The NIHR Hub is an online Google based platform which supports the collaboration of colleagues across the NIHR, and which this Hub Home sits within. The functionality of the NIHR Hub offers the same tools as those staff are familiar with using in NHS and social care organisations, such as email and calendar tools, as well as a local and national shared drive. The NIHR Hub supports the work of increasingly mobile teams.
All NIHR-funded staff are eligible for an NIHR Hub account. To apply for one for yourself or a new starter, please get in touch with eoe.rrdn@nihr.ac.uk.
If you need help accessing the NIHR Hub, please follow the below link to our NIHR Staff Information Hub, which has further signposts to help with IT Support and a how-to for our Google Apps Hub.
East of England RRDN is aware that some Trusts are experiencing issues getting onto the NIHR Hub or accessing all features. If you are experiencing issues, please contact eoe.rrdn@nihr.ac.uk.
Update to Hangouts/Meet/Webinar functionality - Live captions now available within webinars.
A Google Drive offline version is now available for offline editing and working.
Improvements to Google Sheets - enhanced features now available, such as custom locations for pivot tables and ability to copy images into Sheets.
Improvements to Google Drive Activity Dashboard - better visibility for who a document has been shared with and what level of permissions (view only/edit rights) have been granted. Comment snapshots now available to provide summary of document comments.
Hub Champions are individuals who support NIHR Hub use at their organisation and, with our support, can work with East of England RRDN and local IT departments to support the resolution of local access issues.
