With final exams, student dismissal is at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday and 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday with no students reporting to JA on Thursday, as all staff will be attending graduation.
It is hard to believe that the final week of school is upon us. Will be a wild week for sure. Monday will be the only full day of classes with finals taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday morning and graduation Thursday in Golden. If your child misses any of their finals, they should arrange a time with their teacher for Friday morning to make-up the exam before grades are finalized.
Due to some spectacular athletic performances this spring, on Tuesday, we have changed the release time to 11:45 a.m. to celebrate all student-athletes who earned the tremendous honor of going to state in their spring sport. Following morning finals we will have an all-school assembly to recognize their accomplishments before dismissal.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our entire school community for making my first year truly exceptional. Your unwavering support, dedication, and enthusiasm have created an environment where every student thrived and flourished. Together, we've learned a ton, made memories that will last for some time, and set up future success for all students next year. I couldn't be more thankful for the incredible journey we've shared.

Girls Golf placed 4th as a team at the Region 3 tournament. Freshman Paige Danforth and Senior Freja Hampton placed 4th and 13th, respectively, to earn their spots to compete at State. This is one of the best finishes for our girl's golf team in the past decade. It was a great season by the whole team and we wish Freja and Paige luck as they compete with the best in the state on Monday the 20th, and Tuesday the 21st!

Everyone has sensory preferences. But when a child's likes and dislikes impact their daily activities, cause an oversized reaction or lead to behaviors that affect their health or safety, that could be a sign that they are experiencing sensory processing challenges. Experts at Children's Hospital Colorado share more about our eight (yes, eight!) senses, what happens when kids can't effectively process sensory information and how to best support them
