Overview:
Google Slides is a great online tool that can be used in a variety of ways! Google Slides is similar to PowerPoint but because it is fully online, collaboration is quick and easy! Google Slides automatically updates as you are working, and your work can be accessed from anywhere that you can access Google. Similar to PowerPoint, transitions, animations, images, videos, and links to websites can be included in the presentation.
Although Google Slides is a great presentation tool, this tool can be used for so much more! Students can use Google Slides for group projects, allowing members to work on the same presentation from different locations at the same time. Google Slides can be used during class work where students can respond to questions and show their work within text boxes. Students can also complete work on paper or a whiteboard and then take a picture on Google Slides to upload a picture of their work to the slideshow. Classes can also create interactive notebooks, play Jeopardy, animate a concept, and so much more! For more great ideas of ways to use Google Slides, check out the following website.
