JANUARY 3, 2024

Students return to school on January 4th for a late start. A-Block begins at 10:25 a.m. In case the weather is cold be aware the building does not open until 9:30 a.m. on late starts as we do not have supervision due to teacher meetings. The following day First Period will start and students will be allowed in the building at 7:25 a.m. to go to their first class.

PRINCIPAL NOTES

Hope you made the holiday break great. The opportunity for educators to rejuvenate and prepare for new classes, new students and new content is always welcome. Our staff has been hard at work prepping to continue the high-quality instruction they provide JA students and we cannot wait until they return Thursday at 10:25 a.m.

We have some unfortunate news to share, that Mrs. McGregor, our Digital Tech Librarian will not returning this January. Do not fret, however, as Mrs. Morris our Library Media Specialist will ensure that the library is open each school day for students to work, learn and research.

Please note that the next JA Newsletter will come out a week from Friday, on January 12th.

REMINDERS

Dress Code

With the return to school after likely many gifts that included clothing this break, we want to reinforce that our school dress code is located in the student handbook. We recognize it may be difficult to shop and find items that match all expectations, so please note that specifically a 4" inseam is expected to be worn under any items that may not meet standards.
