Introduction
Hi everyone,
This week we're kicking off the new month, and we do this with a big highlight for this week: The summer party with circus theme! Cheerful games, tasty treats and plenty of fun. Make sure to join - it's going to be an unforgettable day!

Production updates
Results Load-Bearing Test for Large Wine Boxes 🍷📦
In last week's newsletter you could read about, and vote on, the Load-Bearing capacity test we were doing for the Large Wineboxes (6 wines). It was interesting to hear all your theories and thoughts, but the jury is out, and the results are in!
A refresher of the test constraints can be seen in the image below:
Worst case was actually tested with 303 KGs, intermediate with 183 KGs and realistic with 96 KGs, all of the boxes were under stress for 2 days (48 hours).
None of the wine bottles were broken 🥳🎉
However, in the worst case scenario the box (with 303 KGs on top of it) did get crushed quite a bit. We are currently discussing the ramifications of this, but this will most likely not be a blocker to go-live with the injection of Wine-L boxes into the HF box pallets.

We are pleased to announce the launch of an exciting initiative aimed at transforming the way we collaborate and share information. The “MVP Tiered Meetings” project was created with the aim of making our meetings more focused, efficient and integrated into our daily workflow.
Tired of meetings that seem to lead to nothing concrete? Get ready for a significant change! 🎉
🎯 This project aims to introduce a hierarchical meeting structure, with defined agendas and specific focuses for each level, ensuring that crucial information reaches the right people at the right time and problems receive an appropriate follow-up.
⌛ Implementation Timeline: June - July.
In the coming weeks, further details on the functioning of the new meeting system will be shared.
Together, we can make our meetings a powerful and effective tool for our daily work.

SSC Team Update
This week we have 2 new joiners. Valentine Bray is joining us in the SCC team for France and Albin Ejupi is joining the SCC team in the Nordics. Fun fact, Albin Ejupi used to work in the QC team in Bjuv, so he'll bring great background knowledge to the SCC team regarding QC.
Nisrine has gone to Lisses to implement best practices and share valuable knowledge. Besides that, she'll also be there train the new colleague to get used to our working method and procedures. We've officialy rolled out the handover sheet to the French and Nordics markets. The handover sheet is used by the SCC team to keep track of everything that is going on within a boxweek (eg. used to track updates on short deliveries, rejections etc). The archive page of this tool should help the buyers understand what the issues within the boxweek were.
Romee has lately been busy to prepare the rollout of the Inventory Planner for the SCC team, which will replace the WeekOverview. The Inventory Planner ensures that a lot of things happen automatically, like registered shortages on deliveries. This will reduce manual work for us. The expectation is that the Inventory Planner will be launched on on Friday, June 20th.
Mitchell has recently visited the Nordics to gain insights regarding the waste. He'll be doing a deep-dive together with our colleagues in the Nordics how we can reduce the waste there.

🍏 SKU improvement 🍏
From Whatsapp escalation to SKU improvement:
A few weeks ago, the FSQA team received a video and photos showing an issue with our koolrabi deliveries. The product arrived with soaking wet leaves, creating not only slippery floors, but also the production teams had to spend extra time manually removing the leaves.
We’re pleased to share that from now on koolrabi will be delivered without leaves.
This means no more wet clothes and slippery floors! A simple but effective step which makes the process faster, easier and safer.
Safety improvement
⚠️ Low visibility for drivers can lead to unsafe situations on crossing points with persons or other vehicles.
✅ Convex mirrors are placed at the entrance of the MAO to increase visibility - and thereby safety.

Circus Prismalaan
After weeks of preparation, we are almost ready for the Summer Fair 2025: Circus Prismalaan.
An immense amount of work has been done in the background to arrange everything down to the last detail so you can have a wonderful afternoon. The only thing we cannot influence is the weather, but we will assume the best, otherwise there is room to stand warm and dry.
And with each other's company, it will be a party either way! We can guarantee you will go home with a smile and well-filled stomach.

''De Kas''
Roof and Facede Completed!
We’re excited to share that we are coming close to a major milestone in the "De Kas" project: the completion of the roof and facade. With the building now fully enclosed, we’d like to invite our production team to visit the site and experience the impressive size of the building and get a glimpse of the beautiful new location!
