Production Updates
OFF SITE Production Leaders
Yesterday our production leaders went on an off site. During this day we focused on two topics:
Strategic initiatives and focus areas 2024
Brainstorm session: what do we expect from our leaders within the production team?
In the upcoming quarter we will scope the different projects together with all different stakeholders and teams, create the first draft of our roadmap for 2024 and start defining our new OKRs.
DMP Hardware Rework
The last two weeks the technicians from Global came over again to further improve the tech on our kitting lines. This time they drastically improved the cable management on kitting sections A and B. Our own technical maintenance team checked and approved the work from Global to ensure that the cable management now meets our standards. Finally the Global technicians upgraded the led's, the ones that show the pick instructions, as the firmware of the previous led's was outdated which can lead to major maintenance issues. The Global technicians will come back in week 45/46 to continue their work on kitting sections C to F.

Today, we enjoyed cupcakes from Cakery, made by Samira. With 400 cupcakes ordered, we hope everyone has tasted (at least) one 😉
Engagement survey for frontline!
From November 6-19, we are running an engagement survey for all our frontline staff, including temp agencies. This means we will hopefully gather important insights on topics like employee well-being, HelloFresh leadership and diversity & inclusion from around 700 people. And, for the ones filling it in, a nice customized gift will be waiting 👀.
Encourage your team members to fill it in! A plan will be announced soon to make sure everyone knows how, when, and where they can fill in the survey.

❗Workday update❗
We have an update for you on the launch of Workday, which was scheduled for Thursday 26 October. During the latest checks, we noticed that some crucial things still need to be adjusted. Because we want everything to be right before going live, we have decided today, in consultation with Global, to postpone the launch by one week to Thursday 2 November.
This gives Global a chance to get everything right and us a chance to do extra checks on things like leave balances, personal data and test processes. Specifically, this also means that you will start receiving your login details for Workday on Thursday 2 November.
With this, we hope to make the transition as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, please reach out to Myrthe or Lotte.
A new segment! Renee bakt er wat van 🍳
We were very much surprised to see Renee successfully frying an egg on Wednesday. We knew this was a big moment and that we had to do something with it. So, a new newsletter segment has officially started: Renee bakt er wat van (translated: Renee successfully bakes it).
Renee, keep up the good work and keep sending us pictures of your wonderful creations! We look forward to seeing more of it.
