Three times a year, during extended breaks, we ask our teachers and staff to 'unplug' and rejuvenate to be at their best for our students when they return. With Thanksgiving break nearly upon us, I wanted to share this expectation with you so you are aware that we have asked that staff members refrain from sending emails internally and externally between November 23 and December 1st. This helps our teachers and staff recharge as their focus shifts to important times with families and friends.
Recognizing that communication is vital to a thriving school we want to share this message in advance so you can contact teacher prior to the break with any needs you may have. If there are important questions or concerns, please reach out to school staff by Wednesday evening (Nov.20th) so they have time to respectfully reply before stepping away for the break.
We are thankful for all of our families at JA. This amazing community has been a superb school to be a part of and we are appreciative for all you do for your children and our school. I hope you also 'unplug' for the break and spend time with those most important in your lives as well.
