Empower College & Career Center Transportation Information (2025–2026)

To support student participation in programs at the Empower College and Career Center, Jackson County High School provides shuttle transportation to and from the Empower campus. Please review the transportation details below:

Morning Transportation

• Empower Shuttle Buses begin running at 7:30 AM.

• Students riding the shuttle from JCHS to Empower in the mornings must report directly to the Empower shuttle bus in the JCHS bus loop upon arrival.

• The final morning shuttle to Empower departs promptly at 7:50 AM.
  ⛔ There will be no late buses to Empower.

• Breakfast is available at Empower for students upon arrival.

• Car Riders:

  • May be dropped off at JCHS to ride the shuttle,

  • Or dropped off directly at Empower.

• Student Drivers:

  • May drive directly to Empower in the morning or

  • Park at JCHS and take the morning shuttle.

Midday Transportation

• Students returning to JCHS from Empower midday will ride the shuttle that arrives back at the JCHS bus loop at approximately 11:15 AM.

• Students leaving JCHS for Empower midday will need to board the shuttle in the bus loop at the end of 2nd period.

  • These students must be on time, as buses will depart promptly.

• Student Drivers:

  • May drive directly to Empower at the end of 2nd period or take the midday shuttle.

Dismissal Transportation

• Students attending Empower in the afternoon will ride a shuttle back to JCHS that arrives for dismissal.

• Car Riders:

  • May be picked up at Empower or

  • Return via shuttle to be picked up at JCHS.

• Student Drivers:

  • Student drivers will be dismissed directly from the Empower campus and do not need to return to JCHS at the end of the day unless they have a scheduled after-school activity.

Afternoon Activity Shuttle

• There will be an after-school shuttle from JCHS to the Empower campus for planned club meetings and other scheduled activities.

• Please reach out to Empower directly for additional information about the after-school shuttle and activity schedules.

🚫 Please Note: Student drivers may not transport other students to Empower. All non-driving students must use the Empower shuttle.
