Though not as powerful, she’s very skilled in using them, and is able to project images to up to five people in one room. As telepathic illusions the illusions are projected directly into the mind, and would be perceived as real by those manipulated. She is also able to use astral projection and communicate with others at long distances.Healing Factor: Ms Sinister is able to rapidly regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. She can fully heal from injuries that result in massive tissue damage or loss such as multiple gunshot wounds, slashes, puncture wounds, broken bones, and severe burns within a matter of minutes.

Power Limitations: Her telepathy is relatively weak compared to the original Sinister. It can be countered by strong willed people or other telepaths. She also can’t use her telepathic powers in all its variations at the same time (ie; if she’s doing illusions she can’t do anything else). As for her healing factor, the healing speed changes from wound to wound, the bigger the wound the longer it takes to fully heal. Of the original Sinister's many other powers, Claudine was not given the ability of super strength, and much to her annoyance, telekinesis.

Background:  Claudine Renko was one of the many people kidnapped by Mr. Sinister when they were young as part of his plan to continue living after death. When Claudine was a child she was implanted with a genetic coding that would activate when Mr. Sinister died, turning her into a genetic clone of Mr. Sinister who’s personality would take over the body once that happened. Claudine was sent back to live her normal life and she was oblivious to what had been done to her.She worked at bank as a teller, and didn’t know about her possible mutation when the mutant hate in the country increased. At some point during all of this Mr. Sinister was killed and his safety protocols were initiated. When the genetic code was activated, Claudine’s body and personality changed drastically. Her appearance grew very reminiscent of Mr. Sinister’s and she also developed some of his mutant powers. However, something went a bit wrong with the transformation and she didn’t gain all of his memories, thereby combining both Sinister’s and Claudine’s personalities into forming a new being altogether.As Ms. Sinister, Claudine went about a mission to gather Mutants in an attempt to preserve genetic codes for posterity should the humans eliminate mutants. Her mission statement was more humane than her genetic template’s previous approach and she got many mutants to side to her cause. Like her predecessor, she named them the Marauders. As time went on she was haunted with vague, but invasive memories of Sinister's life. He was a malignant presence within her mind, slowly killing her as a means of self-resurrection. His personality began to take further control and she grew to experiment on her followers and started to convince her followers to kidnap mutants. Anyone who didn’t listen got experimented on or discarded.Recently, Ms. Sinister's objective seemed to be of recreating her predecessor’s plan of achieving immorality through science. She began looking for a mutant with larger power set to inhabit. After months of searching, she has set her eyes on Trent Piotrowski from the X-Men, a powerful telekinetic that could certainly be expanded upon and improved. Using her Marauders she staged an attack on the X-Men, capturing several along with Trent. She had him in her clutches for weeks, and the first fusion of her carefully selected genetics with his own was tricky, but successful. The genetic coding altered not only Trent's appearance, giving him the same brilliant gray skin as her own, but his mutation. There was a minor set back to the genetic tampering as Trent no longer bled, instead when cut or scraped his body would secrete smoke. This had a negative impact as his blood could no longer clot effectively, giving him a form of hemophilia. It was something Sinister was certain she could fix, or further mutate into an advantage, but Trent and a few of her subjects escaped before the process was complete.

Several times, Sinister has made attempts to capture or manipulate Trent, but never lost focus on her other goals. This remained true when Apocalypse was resurfaced, wiping out much of the West Coast in the process. She alined herself with him immediately, knowing he was a great power that could not be defeated - at least, not directly. She has kept her Marauders, making sure they stayed loyal only to her, even if they pretend to play nice with Apocalypse's followers.

Ms Sinister was at the head of the genetic experiments in creating Apocalypse's cannon fodder, the Infinites. She has acquired several genetic slaves over the years, such as Blur. While she pretended to be focused on improving the Infinites for Apocalypse's army, she continued her work in finding a powerful replacement body, and has worked on several possibilities to defeat Apocalypse in secret.

Personality: Calculative, sultry and seemingly fearless, she has a rather sadistic and manipulative way of doing things. Claudine does have a separate personality from the original Sinister but as time goes on she is haunted by vague, invasive memories of Sinister's life. He is a malignant presence within her mind, slowly killing her as a means of self-resurrection. His personality has begun to take further control, and often she will refer to herself as a male, or to Claudine as a separate person, and seemingly not realize she is a separate entity. She often tries to use telekinetic powers she no longer possesses.

She has an affinity for the drink.
