Overview:
Pear Deck is an incredible online tool that makes your presentation slides interactive! Students are able to engage in the presentation from their own screens, providing you immediate formative data while increasing student engagement! Interactive questions can be added to any slides, and students join with a code that you provide when you start the presentation. Responses to questions can be shared to the class anonymously so that students can learn from each other. You can use Pear Deck on an old or new presentation that you've created using Google Slides or PowerPoint Online. There are many question types to choose from, including short response, multiple-choice, or by using numbers. You can even direct students to explore a specific website. The drawing and draggable features are also available with the premium subscription.
To access Pear Deck from Google Slides, go to Add-ons > Pear Deck for Google Slides Add-on > Open Pear Deck Add-on.
