PRINCIPAL NOTES
State testing is designed to assess students' proficiency in various subjects and to evaluate the effectiveness of our educational programs. Results are used to ensure educational accountability. Please take note of the above testing dates for your student this year. Having all students take these assessments is imperative, so that students, parents, and our staff know how to make improvements. Without full participation, we cannot accurately measure student achievement.
At JA, we are striving to get better each and every day and these results are one data point to support us in preparing students the future. We share this information to provide you time to plan for vacations and appointments that may be coming up as making-up missed student tests can be quite challenging. Overall, state testing plays a significant role in assessing student learning, driving school improvement efforts, and most importantly keeping parents informed about their child's education.

JustServe is hoping to help support this effort by encouraging the service. Here is a LINK from JustServe which contains a list of local organizations with projects suited to youth who are wanting to serve their communities.
