My own change

Starting over or starting new

Staying same or lying that you grew

New year, clean slate

New goals for us to make

New things aren't always nice

But we make it so you only see the light

See our shadow is our soul's knife

Slicing through the differences to make us all alike

Different we are

Difference we guard

For being different you need acceptance

And acceptance needs change

Change but we will

But why change together

Be your own change

And if you need to change

To make others see you've changed

Then you haven't changed at all...

Noshin Sinthin is in 10th grade and all of this is new for her, but she likes to write to express herself and organize her thoughts. She also likes to draw and design things.
