PRINCIPAL NOTES

The end of the semester is an amazing and stressful time for students and families. So many cool events taking place, like our band and choir concert last week; leading into our drama's performance of Seussical and our girls basketball team playing at Ball Arena this week. In addition, college courses for students are ending and a there are a variety of cumulative projects and MAP assessments on tap this week.

With all that said, the most important priority is family. If you can attend one of these events with your child, do. If the need to put aside some schoolwork for a family dinner is wanted, make it happen. Check in to make sure that your child is doing well as finals are just a week away and they taking care of themselves and their peers.

How to Keep Kids Healthy This Holiday Season

The holidays are a joyous time filled with family bonding, delicious food and memories that last a lifetime. However, the busyness of this special time can also make it hard to focus on staying healthy. Stress, colds and extra sugar can all threaten to make this season memorable for the wrong reasons. In this article, our partners at Children’s Hospital Colorado explain some of the best ways families can help their kids stay active, eat a balanced diet and avoid getting sick.

REMINDERS

Enrolljeffco opened December 5th for the 2024-2025 school year. All current JA families need to complete the Intent to Return form by January 12th, so we know your student is returning to JA. If your student will not be returning to JA next year, you still need to log into enrolljeffco.org to indicate the change in enrollment.  If you have a current senior who will be graduating in the spring of 2024, you do not need to do anything in system.

Please contact our Registrar Anne Leoni (aleoni@jajags.com) with questions.
