Description of Course: The Advanced Placement course in Government is an intensive study of American Government and Politics. The course is designed to give students a critical perspective and analysis of American governmental and political institutions, groups and beliefs. The course requires students to have extensive and intensive reading & writing skills. It is recommended that students taking this course take the Advanced Placement (AP) National Exam at the end of the course.
