Our name, CRN East of England, changed to the East of England RRDN as of Tuesday 1 October 2024. These changes are being managed in a way to minimise the impact on our partners and stakeholders, but here is some useful information on the main changes.
If referring to us in an internal communication, we use "National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) East of England Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN)" in the first instance, then RRDN for the rest of the document.
If referring to us in an external communication, we should only use 'NIHR Research Delivery Network'. Our regional name, as above, should only be referred to in external communications as part of a relevant staff job title, corporate document naming, or in other noun contexts.
Otherwise, the 'East of England' can be referenced in the body of the communication, e.g. in headings, subtitles, and introductions.
1 x 'Getting Involved in Research' Public newsletter
1 x Bulletin, now known as the 'East of England RRDN Newsletter'
Will cease to be issued by 31 March 2025.
The LCRN websites now redirect to the new RDN one.
Although a new RDN staff intranet is in development, we will continue to use the Hub Home for the foreseeable future. We are in the process of updating the Hub Home i.e. changing references to our name and going through all linked documents to determine their continued relevance.
Regional socials profiles are no longer being used. We are now co-managing the new national RDN profiles which are:
