Introduction
Hi all,
Happy 1st of August! The weather forecast is looking a little better, and perhaps the summer sun will return to our beautiful Bleiswijk.
This week was all about pride, visibility, and solidarity. During Pride Week, we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and reflect on the struggle for equal rights, acceptance, and freedom to be who you are. Today, we wrap up this week at our DC, where you can expect a small but tasty treat.

Production updates
WMS 2.0 - Milestone 1C succesfully live : 🎉
Last week, we went live with Trailer Unload and Palletization, and the rollout went very smoothly.
This milestone mainly involved the Inbound team and Expedition.
After several training sessions, all drivers, counters, and expedition members were ready for this big step.
All trucks are now unloaded via the RF unload feature in WMS, which replaces the former Kanban system. Also, all pallets that are inbounded, are now marked with a License Plate label, which helps to identify and track the pallets throughout the warehouse.
A big achievement and an important step for the further rollout, which is coming soon!
A big shoutout to everyone involved!
To enable traceability of our pallets in our warehouse, a lot of scanning is involved. Therefore, all EPTs, dock doors, rack locations, lines and printers have a scanning label on it. Please keep these labels unscratched and do not remove them!
Food & Quality
Clothing policy in the production area🥼
🚨 During the warm summer days, people tend to dress more lightly—wearing items like shorts, dresses, and sandals. Last month, this led to several situations where individuals attempted to enter the production area in such light clothing.
🏭 The temperature in our production area is 4°C, so wearing the correct clothing is essential.
Light summer clothing—such as shorts, dresses, and sandals—is not considered appropriate, as it does not provide adequate protection and may introduce unforeseen risks to the environment or yourself.
🥼 Please therefore remind yourself of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements for our production environment, also during summer days:
All employees are required to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by HelloFresh at all designated times.
Visitors must wear at least a high-visibility vest or jacket and S3 safety shoes or safety toe caps when accessing production areas.

When entering the production floor, a work jacket (visitor jacket, freezer jacket, overcoat) must be worn; legs must be covered with long trousers, and safety shoes or safety toe caps must be worn over closed-toe shoes.
These requirements are also applicable to office staff and visitors

Baby borrel Daniëlle!
Our colleague Daniëlle started her maternity leave this past Tuesday! We marked the moment together with a pink baby borrel.
If all goes as planned, we look forward to welcoming Danielle back to the distribution center in November.
