Description of Course: The Neshaminy School District’s elementary schools’ Library programs are aligned to the PA Core standards and American Association of School Librarians standards. At the elementary level, there is a strong emphasis library citizenship, technology etiquette and safety, and digital citizenship. Students will learn about the purpose of the library. Instruction includes how to take care of print materials as well as how to find, borrow, and return a book. Read-alouds will promote collaborative discussions among the students. Students will also learn technology skills and important social skills.
