Overview:

Flocabulary provides an engaging way for K-12 students to expand their knowledge in a variety of subject areas by incorporating hip-hop videos and supplemental activities! Flocabulary lessons provide music videos, which contain clickable lyrics. Videos are able to be viewed as a whole group or independently. Students can choose the speed that they watch the video at. Supplemental activities include reading passages, games, quizzes, and more! Students are even able to create their own hip-hop lyrics, promoting creativity and critical thinking, allowing teachers to assess students' understanding of larger concepts. Text-to-speech and discussion prompts are also available for each lesson. Teachers receive a 30-day free trial before subscribing. Flocabulary and Nearpod have teamed up so now Flocabulary videos and lessons can be added to Nearpod slides to make your lessons even more interactive!
