PRINCIPAL NOTES

FacebookInstagram

This month has been full of events where JA has welcomed our entire community with Summit Academy and Elementary students as regular visitors to the building. It has been just amazing to see so many homeschoolers a part of our winter basketball season, including three who were honored at senior night. Registration for spring sports includes many members of our extended school community.

Additionally, our elementary intramurals teams continue to perform at halftime of high school games invigorating the crowd and providing a taste of future Jaguar stars. Prior to contests we have seen Summit Academy’s Signing Choir and individual singers perform the National Anthem for the audience.

We know we are lucky to have such a great community on many different campuses who all contribute to the the excellence that exists at JA. We truly see ourselves as a k-12 community.

Junior High Baseball

It is that time of year again, spring is right around the corner and it won't be long until the kids hit the pools for summer and school is long in the rearview mirror, but until that time, baseball has arrived. Junior high baseball is returning and is right around the corner. There will be an informational meeting for parents and athletes on Tuesday, February 27th at 4:30 in the secondary commons. NEW THIS YEAR....6th grade is allowed to partake, so we are inviting any 6th grade baseball players to come as well. The reason for this will be explained at the meeting. We are looking forward to a fun season and I hope to see all those interested in not only learning the game, but growing the JA baseball brand.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Kirkley at nkirkley@jajags.com. We will see you on the 27th!
