Sauteed Green Beans n' Bacon

You will need:

Fresh Green Beans (enough for everyone)

Bacon (I used 1 slice per person) - sliced cross wise into 1/2 inch pieces

Chopped Sweet Onion (1/8 - 1/4 C. per person)

Pinch sugar (I used Coconut Sugar, but any type will work)

Dash Kosher Salt

Dash Fresh Ground Pepper

Wash green beans and trim ends. Cut into approximate 2 inch lengths, set aside.

Heat skillet over med-high heat. Toss in bacon and cook, stirring constantly, until crispy brown (may need to reduce heat to med during cooking). Remove bacon from pan and set aside. Save enough grease in pan to cover bottom lightly.

Add Onion to pan, sprinkle with sugar and stir, saute over med heat until lightly golden and opaque (10-15 minutes).

Toss Green Beans into pan and stir together with onions, cover pan with snug fitting lid and cook over med heat for 10 minutes. Stirring occassionaly.

Toss in bacon and serve! Enjoy!!!
