About us
What we do
CRN East of England gives practical support to NHS and social care researchers in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and parts of Bedfordshire, Essex and Hertfordshire, to enable more patients to take part in high quality research. Our team includes doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, researchers and support staff based at hospitals, GP practices, social care organisations and academic institutions.
We are passionate about the positive impact clinical research can have on patient care. Through working together we can translate this passion into the effective delivery of studies within the region.
In addition to providing funding to help NHS and social care organisations deliver research we also:
provide support, such as helping with NIHR portfolio applications
deliver staff training & development
work to increase patient and public involvement in research
assist with data reporting
promote your work both locally and nationally, across a range of print and digital channels
