Latest Reports

Here you can find useful information on where to find ODP, what to expect from it and how to use it.

What is ODP?

The Open Data Platform (ODP) is a data visualisation tool using Qlikview to analyse the data held within CPMS. It is primarily an open-use tool, so you can create your own account to access the system and view the vast majority of reports. There are a number of different "apps" or reports available from the main menu, including a dedicated CRN East of England one designed and built by the BI Team to meet our local reporting needs. Within the app there are also links to a feedback form to report errors or request changes.

All data in ODP is a snapshot, but it is automatically refreshed overnight from the Central Portfolio Management System (CPMS), so that once a report is built, you are always looking at data that is effectively live.

Although there is a lot of information available in many different forms, we are aware that many users find the range of options difficult to handle. In response to this, the East of England app is designed to be very straightforward to use for key reporting purposes. For Trusts, there is a suite of reports which can either be viewed online or downloaded and printed off in a single PDF document. For Specialties, there is an equivalent suite for their needs.

We are working to expand this to cover additional reporting needs. If you have any requests or needs that are not currently being met, please let us know through the feedback form or at crneoe.bihelpdesk@nihr.ac.uk.
