Home Care

We're supporting the delivery of research to help people who receive care in their own homes benefit from it.

Introduction to Research - Home Care Resource

This resource has been created to introduce research to Home Care managers, staff and users of services and their families.

We hope it will be helpful for those working in Home Care in understanding the benefits of research and the support available to you.

The package introduces research and how it can benefit your service and the users of your service and the users of your service, as well as giving you top tips for easy wins to promote research.

In Part One, you will cover a brief introduction of the package and how it works, as well as a look at how research can benefit you.

Part One will explore how research can make your professional life better, and how it is not as daunting as it can first appear. This part of the course will provide case studies, useful links and tips in getting started. We will also walk you through how to set up your free NIHR Learn account.

Part Two

You can use your new NIHR Learn account to access Part Two of the course, where you will be able to look further at what research is and how it can benefit you.
