Overview:
Google Sites is an incredible online tool that allows you and your students to make their own websites! This website that you are currently on was created using Google Sites. This program is great because it is very user-friendly; all of the features you need can be found on the panel to the right of the screen. The creator can include textbox, images, embed websites, videos, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms, charts, and so much more! You can use a template or start from scratch. After choosing your theme, you can create subpages within your website. Another great feature is that you can embed links to other pages in your site right into text and images on the page. You can also direct your viewer to another website or article found online. Google Sites is a great way to send information home to families. Students can also use Google Sites to create projects and easily share their work with others. Because Google Sites is online, students can access their work outside of the classroom. They can also collaborate with others at the same time! Google Sites is a great resource for teachers, admin, and students!
