?"

Gospel of Mark 10:39 And they said to him, "We are able." And Jesus said to them, "The cup which I drink you will drink, and the baptism I am baptized you will be baptized.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:39.

Gospel of Mark 10:39 And they (the two disciples of Jesus not knowing the meaning of the glory of Jesus and not knowing it would mean their death if they were on a cross on the left side and on a cross on the right side of Jesus) said to him, "We are able." And Jesus said to them, "The cup which I drink you will drink (leading to death), and the baptism I am baptized (meaning by doing what Allaah has decreed) you will be baptized (because every human must die and every human must do the test that Allaah has decreed for them).

Gospel of Mark 10:40 But to sit on my right or on my left is not for me to grant; they belong rather to those for whom they have already been prepared."

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:40.

Gospel of Mark 10:40 But to sit on my right (side on a cross) or on my left (side on a cross) is not for me (Jesus the prophet and messenger and messiah) to grant; they (meaning the position of who will be on the left side and the right side of Jesus on three crosses) belong rather to those for whom they have already been prepared (for by Allaah who has decreed all things)."

1. The Quran explains why Jesus Isa was not able to grant the wish of his two disciples that they be on his right side on a cross and on his left side on a cross when Jesus and two others were to be crucified next to each other on three crosses.

Allaah had decreed everything and Jesus had no power to change what Allaah had decreed.

Quran 19:93 Koran 19:93 There is no one in the heavens and the earth who does not come to the Most Merciful (Allaah) except as a servant.

Note 1. Every creation is a servant of Allaah because Allaah is the creator of every creation.

Quran 30:30 Koran 30:30 So direct yourself (Prophet Muhammad) towards the religion (the belief in one creator) for which He (Allaah who is the one and only creator) has created (religion for) humans. No one can alter what Allaah has created (in religion, in the Torah Taurat, the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran). That is the right religion (belief), but most people do not know (this).

Note 1. Creations do not have the power to change what Allaah has decreed.

Gospel of Mark 10:41 And when the ten heard, they began to be angry about James and John.

Comment:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:41.

Gospel of Mark 10:41 And when the ten (disciples of Jesus) heard (what the two disciples of Jesus had heard), they began to be angry about James and John.

Gospel of Mark 10:42 And Jesus calling them together says to them, "You know that the ones considered to be rulers among the nations, lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

Gospel of Mark 10:43 Not so among you. Instead, whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,

Comments:

1. What does “whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant.”

The greatest person is the person who is a servant to all others who are around them because that shows that the servant is more interested to help other people than to help them self.

The person who is the last will be the first in the Hereafter.

The greatest person among humans is the person who puts them self and their interests last by being the servant to all people.

2. Why is Jesus called the Son of Allaah?

The greatest person is the one who is a servant.

Son means servant.

Son of Allaah means servant of Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 10:44 and whoever wants to be first among you shall be slave of all.

Comments:

1. What does “the first among you shall be the slave of all” mean?

The greatest among people is the person who is a slave to all people.

The greatest among people is the person who is a servant to all people.

The greatest person among humans is the person who puts them self and their interests last by being the servant to all people.

2. Why is Jesus called the Son of Man?

In the Torah humans are called the Son of Man meaning a descendant of Adam who is the first human.

In the Gospel the greatest among the children of Israel is the person who is a servant to all people so Jesus is called the Son of Man meaning human because the Gospel is the story of one human, a Jew named Jesus.

3. Why is Jesus called the Son of Allaah?

In the Torah all the children of Israel are called the Son of Allaah meaning the servants of Allaah.

In the Gospel the greatest among the children of Israel is the person who is a servant to Allaah so Jesus is called the Son of Allaah meaning the obedient human servant of Allaah because the Gospel is the story of one human, a Jew named Jesus.

Gospel of Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many."

Comment:

Every prophet of Allaah “gives his life as a ransom for many” because instead of living life for themselves they give their life until death to Allaah teaching people how to be successful in the hereafter.

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:45.

Gospel of Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man (the human named Jesus) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life (as) a ransom for many (in the same way as every prophet of Allaah and every messenger of Allaah gives his life not for himself but for the people of the Earth. Abraham and his son were tested with the threat of death like Jesus would be tested on the cross with the threat of death. Abraham and his son were saved from death like Jesus was saved from death. When Jesus said "My Allaah my Allaah why have you forsaken me" Jesus showed he had faith by calling Allaah and Allaah saved Jesus with sleep when Allaah raised the soul of Jesus to heaven and returned the soul of Jesus to Earth three days later to wake up his sleeping body as proof that Allaah does not forsake people when people call Allaah for help, Jesus told people he is not Allaah when he lived on the earth after the crucifixion by saying "Allaah is my Allaah and your Allaah" meaning Allaah is my Master and your Master meaning Allaah is my Lord and your Lord and he said "Allaah is my Father and your Father" meaning Allaah is my Creator and your Creator in the Gospel of John 20:17, Quran 5:72, Quran 5:117 and Quran 19:36 as proof that no one killed Jesus on the cross or crucified him to death on the cross in other words Jesus was sleeping on the cross when everyone thought he was dead. She is not dead but sleeping".)."

To understand a verse put the name Moses instead of Jesus.

For even the Son of Man (the human named Moses) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life (as) a ransom for many (in the same way as every prophet of Allaah and every messenger of Allaah gives his life not for himself but for the people of the Earth).

Note 1. See Gospel of Mark 10:34 comments.

Gospel of Mark 10:45 must be understood in a way that does not contradict Deuteronomy 24:16 meaning Allaah forbids killing an innocent person for the sins of a guilty person and Hosea 6:6 meaning Allaah is a Allaah of mercy and knowledge and not a Allaah of human sacrifice.

Deuteronomy 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the (sins of their) children, neither shall the children be put to death for the (sins of their) fathers; every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Hosea 6:6 For I (Allaah) desire mercy, and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of Allaah rather than burnt-offerings.

1. What does “Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve” mean?

1-1. Jesus is a prophet of Allaah meaning Jesus is serving Allaah.

A prophet of Allaah is on the Earth to serve Allaah, not to be served by humans but to serve humans.

1-2. Jesus is a messenger of Allaah meaning Jesus is serving Allaah.

A messenger of Allaah is on the Earth to serve Allaah, not to be served by humans but to serve humans.

1-3. Jesus is a Messiah of Allaah meaning Jesus is serving Allaah.

A Messiah of Allaah is on the Earth to serve Allaah, not to be served by humans but to serve humans.

2. What does “Jesus has come to give his life” mean?

Jesus has put aside his life with his mother, brothers and sisters to give his life to Allaah as Allaah has willed.

Jesus has given his life to serve Allaah.

Jesus has given his life to serve humankind.

3. What does “Jesus is a ransom for many” mean?

Until Jesus the word of Allaah had been known mainly in the Middle East.

After Jesus the word of Allaah spread across the Roman Empire.

Jesus left the Gospel on earth so that through the word of Allaah humans would be saved in the Hereafter by knowing Allaah.

Jesus gave his life not for his own interests but to serve Allaah.

Jesus gave his life not for his own interests but to serve humankind.

One man called Jesus gave his life to serve Allaah.

One man called Jesus gave his life to serve humankind.

4. What does “Jesus has come to give his life a ransom for many.”

What is the purpose for everything that Jesus did?

Jesus put aside his life to work for Allaah (Jesus gave away his self interest, Jesus ransomed his life by dedicating his life to serve Allaah) so that many among humankind might discover the Good News (the Gospel) of Allaah’s promise of life after death.

An obnoxious beggar gets his wish.

Gospel of Mark 10:46 And they come into Jericho. And as he was going away from Jericho, plus his disciples and a large crowd, Bartimaeus (the Son of Timaeus), a blind beggar, was sitting beside the road.

Comment:

Where is Jericho?

Jericho is in the Roman province of Judea. Today Jericho is in Palestine.

Gospel of Mark 10:47 And hearing that it is Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout, and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"

Comment:

1. What does “Jesus the Nazarene” mean?

Jesus the Nazarene means Jesus the man who comes from Nazareth in the Galilee today in northern Israel.

2. What does “Son of David” mean?

Son of David is the Hebrew saying for Christ or messiah and is a title meaning the anointed one, the one who is blessed by Allaah.

Gospel of Mark 10:48 And many were telling him to be quiet. But he kept shouting much more: "Son of David, have mercy on me!"

Gospel of Mark 10:49 Jesus stopped and said, "Call him." So they call the blind man, saying to him, "Take heart! Get up! He's calling you!"

Gospel of Mark 10:50 So throwing his cloak aside, he jumped up and came to Jesus.

Gospel of Mark 10:51 In answer to him, Jesus said, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said to him, "Rabboni, that I could see."

Comments:

What does Rabboni mean?

Rabboni means rabbi or teacher in Judaism.

Jesus was a Jew.

Jesus followed the Jewish religion.

In the time of Jesus the religion of Christianity and Islam did not exist.

Gospel of Mark 10:52 And Jesus said to him, "Go. Your faith has healed you." And immediately he saw, and was following him in the way.

Comments:

Explain Gospel of Mark 10:52.

Gospel of Mark 10:52 And Jesus (the messenger of Allaah) said to him (the blind man), "Go. Your faith (in Allaah and in Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah) has healed you." And immediately he (the blind man) saw, and was following him (Jesus) in the way.

How did Jesus make the blind man see?

1. Allaah had decreed that whoever had faith shall see a miracle as proof that Jesus is a truthful prophet of Allaah.

2. Allaah had decreed that whoever had faith shall see a miracle as proof that Jesus is a truthful messenger of Allaah.

3. Allaah had decreed that whoever had faith shall see a miracle as proof that Jesus is a truthful messiah, the one blessed by Allaah.

4. Allaah had decreed that whoever had faith shall see a miracle as proof that Jesus is the anointed one, the one blessed by Allaah.
