Overview:
Google Jamboard is a free virtual interactive whiteboard developed by Google. A Jamboard can be created by clicking on the Google Waffle in the top right-hand corner, by clicking "New" while you are in your Google Drive, or during a Google Meet session. Google Jamboard allows multiple collaborators to work on a digital whiteboard at the same time. You can easily add more slides so each person can have their own slide that they contribute to, or all collaborators can work on the same slide. A background can be set for collaborators to add on top of, such as graph paper or an image. Collaborators can contribute with the pen, marker, highlighter, or brush. Text can be added with the text tool or on a sticky note. Images and shapes can also be added to any Jamboard. Use the laser tool to highlight key points. Completed Jamboards can be downloaded as PDFs. You can also make a copy of a Jamboard so that the original is not edited. This can be ideal when you create a template that you want to save for a later use. You can also see the history and restore the Jamboard to an earlier version. Google Jamboard is a terrific virtual interactive whiteboard that promotes collaboration.
