Makes approximately 32 truffles

Ingredients

1 box Family Size Brownie Mix (plus ingredients for brownie mix)

1/3 to ½ of can (16 oz) can cream cheese frosting, or flavor or choice. Adjust quantity to your sweet tooth.

Almond Bark or Chocolate Coating (like CandyQuik), candy melts, or chocolate chips

Decorative Sprinkles

Instructions

1. Prepare and bake brownie mix as directed on box; cool completely.

2. Crumble brownies into a large bowl (if the edges are hard leave those out). Add frosting and mix thoroughly.

3. Roll mixture into 1” sized balls. Chill approximately 1-2 hours in the refrigerator (or in freezer 30 – 45 minutes if in a hurry) until firm.

4. Melt candy coating according to directions on package. Substitute candy melts or chocolate chips if desired.

5. Place your truffle ball on a fork and dip into the chocolate. Spoon chocolate on top. Once the ball is covered tap the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove excess chocolate and place on wax paper to set.

6. Sprinkle with decorative sprinkles before coating is set.

Notes:

Fudge-style brownies tend to roll in a ball easier than cake-style so you can use less frosting so truffles aren't overly sweet.

If brownie truffles start to get sticky when dipping, place the remaining truffles in the refrigerator or freezer for an additional 20-30 minutes.
