ARTIST STATEMENT

DESCRIBE

The subject of this artwork is a bat wearing headphones and the setting is outer space. i made this using watercolour paints. I chose to create this because I had to add headwear, and i think bats are cute.

ANALYZE

I didn't really use any specific techniques for this project. The project did not evolve a ton either, except i was originally going to do a night sky background, then i changed it to outer space/galaxy themed.

INTERPRET

This artwork does not really have a story or meaning. It can relate to my life because I think bats are cute and I like to listen to music with headphones. I think that this artwork could be better if I practiced painting more, because I prefer to use other medias, so I am not the best painter.
