Digital split list
Digital split list
Splitting is the concept of dividing and directing SKU pallets to the correct production station.
To improve the Splitting process the Split List, which describes the Splitting Tasks, is converted from a Paper to a Digital version.
This means that a Split Operator does not receive and to throw away a pile of 45+ papers anymore each day.
With the Digital Split List (DSL) the Split Operator can simply refresh the DSL app on his tablet to view the Splitting Tasks for the day.
Due to the success of the DSL, this concept will also be implemented for other production paper lists (e.g. Rack List, Count List) .
The success of the DSL could not have been achieved without value input from the SCC, Internal transport, and Opex teams, and ofcourse the one who developed the DSL app Miguel Coelho.
All in all we are on a great trajectory in saving mother nature and moving to a paperless production site .
