VoiceThread is an online presentation and storytelling tool. Users are able to incorporate images, text, voice, video, files, URLs, and drawings into their recordings. Stories are organized into slides that other users can view. Permissions can be set so that users can comment on each others' work. Collaboration is made easy with VoiceThread because contacts and groups can be created to allow users to share their stories with one another. Teachers can start threads for students to respond to with a video. Users can message each other, as well as the teacher for support. Teachers have access to all students' work. VoiceThread is a great tool for presentations, projects, assessments, and digital portfolios. VoiceThread is $79 per year, or $15 per month.
