OPEX DC Conventional Team Visit – Bjuv, Sweden
This week, the OPEX DC Conventional team visited our fulfillment center in Bjuv, Sweden, currently best-in-class in recipe expansion. This OPEX team includes members from Norway, Sweden, France, and BNLX. Bjuv is on track to reach 75 recipes by week 48. We identified the following key success factors:
A structured changeover process at kitting, managed through visual boards
Single person kitting for recipes with a low volume
Use of cluster picking to pre-assemble kits with a low volume
A strong batch- and resource planning process to ensure smooth execution
The visit provided valuable insights!
Celebration WMS 2.0
Today, we celebrated the successful launch of WMS 2.0! This project began almost 1.5 years ago with the scoping of an entirely new warehouse management system.
As the first market to launch WMS 2.0 in its full scope, we can all be incredibly proud of this significant achievement. While 'learning never stops' we can confidently say that the implementation has been a great success just a few weeks post-launch.
We took the opportunity this morning to thank everyone for their commitment and distribute training certificates.
Printing from the cloud
Last week, we successfully completed the "hard launch" of our new sticker printing system, a significant step forward in our production process. Previously, our Ops-Support team relied on outdated infrastructure to print all the necessary stickers for our production days. The old system, which hadn't been updated in years, was showing its age with frequent freezes and stuttering, especially when we needed to update templates.
Our solution was to migrate the entire setup to AWS (Amazon Web Services). This not only gives us the ability to easily upgrade the server as needed but also ensures seamless integration with our other services, since most of our tech stack is already hosted on AWS.
This upgrade is about more than just a server migration. We've successfully integrated it with the user interface that was built with "Project Facelift." This new UI, combined with the power of the AWS cloud, allows us to print stickers more reliably and provides us with the foundation to make future improvements.

Stress & Wellbeing – Tips to take care of yourself
Many of us struggle with anxiety or stress in our daily lives, sometimes because of work, sometimes because of personal challenges. A little stress can give energy, but too much can make you tired, unfocused, or even sick. That’s why it’s important to take small steps every day to manage stress and look after your wellbeing.
✅ Stress can have a big impact on how you feel at work. Here are some simple tips to stay healthy and reduce stress:
💤 Get enough sleep: try to keep a steady sleep routine and limit screen time before bed.
💧 Stay hydrated and eat regularly: this helps to keep your energy level stable.
🏃 Stay active after work: do some sport, go for a walk, or find another way to move your body.
🧘 Try the 3-3-3 rule when you feel stressed or anxious:
-Look around and name 3 things you see (for example: a pallet, a safety sign, a crate of boxes).
-Listen and name 3 things you hear (for example: people talking, crates being stacked, an EPT passing by).
-Move 3 parts of your body
(this can be small movements like rolling your shoulders, wiggling your fingers,
or tapping your feet).
This small exercise helps you slow down, breathe, and bring your
attention back to the here and now.

Bi-weekly update De Kas
We're excited to share again some updates from our new site, De Kas! The project is moving full steam ahead. Installation of the cooling system has begun, and the freezer doors are now being put in place. The walls in the sanitary rooms are complete, and we were even able to access the offices using a proper staircase for the first time, a real (small)milestone!
As you can see in the photo below, the overview office in the heart of the production area is almost finished. This central space will be a key location for our operational managers to oversee production and hold Tier meetings, helping us stay on top of our KPIs. Upstairs, the canteen and kitchen are also starting to get their final form.
One of the greatest things about the new site is the incredible amount of natural light. It’s a huge improvement from our current building and will create a much more pleasant work environment for everyone.
Happy Birthday to.....
