CRN East of England Executive

The CRN East of England Executive Group leads the organisation in accordance with NIHR Performance and Operating Framework, working to ensure the delivery of high quality research across the region.

CRN East of England Executive Group meetings

CRN East of England Executive Group meetings are held every six weeks and are chaired by our Clinical Director, Professor Jeremy Turner (Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH)). 

Along with Jeremy, the CRN East of England Executive Group also comprises: 

CRN East of England Partnership Group

The CRN East of England Partnership Group contains representatives from all of our Partner Organisations (POs) who receive funding to support NIHR CRN portfolio research. Its role is to provide oversight and input into local CRN (LCRN) plans, performance and strategy.

Partnership Group meetings are held three times a year and attended by Medical or R&D Directors from each Partner Organisation. An additional meeting is convened for Chief Executives of each PO Trust once a year. 

Meetings also include representation from at least one Public Contributor, and representatives from Primary Care, Public Health and Higher Education Institutions.

Annual Planning and Reporting

The Executive Group reports to the NIHR CRN Coordinating Centre, hosted by the University of Leeds, on all annual performance and planning for CRN East of England.
