De Kas Workshop
On Monday and Tuesday we had two days of intensive workshop for the new DC De Kas together with our global counterpart. The goal of this workshop was to do a value stream mapping of our current way of working and define a first draft of a future state for the new DC, which means looking at how we operate today, where we see improvement opportunities and look at how we could change our way of working for the new DC. Nothing has been decided and we will deep dive further the different ideas and scenarios based on data (#datadriven)
There were interesting discussions, debates and challenges brought in this workshop, we are all looking forward to this new DC!
Load Carrier Forecasting
As promised, hereby a short update on the Load Carrier Forecasting!
The accuracy of the forecasts are as follows:
As you can see, the accuracy is very high. This means that it's very manageable for us to use this data to plan transport for our load carriers in advance. We have already made steps towards this, as we have already started sharing these forecasts with the third party involved in planning the retour of our CBL crates to the right suppliers.
Besides planning transport prematurely, we've also noted that we can detect deviations in our "fust" registration in real time. This is due to the high accuracy of the forecasts, meaning that any big deviations between the forecast and actuals, refer to an issue in our administration or in the actual delivery. Because of this we will also work on using the forecasts to "audit" our registration in real time.
That’s the update for this week, we will keep you updated on the progress!

Halloween celebration
On October 27th, we will celebrate Halloween at the office with some delicious cupcakes. Don't forget to grab one!
No HR on site next Monday
Next Monday, the 23rd, Myrthe and Lotte will be in Amsterdam to prepare the launch of Workday. Therefore, there will be no HR on site in Bleiswijk. However, you can still reach us by mail or slack. Please understand that there could be a delay in replying due to the workload of Workday. Thanks!

Engagement survey for frontline!
From November 6-19, we are running an engagement survey for all our frontline staff, including temp agencies. This means we will hopefully gather important insights on topics like employee well-being, HelloFresh leadership and diversity & inclusion from around 700 people. And, for the ones filling it in, a nice customized gift will be waiting 👀.
Encourage your team members to fill it in! A plan will be announced soon to make sure everyone knows how, when, and where they can fill in the survey.
