Self-Creation

To look in a mirror

And see nothing

Was scary at first

But to not know who you are

Can be a blessing and a curse

Because if I look in the mirror

And see nothing

What “self” am I supposed to find

Yet if I look in the mirror and see that it is blank

Now there is so much that I can create
