Sweet Smoky Rub (low carb)

1/4 C. Brown Swerve (or other low carb brown sugar substitute)

2 Tbsp. + 2 tsp. Smoked Paprika

1 tsp. Garlic Powder

1 tsp. Mustard Powder

1 tsp. Cumin

2 tsp. Fresh Ground Pepper

1 tsp. coarse grain Sea Salt

1 Tbsp. Chili Powder (can mix up different types as desired to equal 1 Tbsp.)

1/8 tsp. Thyme

2 tsp. Cocoa Powder (or Cacao Powder)

1/2 tsp. Onion Powder

1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together in a small jar, combining well. Store tightly covered in pantry. Rub over meat, poultry or fish before braising, baking or grilling.
