Greenshoots Scheme Impact Survey

The CRN East of England Greenshoots (GS) scheme was launched in April 2019 to provide dedicated funding in the form of PA or sessional time for Clinicians, and Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHPs) taking on the role of Principal Investigator (PI) for the first time. The scheme’s aims were to grow the region’s research capability and increase recruitment to clinical studies.

In order to assess the impact of the Greenshoots Scheme a survey was sent to former Greenshoots award holders (32/43 award holders). Not all previous award holders were still in post when contacted. Responses were received from 12 (38%) recipients.
