Description of Course: At each level, the visual arts program uses a spiral curriculum as a platform to further essential skills for productive citizens through the creation, presentation, and evaluation of student work habits and art production while connecting the art process to personal meanings and every day connections to the world.
We provide each student with opportunities to experiment and explore different materials and techniques that encourages a passion for making creative choices. As each student develops both cognitively and physically, they gain a greater control over their ability to use materials, techniques, and meet challenges.
High school students may choose specific courses that allow them to specialize in a medium or discipline. These skills then lead to career paths preparing students to be innovative global citizens.
