Denise Wasden - Alpha 631Sex: FemaleAge: Mid-TwentiesEthnicity: Caucasian Appearance: Hair: Dark Brown Eyes: Blue Scars: Several along her face and body, inflicted during a fight with the X-Men Pietro, Noelle and Finn. Basic Sentinel Upgrade: All Alpha Sentinels are gifted with standard upgrades. They are given bio-mechanical upgrades to their musculature to increase strength and durability. They have the ability to fly via projectiles located traditionally in their feet. Sentinels are given mental upgrades, making their minds essentially computer processing units. Armor is in place over vital organs and functions giving them an increased durability over standard humans. They also have mutant detection, tracking and identification software uploaded directly into their mind. They also share a communication network, allowing them to communicate with one another and seize control over the more traditional Sentinel Weapons. They are given an up link system traditionally either in the neck or left arm to allow for software upgrades and access to machines they come into contact with in their missions. Each Prime Sentinel is outfitted with an additional power unique to itself, designed to make them the ultimate in Mutant Killing Weapons.
Basic Sentinel Weaponry: All Alpha Sentinels are given standard weapons upgrades. Both arms are replaced with mechanical limbs that have high powered energy blasters in each palm. They are given a shoulder weapon, a traditional gun style weapon. They are also outfitted with a limited number of grenades in various types, a standard Alpha Sentinel can only carry four grenades at any one time. The bombs can vary from traditional grenades to smoke weapons.

Power Limitations: All Alpha Sentinels have two major limitation points, being still partially human they have a functioning heart and an additional power source. If one or both of these is destroyed, the Sentinel would be destroyed. They also still maintain some human thought processing and personality, this can cause for rejection of various software as well as the human mind making critical errors. If a Sentinel is badly damaged, a sub-routine will take affect making them leave the area. They can also be killed in traditional fashions, burning, beheading, etc.
Background: Denise was college bound in a degree for Sociology when her brother died trying to control a mutant riot at the capitol for the Registration Act. Her older brother was Marine trained and had become a police officer, following in their father's footsteps. Denise had always been outspoken in every aspect of her life, and on that day her view on mutants changed drastically. She and her boyfriend Lewis began attending Anti-Mutant meetings and protests. Both of them being well respected, became leaders of many activists groups supporting the Registration Act and the containment of mutants. However, Denise thought there was a fine line between registration to protect the people and genocide. She didn't not agree with the FOH, though Lewis sympathized with them. Her view again changed when at a speech announcing the passing of the Registration Act, a riot broke out, and many of her friends were killed. She herself was badly injured. There was a possibility that she would never walk again. Her father spoke about a program, about becoming an Alpha Sentinel - she would be a protector working for the government and fighting to keep mutants in control.
Since she had nothing to loose, she agreed, and tried to get Lewis to come with her as well. The two joined the program together, and her legs were rebuilt mechanically as well as many other upgrades. She was trained heavily on self defense and weaponry and believes wholeheartedly in her cause against mutants. Denise served the U.S. Military for years, clashing with the X-Men several times. She has a personal vendetta against Pietro, Finn and Tremaine for disfiguring her face the first time she battled with the X-Men.
On May 7th, the President Michael Chase was murdered, an act by an unknown assailant that preceded the fall of the U.S. Government. A few days later, Therizo - a well known weapons and science division of the U.S. Army - and their CEO Ammon Machina took over, promising to succeed where the government had failed in protecting the American public.
In response, Purifier 1st Sergeant Landra Knight, proclaimed the Purifiers' independence from the Therizo Corp, questioning the safety of Sentinels not built around human intelligence. She condemned the Therizo company as unworthy of American leadership and invited all humans seeking shelter to their territory, promising to eradicate any mutants who step foot on their land.
Denise and many of the 1st Gen Alpha Sentinels choose to side with the Purifiers. Unlike Sentinels built and created by Therizo, they had their own sentience and therefore could not be controlled by Ammon and his military. The Purifiers stood for an older conservative American image, hoping to someday bring America back to its former glory, and Denise supported that.
Though the Purifiers and Therizo did not necessarily agree, they often joined forces against their mutual enemy Apocalypse. This ended when Therizo's leader Ammon was proved to be a sentinel himself, and it was thought he was creating new Alpha sentinels from humans against their will. Rumors that Therizo had created the plague that wiped out most of humanity sealed the deal. The Purifiers and there Alpha Sentinels, Denise among them, remain the only pro-human force in the county.
Denise was deployed in the Purifiers attempt to help the failing Mexican government, which ultimately was a failure as the nation erupted into chaos. Coming back from the mission, the team encountered a couple known X-Men terrorists Oshinko Ikeda and Trixie Ferdinand. A fight erupted as the Alphas tried to eliminate the mutant threat, and Lewis was killed in the battle by the psychic Oshinko.
The mutants were able to escape, but Denise's hatred for the X-Men is more venomous than ever.
Personality: Denise has a fiery personality and is outspoken about her views and beliefs. She has a personal vendetta against Pietro, Finn and Tremaine for disfiguring her face the first time she battled with the X-Men and against Oshinko for murdering her loved one.
