Chapter : Verse.

(Information in brackets is added to assist readers in the interpretation of the verse).

Quran 82:0 Koran 82:0 Verse 82:0 Ayah 82:0 Ayat 82:0 Aya 82:0 In the name of Allaah, The Most Kind, The Most Merciful.

Quran 82:1 Koran 82:1 Verse 82:1 Ayah 82:1 Ayat 82:1 Aya 82:1 When the sky is split apart (and disappears from existence).

Quran 82:2 Koran 82:2 Verse 82:2 Ayah 82:2 Ayat 82:2 Aya 82:2 When the stars are dispersed (scattered and disappear from existence).

Comment 1. The end of the Earth, Moon, Sun. stars and the Universe.

Quran 54:1 Verse 54:1 (What can I tell you about the hour? Imagine this). The hour (of the Day of Resurrection and Judgement in the hereafter) has come near and the Moon has split (into pieces in the same way as the Earth has split into pieces as small as dust and all creation shall be destroyed and then you shall be resurrected on a new earth, a new land, a new ground in the hereafter where you shall come forward from your grave which is a way of saying you will be resurrected from death back to life in the hereafter with your eyes humbled, like swarming locusts, moving quickly toward the caller and the disbelievers shall say, “This is a difficult day” – see Quran 54:7 – 54:8 and then you will be standing and looking in Quran 39:68 meaning every creation will be resurrected at the same time and they will be standing and looking on a new earth, a new land, a new ground in the hereafter).

Quran 69:16 Verse 69:16 And the sky shall split (into pieces in the same way as the Earth and the Moon shall be split into pieces as small as dust) on this frail day (the last Day of this earth when all creation shall be destroyed before you are resurrected on a new earth, a new land, a new ground in the hereafter on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement).

Quran 81:1 Verse 81:1 When the Sun is rolled up (and comes to an end).

Quran 81:2 Verse 81:2 And when the stars darken (and come to an end).

Quran 81:3 Verse 81:3 And when the mountains are removed (and have come to an end).

Quran 82:3 Koran 82:3 Verse 82:3 Ayah 82:3 Ayat 82:3 Aya 82:3 And when the seas are made to overflow (surge and swell like a tsunami caused by the final earthquake).

Comment 1. The Day of Resurrection is after the destruction of the Earth.

Quran 22:1 Verse 22:1 O Humankind, fear your Lord (Allaah). The Hour of the Quake (of the Last Day of the Earth, of the End of the Earth) is a tremendous thing (that is promised by Allaah).

Quran 99:1 Verse 99:1 When the Earth is shaken with its (last) earthquake.

Quran 99:2 Verse 99:2 And the Earth brings out its load (of what it contains until it is empty and completely destroyed).

Quran 84:4 Verse 84:4 And (the earth) has thrown out what was in it (of what it contains) and is empty (and completely destroyed).

Quran 82:4 Koran 82:4 Verse 82:4 Ayah 82:4 Ayat 82:4 Aya 82:4 And when the graves are overturned (meaning when the dead are resurrected back to life in the hereeafter on the Day of Resurrection).

Comment 1. What does graves are overturned mean?

Graves are overturned means death is overturned and the dead are resurrected back to life in the hereafter on the Day of Resurrection.

Quran 81:7 Verse 81:7 And (on the Day of Resurrection on a new earth, a new land, a new ground in the hereafter) when the souls are paired (with their new physical body that can feel reward or punishment in the hereafter and that cannot die like their old physical body died in the first creation).

Comment 2. People will not really come out of their graves because Allaah does not return people to this Earth but to a new earth, new land, new ground in the hereafter.

Humans and all other creations including the first creation will be destroyed at the same time.

When humans and other life are resurrected the first creation shall not exist.

When humans and other life die on the last day of the first creation they will be resurrected on a new earth, new land, new ground and new sky in the hereafter.

Resurrection will be in the hereafter where all the souls that sleep in death under the care of Allaah shall be given new physical bodies that can feel reward or pain.

These new physical bodies never die and are the bodies for life in the hereafter.

The physical bodies which live and die are the bodies for life and death in the first creation.

The physical bodies which live and die will not exist on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement.

People will not really come out of their graves.

People will come out of their graves only means people will return from death back to life.

People will come out of their graves only means that people will be resurrected from death back to life on the day of Resurrection in the hereafter.

Quran 14:48 Verse 14:48 On the day (of Resurrection) when the Earth shall be replaced with another earth (meaning another land in the hereafter) as will the skies (also be replaced with another sky in the hereafter) and they (all creatures) shall come before Allaah, the One (creator of every creation) and the all mighty.

Quran 50:44 Verse 50:44 (On the) Day (of Resurrection) when the (new) earth (land, ground in the hereafter) shall split (open and people shall emerge out of their graves which is a way of describing the resurrection from death back to life in the hereafter on a new land, a new ground, a new earth) and they shall hurry (with their eyes humbled, like swarming locusts, moving quickly toward the caller and the disbelievers shall say, “This is a difficult day” – see Quran 54:7 – 54:8 and then they will be standing and looking in Quran 39:68 meaning every creation will be resurrected at the same time and they will be standing and looking), that is a gathering (of people) easy for Us (God, to make happen on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement).

Note 1. Leaving the grave is another way of saying resurrected from death back to life.

In death the soul is sleeping in the hereafter but when a human is resurrected in the hereafter the last thing they can remember is that the time between their death and the Day of Resurrection feels like they were sleeping for only a few hours.

Quran 79:46 Verse 79:46 On the day they see it (the Day of Resurrection), it shall be as if they (each human) had not stayed (sleeping in death) except for an evening or a morning.

Quran 82:5 Koran 82:5 Verse 82:5 Ayah 82:5 Ayat 82:5 Aya 82:5 Then a soul shall know what it brought forward (to the hereafter in their record of good and bad deeds) and what they left behind (in the world of their bad deeds which Allaah shall have forgiven and removed from them in the hereafter).

Comment 1. What does the soul shall know mean?

Quran 81:8 Verse 81:8 And when the (new born) baby girl that was buried alive (as was the custom among the stone idol worshippers in Makkah Arabia today Saudi Arabia) is asked (in the hereafter), -

Quran 81:9 Verse 81:9 “For what crime were you (the baby girl) killed? (The baby girl shall say in the hereafter, “They killed me on the earth without a just reason”).

Quran 82:6 Koran 82:6 Verse 82:6 Ayah 82:6 Ayat 82:6 Aya 82:6 Humans (why do you pray to things that Allaah created instead of praying to Allaah who created every creation), what has deceived you concerning your Lord (Allaah), the (most) generous -

Quran 82:7 Koran 82:7 Verse 82:7 Ayah 82:7 Ayat 82:7 Aya 82:7 Who created you and shaped you (through Allaah’s process of evolution) and proportioned you (balanced you physically and balanced you in mind and heart with a portion of the ability to show mercy and kindness to others)?

Quran 82:8 Koran 82:8 Verse 82:8 Ayah 82:8 Ayat 82:8 Aya 82:8 In whatever form He (Allaah) pleases He (Allaah) has assembled you (through Allaah’s process of evolution).

Comment 2. Scientifically humans call the shaping of creation the process of evolution.

See Quran 41:9 comments in Quran chapter 41.

Quran 82:9 Koran 82:9 Verse 82:9 Ayah 82:9 Ayat 82:9 Aya 82:9 And yet you (the stone idol worshippers in Mecca Arabia today Makkah Saudi Arabia) reject (the reality of) the (Day of) Judgement

Quran 82:10 Koran 82:10 Verse 82:10 Ayah 82:10 Ayat 82:10 Aya 82:10 Truly over you (humans) are observers (guardian angels) –

Comment. Guardian angels.

1. Each human has been given two Guardian angels.

Quran 6:61 Verse 6:61 He (Allaah) has all-power over His (Allaah’s) servants. And He (Allaah) sends (two angel) guardians (observers, watchers, listeners) over you (to record your deeds) until death comes to one of you (humans) when (at death) Our messengers (of death, the Angel of death) take your soul without failure (of this duty at the appointed time).

Quran 50:17 Verse 50:17 There are two (angels assigned to each person) listening, one (angel) sitting on the right (recording the righteous deeds of that person) and one (angel) on the left (recording the evil deeds of that person).

Quran 50:18 Verse 50:18 People do not speak one word where there is not with them a listener (angel) ready (to record what is said).

Quran 54:52 Verse 54:52 And every thing they did is in (their) record (of deeds).

Quran 54:53 Verse 54:53 And everything small and big (of their deeds) is written down (by one of two angels as it happens).

Quran 82:11 Verse 82:11 (Who are) honourable and (they are) recording (both your good deeds and your bad deeds).

Quran 82:12 Verse 82:12 They (the guardian angels) know everything you do (and you shall see the record of your deeds on the Day of Judgement as proof that Allaah’s Judgement of you is correct).

2. Guardian angels watch over the human messengers of Allaah to confirm they deliver the messages of Allaah.

Quran 72:23 Verse 72:23 But I (Prophet Muhammad) only deliver (what I receive) from Allaah and His (Allaah’s) messages. ..."

Quran 72:26 Verse 72:26 (Allaah is) the knower of the Unseen (all that we do not know) and He (Allaah) does not reveal His (Allaah’s knowledge of the) Unseen (all that we do not know) to anyone.

Quran 72:27 Verse 72:27 Except a (human) messenger whom He (Allaah) has chosen, and He (Allaah) sends in front and behind of him (Allaah’s human messenger), a guard (guardian angels) -

Quran 72:28 Verse 72:28 So that He (Allaah) may clearly show (on the Day of Judgement) that they (the human messengers of Allaah) have delivered the messages of their Lord (Allaah). He (Allaah) knows everything they (the human messengers of Allaah) do and He (Allaah) keeps a record of every thing (that the human messengers of Allaah did which they shall be shown on the Day of Judgement).

3. Guardian angels act as security guards in the heavens.

Quran 72:8 Verse 72:8 And we (jinn) have tried to reach the heaven (to gain knowledge about the future by listening to the exalted assembly of angels reciting the revelations of Allaah), but now found that it (the heavens) has been filled with strong guards and burning flames.

Quran 82:11 Koran 82:11 Verse 82:11 Ayah 82:11 Ayat 82:11 Aya 82:11 (Who are) honourable and (they are) recording (both your good deeds and your bad deeds).

Comment. Honourable angels recording deeds.

Quran 21:94 Verse 21:94 Whoever does good deeds and is a believer (in Allaah) shall not have their deeds rejected. We (Allaah through Allaah’s angels) record (the good deeds) for every person (so that they are rewarded).

Quran 23:62 Verse 23:62 And We (Allaah) do not give any person a task that is beyond their capacity, and with Us (Allaah) is a true Record (of what every soul did), and they shall not be treated unjustly (in the Hereafter).

Quran 50:21 Verse 50:21 And every soul comes (after the destruction of the first creation to the Day of Resurrection in the hereafter) with (an angel as) a driver (who shows them where to go in the hereafter) and (an angel as) a witness (who is carrying a record of their deeds).

Quran 82:12 Koran 82:12 Verse 82:12 Ayah 82:12 Ayat 82:12 Aya 82:12 They (the guardian angels) know everything you do (and you shall see the record of your deeds on the Day of Judgement as proof that Allaah’s Judgement of you is correct).

Comment 1. Record of deeds.

Quran 17:13 Verse 17:13 And We (Allaah) have made every person responsible for their fate and on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement We (Allaah) shall bring out for each person a wide open record (showing everything each person did).

Quran 18:49 Verse 18:49 And the record of their deeds shall be placed (in the hand of each person), and you shall see the sinful in fear of what is (recorded) there. They shall say, “What kind of Book is this that leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account of everything (we did in our life)." And they shall find all that they did (in their life) placed before them (in the Hereafter) and your Lord (Allaah) shall treat no one with injustice (on the Day of Judgement).

Quran 45:29 Verse 45:29 This Our (Allaah’s) record speaks truthfully about you. We (Allaah) have caused all that you did to be recorded (by angels).

Quran 45:30 Verse 45:30 So those who believed and did good deeds, their Lord (Allaah) shall bring them to His (Allaah’s) mercy. That is clear success (in the Hereafter).

Quran 45:31 Verse 45:31 And those who disbelieved (shall be told), “Were Our (Allaah’s) revelations not recited to you? You were arrogant and became people who are wrong doers.”

Quran 50:16 Verse 50:16 We (Allaah) created people and know what their soul whispers to them and We (Allaah) are nearer to them (in knowledge about them) than their jugular vein (the blood that follows between the brain in the head and the heart in the body).

Quran 82:13 Koran 82:13 Verse 82:13 Ayah 82:13 Ayat 82:13 Aya 82:13 (In the hereafter) the righteous shall be in pleasure (in the gardens of Paradise Jannah).

Comment 1. Quran 56:8 Verse 56:8 (The first group of people is) those (whose record of deeds is given) on the right hand. Who are those of the right hand? (They are the people with good deeds who have been blessed with Allaah’s mercy and they shall enter Paradise).

Quran 82:14 Koran 82:14 Verse 82:14 Ayah 82:14 Ayat 82:14 Aya 82:14 And the wrongdoers shall be in Hell Jahannam –

Comment 1. Quran 56:9 Verse 56:9 And (the second group of people is) those (whose record of deeds is given) on the left hand. Who are those of the left hand? (They are the people with evil deeds who have been cursed because they lost Allaah’s mercy and they shall enter Hell Jahannam).

Quran 82:15 Koran 82:15 Verse 82:15 Ayah 82:15 Ayat 82:15 Aya 82:15 They (the wrongdoers) shall burn in it (Hell Jahannam) on the Day of Judgement.

Comment 1. Quran 17:60 Verse 17:60 “.... We (Allaah) warn (people to do what is good and avoid what is evil) and make them afraid (of Allaah by describing the home for evil doers in Hell Fire Jahannam in the Hereafter) but it only increases them (some of the humans) in nothing but greater disobedience against Allaah (and the commandment to do what is good and avoid what is evil).

Quran 82:16 Koran 82:16 Verse 82:16 Ayah 82:16 Ayat 82:16 Aya 82:16 And they (the wrongdoers) shall not be able to escape it (the punishment in Hell fire).
