Production updates
Update reducing waste
As we shared in our previous update, we launched touchless ordering in July, with the full rollout completed just a couple of weeks ago. We expected this launch to significantly reduce waste and those expectations have been met! Over the past weeks, we’ve seen the following results:
WK 34: 10 ct CPB
WK 35: 10 ct CPB
WK 36: 13 ct CPB (WMS rollout impact)
WK 37: 15 ct CPB (WMS rollout impact)
WK 38: 8 ct CPB
Our ambitious target was set at 10 ct CPB. Even though we had already worked hard before the launch to bring waste levels down, it’s truly amazing to see that we’ve now reached and even surpassed this target! We also see the absolute waste numbers decreasing. The attached graphs highlight just how impactful this change has been.
A big thank you to everyone involved in making this possible, especially Mitchell and Jedaja, who put in consistent effort week after week to help bring the waste numbers down. Great job!
DC Canada visit for Menu Expansion
Last week, some of our team members, together with our International colleagues had the privilege of visiting our team in Edmonton. This was an incredibly insightful trip that showcased the site’s remarkable low error rate and strong culture. We were particularly impressed by how the team successfully manages the 100 recipes, with low-tech solutions and a powerful sense of ownership. Together with the Canadians we brainstormed about future possibilities to further expand the menu in an efficient way. Besides the workshops we found some great learning for our site, we shared our insights with your managers, if you would like to know more please feel free to reach out to your manager, Daan, Luuk or Lisa, they can tell you all about it!

Stress & Wellbeing – Tips to take care of yourself
Many of us struggle with anxiety or stress in our daily lives, sometimes because of work, sometimes because of personal challenges. A little stress can give energy, but too much can make you tired, unfocused, or even sick. That’s why it’s important to take small steps every day to manage stress and look after your wellbeing.
✅ Stress can have a big impact on how you feel at work. Here are some simple tips to stay healthy and reduce stress:
💤 Get enough sleep: try to keep a steady sleep routine and limit screen time before bed.
💧 Stay hydrated and eat regularly: this helps to keep your energy level stable.
🏃 Stay active after work: do some sport, go for a walk, or find another way to move your body.
🧘 Try the 3-3-3 rule when you feel stressed or anxious:
-Look around and name 3 things you see (for example: a pallet, a safety sign, a crate of boxes).
-Listen and name 3 things you hear (for example: people talking, crates being stacked, an EPT passing by).
-Move 3 parts of your body
(this can be small movements like rolling your shoulders, wiggling your fingers,
or tapping your feet).
This small exercise helps you slow down, breathe, and bring your
attention back to the here and now.

Sublime Awards - Q4 2025
It is time for our very own Benelux Awards - the Sublime Award again at our Strategy Session at Pakhuis de Zwijger.
You can nominate a colleague who you think in the last quarter has been going above and beyond and has been a true ambassador of our DNA values, has a 'can-do' attitude, and who you think deserves the award.

Bi-weekly update De Kas
We're excited to share again some updates from our new site, De Kas! The project is moving full steam ahead. Installation of the cooling system has begun, and the freezer doors are now being put in place. The walls in the sanitary rooms are complete, and we were even able to access the offices using a proper staircase for the first time, a real (small)milestone!
As you can see in the photo below, the overview office in the heart of the production area is almost finished. This central space will be a key location for our operational managers to oversee production and hold Tier meetings, helping us stay on top of our KPIs. Upstairs, the canteen and kitchen are also starting to get their final form.
One of the greatest things about the new site is the incredible amount of natural light. It’s a huge improvement from our current building and will create a much more pleasant work environment for everyone.
