Hello everyone,
This week we have interesting news around how we improve our safety during production and office times, the results of the maturity assessment, fun Christmas updates and, last but not least, a save the date for our first party in 2023!

This week we were happy to welcome our colleagues, Philipp and Alexander, from the international team to assess our operational excellence maturity.
Thanks for the involvement and the participation of some of you which allowed them to score us.
We got an overall score of 1.24 (out of 4), placing us on the 8th position out of the 12 DC assessed. Yes, not the best, but learning never stops at HelloFresh and we will define our areas of improvements for next year to reach a better score the next time!
Of course some of you will be involved for allowing us to reach the extra level, hope you are excited!
Last month, various in-house BHV training sessions were held at our Klappolder and Prismalaan sites. We gave our current BHV officers a refresher, but also trained new colleagues to join our BHV teams. In this way, we expanded our BHV teams to contribute to a safe working environment for everyone, at any time of the day.

What can you do yourself?
If an alarm goes off in the building:
Stay calm and avoid panic.
Make your way to the assembly point, via the shortest route, from the location in question.
Follow the instructions of the BHV team and wait until the BHV leader signals it is safe to entrance the building again.
In case of fire and/or smoke.
Stay calm and avoid panic.
Alert a BHV officer nearby and/or press a hand alarm if there is no alarm yet.
Make your way to the assembly point, via the shortest route, from the location in question.
Follow the instructions of the BHV team and wait until the BHV leader signals it is safe to entrance the building again.
In case of an incident or accident.
Stay calm and avoid panic.
Stay with the victim, and alert (or ask a colleague) a BHV officer nearby.
Give the BHV officer room to act and help the victim.
Follow the instructions of the BHV team.
And last but not least. When an alarm goes off in the DC, an evacuation is always initiated. Once started, this evacuation is not aborted in the event of a false alarm. Do not enter the building until the alarm is switched off and the BHV leader signals it is safe to entrance the building again.

Upcoming Tuesday the 20th or Wednesday the 21st, everyone will receive their HelloFresh Christmas present!

Upcoming Thursday our Prismalaan team will procedure our HelloFresh Christmas boxes and the Klappolder team will make sure all matching wines will be packed in our winebox. Together, we hope this will ensure an unforgettable Christmas for our customers.
After a very successful 2022, we would like to launch off the New Year with all of you. We really hope that as many people as possible will come on 11 January to toast (and party) to a great start of 2023!
