It's all wet outside and the temperature is almost as low as within our DC. Nevertheless we stand before an special boxweek with the safety week in sight.
This week you'll read some nice updates from several teams and an announcement for the upcoming christmas market!

Production Updates
Bi-weekly ops-tech sprint update
The past two weeks we focused mainly on the waste tool dashboard and Gsheet and Chimera phase 1. We can celebrate that Chimera phase 1 is now fully live! Large steps were also made with the Kanban internal logistics move order app.
The coming two weeks work will continue on the Waste tool and the Kanban app, but on a much smaller scale. Most of our capacity will go into the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas! A lot of small and big changes need to be made to facilitate the holiday boxes and shifting production days.

Internal Logistics
Last Wednesday the Internal Logistics team went bowling as a team event.
A lot of strikes were thrown, plates full of bitterballen were eaten so it was a successful event!
Upcoming Safety Week
Get ready for the safety week! Larry's website with the animations is all done and ready to be watched. Keep your eye out for our posters and make sure to scan the code to visit the website and enter the safety quiz. Unfortunately we had to cancel the vitality fair for this week but we will postpone this to next year. The parkour for the EPT race is ready so make sure to sign up and maybe our safest EPT driver award will be yours to win first!!
"De Kas" update
This week, together with the developers of our new warehouse, we went to see HelloFresh's new site in Barleben(Germany). We did this to give the developers a clear picture of our HelloFresh standards and look and feel. It was a hugely successful trip, with lots of good discussions and great learnings. Next week, we will sign the lease and development agreement. This will officially take us to the permit application phase!
OPS-tech trainingsday!
Tuesday the ops-tech team followed a training on Amazon Data immersion in Supply Chain. We were introduced to the huge range of services that Amazon Web Services offers to build data-driven companies. The team learned about data collecting, storing, validating and transforming best practices. As well as insights into data modelling, optimization, machine learning and AI solutions. HelloFresh is a big customer of AWS so we can use a lot of their existing services to our advantage. It was a great opportunity to broaden our knowledge and get a glimpse into the potential future of our operations.

As already shared with you in our newsletter from last week, we will organize a X-mas market on the 20th of December. Thank you to everyone who has filled it in and for your very valuable feedback. We will now start analyzing the results and will come back to you with an update in December. Lastly, thank you to everyone who helped organizing the survey. Even though we experienced some hectic moments, the teamwork made this 100% score happen! 💪
