Bio Gamma Sentinel

Sentinel Diagnostics: Bio Gamma SentinelSentinels are humanoid robots with very advanced artificial intelligence.  The version most well-known, and feared by the general mutant population, are designated as Prime Sentinels. The Gamma Prime is an upgraded model, smaller in stature, and equipped with an upgraded biometrics scanner to identify those with the mutant "X" gene on sight. They stand about twenty feet tall, are heavily armored, and have weaponry more advanced than the original Prime design. Directive: Reserves of Gamma Sentinels were originally stationed in every state, at each capitol and major city. The number of Gamma Sentinels deployed to each area was based on the population per square foot, calculated to offer the most comprehensive protection. 

These sentinels were pulled back into the Therizo territory after the company's take over of the United States government. They are still stationed in the East Coast and their most populated cities, but are mostly used for assassinations and specific war missions. 

Capabilities:

All Gamma Sentinels are engineered for flight, and are capable of reaching speeds of up to Mach 1. The biometric mutant detection scanners are mounted on the chest, with two separate sensors to compensate for possible damage. They are also equipped with facial recognition software to identify mutants with records, those currently registered or with warrants, and have infrared, heat and x-ray vision. They also are networked with other Sentinels via satellite to receive orders, and are able to call for assistance when needed.

All edges within the armoring, including the fingers of the unit, are razor sharp.  Lasers are mounted on each arm, as well as small missiles. Larger bombs are mounted into the panels on the unit's breast plate. Common weapons used for capture include various gases, released from projectile canisters, and a variation on the energy beams designed to incapacitate with an electric shock.There are also several electric nets built into this model's breast plate.

They have massive strength and durability, as might be expected from their size. The new design allows the Gamme Sentinel to maneuver easily on the ground and in the air. In keeping such dangerous mutants as Magneto in mind, Sentinels are mainly constructed of armor-grade plastics and ceramics.  Any metal parts used are non-ferrous (i.e., unaffected by magnets) such as copper. The armor is heavy-grade, making them nearly impossible for most individual mutants to take down alone. 

Though their AI is very advanced,and capable of tactical thought, they lack awareness, and are limited to following their programming.
