The days are getting longer, the sun is shining more often, and the first flowers are starting to bloom. Take the opportunity to go for a walk during your break or lunch!

Production updates
Upcoming Locker Clean-Up Production & Important Update
Clearing and cleaning lockers
Our lockers will be cleared, cleaned and repaired again in the upcoming 2 weeks!
26th and 27th March - Ladies and Men's changing room. incl. the corridor towards the production hall.
2nd and 3rd of April - All lockers located in ' de Pier '.
What do we expect from you?
1) Make sure your locker is empty no later than the Tuesday before the cleaning.
2) Leave the locker open.
**All lockers that are not empty on our cleaning day will be opened and emptied. All items removed from the
lockers can be picked up at the facilities department with your lockernumber until April 19th. After this date, we will dispose all items that have not been claimed by his owner**
Important update lockers - March 28th
This locker cleaning will be different compared to previous times.
Hellofresh
From March 28, HelloFresh employees will be assigned a personal locker in the Ladies’ and Men’s changing rooms, as well as partially in the corridor leading to the production hall.
These personal lockers will be marked with a lime-green sticker for easy identification.
*Visit the reception starting March 28 to receive your assigned personal locker.
Charlieworks / Flexibel
The remaining lockers in the corridor and the Pier will be exclusively for Flexibel and Charlieworks employees. These lockers will continue to function as day lockers, meaning they may be used by different individuals daily.

Food Safety Fact
Labels do more than just sit on packaging, and missing labels could mean big risks!
Let’s dive into our newest Food Safety Fact on why a quick label check makes all the difference:
Evacuation due to malfunction fire alarm system
🚨 Last Tuesday, during Assembly working hours, the fire alarm went off. Everyone followed the evacuation procedure and quickly exited the DC to the assembly point.
🚒The Fire department came on-site, and after inspecting the DC they declared the situation safe, allowing all employees to go back inside and continue their work.
🔧 The fire alarm was triggered due to a malfunction in the system. The Technical Department worked swiftly to resolve the issue.
Next steps:
The Technical Department will analyse this malfunction to prevent recurrence.
The evacuation will be evaluated and areas for improvement will be discussed with the BHV+ team and other relevant parties. If you have any suggestions or comments, please contact our Head of BHV (wiebe.peters@hellofresh.nl)
Safety improvement at MAO
⚠️ The MAO layout didn’t provide a path for employees to cross the line of pallets, forcing them to walk around. Even though it is not allowed to walk on pallets, because of the trip and fall hazard, employees still often did so to save time. Unfortunately one of the employees got hurt doing so recently.
✅ The MAO team worked together with the Internal Transport team to find a solution for this safety issue. Instead of placing pallets directly next to each other, they make sure gaps are created between every few pallets, creating safer walking paths. This change aims to prevent employees from walking on the pallets and reduce the risk of injury.

MP and Procurement team on delivery!
The MP team and Procurement team went on a nice delivery trip yesterday. In pairs, they drove several routes starting from HUB Nieuwegein to gain a deeper understanding of our drivers' experiences. This hands-on approach allowed them to better appreciate the challenges and logistics involved in the delivery process and fostering stronger collaboration between the teams.
MAO Team event!
Last Wednesday, the MAO team had a team outing. A real championship was held at the bowling alley in Zoetermeer, where Peter came out on top. 🎳
Afterwards, they all had a nice dinner after which some fanatics still wanted to hold a championship on the billiard table. While playing billiards, a lot of hidden talents emerged which made the game very exciting! In short, a great team outing and definitely not the last! 💚
