Description of Course: Students study the major events and trends that shaped the modern world from the end of World War II through the modern day. Students will develop an understanding of current world issues, focusing on the role played by the United States, and relate them to their historical, geographical, political, economic and cultural contexts. In addition, students will consider multiple perspectives in order to understand international relations.
