Start BHV+ training

Today, the first group of the BHV+ team for the upcoming year completed their training. With a mix of experienced and new team members, it was a day full of learning, teamwork, and hands-on practice.

To make the training as realistic as possible, a LOTUS victim (a trained actor simulating injuries) was present, giving the team the opportunity to practice first aid in a lifelike scenario.

SAFETY ALERT!

Every day, more than 50 EPT’s and other vehicles are moving through our DC. With so many vehicles and people working in the same space, it only takes a moment of inattention for a serious accident to happen.

Unfortunately, last week one of our colleagues was seriously injured after coming into contact with an EPT. This incident is a strong reminder of how important it is to stay alert at all times, when you are walking or driving in our DC.

Internal traffic safety tips:

• Limit your speed while driving.

• Use your horn when there is limited visibility (for example around high stacks).

• Make eye contact with each other before moving forward.

• Stay on the designated paths, and be extra cautious when driving or walking in the buffer area’s.
