When fighting, she loses most all features of her former self, except that her eyes are cobalt and hair is copper and fused together but ever moving. When sleeping or unconscious, she will revert to this form, but look more like a metallic Leslie McAllister.

Powers: Leslie’s powers started off as Metal absorption and manipulation. She could absorb any metal she touches into herself and manipulate it into any forms he wished or shooting it out as projectiles. As she honed her abilities, the more mass she should take in and/or manipulate. She started to just use this as a form of art. She was able to make magnificent sculptures, and could control the color to infuse it with color. She is immune to any metallic, electrical, poison, pheromone based-attack. She can shift her body into any form with about the same mass. She can flow under and through gaps, but it will take some time, depending on how much of a gap she has. She has can’t duplicate someone’s appearance, though she can change her appearance. She can make most any blade on blunt metallic weapon. When touching metal, she can absorb or manipulate it into most any form. She can work with up to 1 ton of metal fairly easily and push herself up to about 2-3 tons.
Power Limitations: When shooting projectiles out of her body, she has a finite amount she can throw. She typically uses what she has absorbed during the day, but if she has no other metal around her, she can use up to about 100 lbs of metal before she weakens physically.
Leslie is vulnerable to extreme heat or cold as her body heats or cools to extremes. If her body is struck by extreme heat or electricity, she better not be touching a friend as her body would be a conduit of this energy and harm the ones she is touching. Extreme cold slows her down as she stiffens. If she gets too cold, she could freeze solid until she is warmed up. She is also very vulnerable to magnetic attacks. Powerful acids, that can melt metals, she is vulnerable to as well. She can not taste, eat, breathe, smell or drink. She can simulate eating and drinking, but she never actually ingests them. As she absorbs more metal she gains her actual weight about quarter of what she absorbs. She is very heavy, so it makes it hard for someone to carry her. Being living metal, she can not be healed. She requires metal to heal damage and maintain herself. She still has a nervous system, so attacks that affect her could traumatize her as she does still feel pain.
Hobbies and Interests: Leslie is a skilled sculptor and artist. She loves to paint as well. She has a love of most music, but can listen to classical music for hours.
Background: Leslie was born in San Antonio, Texas to Dr. Eleanor and Dr. Edward McAllister. Edward was a prominent virologist at Texas Biomedical Research Institute. Eleanor is a skilled surgeon at Methodist Hospital. Eleanor was able to keep her secret that she was a mutant healer as her surgery skills were top notch as well.Leslie had a fairly normal childhood. Her parents had no idea if she would exhibit any mutant powers. She was fairly active as she did soccer, softball, and dance. She also had a love of art. She first picked up painting, and then branched out to pottery and other arts. When she was in middle school, she was surprised when a couple pennies disappeared into her skin. She freaked out a little, but she was lucky not one saw. She called her parents, and they picked her up and took her home. Being a doctor and a scientist, they were able to help Leslie understand what her mutant ability was.Over the years, Leslie’s parents helped her hone her abilities and to try to keep it secret as the hostilities against mutants grew. She graduated high school with no noticeable incidents with her abilities. She was not a great student, but she got decent grades. She had no desire to go to college as art was her passion. Her parents were disappointed, but they supported her with her desire to be an artist.Leslie lived her in parents’ home and made her art. It was easy as both her parents kept long work hours. She was making decent money for her sculptures and paintings. She was careful not to make her metallic work to spectacular, so not to draw attention to her. Her parents encouraged her not to get involved in the pro-mutant protests, and she , for the most part, stayed to herself. When Apocalypse and Therizo started to cause havoc, and people fleeing to the central states, Texas included. Leslie helped her fellow mutants as much as she could, without drawing too much attention. It was when the super virus was spreading when Leslie's life was drastically altered. Her father, caught it while working at the lab when a lab tech failed to meet safety protocols and infected the facility's staff. Her father was frantically working on a cure. His wife’s healing ability helped him stall the virus so he find a possible cure, but he died before he could produce it and give it to himself.Fearing that Leslie may succumb to the virus her mother panicked. She gave her the experimental cure before it was fully tested. It put her mutant ability into overdrive. Before, when she absorbed metal, it stored the metal in her skeleton and infused it with metal. With her body fighting this new drug coursing through her body, her mutant ability was replacing living flesh with living metal. It was not long before she had no flesh at all. Her mutant ability her life, but mutated her permanently.
Leslie had to flee San Antonio as she could not make herself appear normal. Her art is what saved her as she learned it infuse color into her appearance. Her mother had disappeared after she used the experimental drug on her daughter. Leslie had no where to go, but to find some safe haven for mutants.
She lived on the run, learning how to sculpt her body into inventive ways of hiding and changing her appearance. She learned her body needed metal to survive, instead of water, food and oxygen. With so much of the population gone, she was able to find metal from abandoned vehicles and buildings to sustain her needs.
It's been close to two years, since her mutations, and she heard whispers from fellow mutant of an island safe haven. They saw she was not a threat, so they took her in and brought her to this island. She has been given an apartment and just getting situated, hoping this could be a place to settle down. Maybe they may have heard any news of her mother?
Personality: Leslie is a peaceful person by nature. She longs to just find a place where she can look live in peace and create art. This does not mean she will not defend herself. She hates not appearing normal any more and tries to maintain her 'normal' form and appear to do 'normal' activities. She is not an experienced fighter and is willing to learn more on how to fight for mutant survival.
