The Greenshoots Scheme
In a nutshell: The Greenshoots Awards Scheme provides dedicated funding for clinicians, health and social care professionals who are beginning to work as Principal Investigators.
Who's it for? Experienced clinicians, health and social care professionals.
NIHR PI Pipeline Programme
In a nutshell: The NIHR Principal Investigator Pipeline (PIPP) Programme will develop the skills, knowledge and experience required by research nurses and midwives to undertake a Principal Investigator (PI) role.
Who's it for? Nurses and Midwives who work in research delivery for at least 50% of their role.
NIHR Senior Research Leader - Nursing & Midwifery Programme
In a nutshell: The three-year NIHR Senior Research Leader - Nursing & Midwifery Programme empowers delegates to further increase research capacity and capability at a local, regional and national level and to support their development as future research leaders.
Who's it for? Research Nurses and Midwives.
NIHR/AoMRC Clinician Researcher Credentials Framework
In a nutshell: The NIHR and the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC) national framework of Master’s level qualifications provide the necessary networks, skills and confidence needed to lead and support clinical research delivery.
Who's it for? Experienced healthcare practitioners who have no/limited research experience or are currently working in research delivery, who aspire to take on leadership roles in clinical research delivery.
NIHR Fellowship Programme
In a nutshell: The NIHR Fellowship Programme been designed to support individuals at various points of their development in becoming leading researchers, from initial pre-doctoral training to senior post-doctoral research.
Who's it for? Clinical and Non-clinical applicants, varying from those 'new to research' to established research leaders.
NIHR Leaders Support and Development Programme
In a nutshell: The NIHR Leaders Support and Development Programme seeks to maintain and improve the quality of leadership in health and social care research by meeting the development needs of current leaders and early to mid-career researchers within the NIHR, whose focus is aligned with the strategic priorities of the NIHR.
Who's it for? NIHR Leaders and NIHR Emerging Research Leaders.
